Marcel is nothing short of amazing! We saw him at my cousins wedding and knew we had to have him! He helped us with our scheduling and made great suggestions! This made planning much easier and he even worked with our coordinator to help the flow of the wedding. Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved the energy of the night and loved Marcel's MC skills, he really gets the crowd going and makes the transition from the beginning to the end smooth. If you want a DJ that will help your personal style stand out in your wedding, look no further. We 100% happy with the results of our day and would do it all over again.Marcel is nothing short of amazing! We saw him at my cousins wedding and knew we had to have him! I came across First Choice Dj when attending a wedding in September. He was very processional and had the crowd engaged through out the night. He had a variety of music which I loved. We just had our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and Marcel and his team were so amazing! Music was important to us and we wanted people to dance all night, so after meeting with Marcel for the first time, we knew we had found our guy. After chatting about our musical likes/dislikes, he was able to walk us through how our day would go - not only musically, but he also really takes the time to go through a real timeline with you, which is immensely helpful. The day of our wedding, the dance floor was packed all night - Marcel was awesome at reading what our family/friends were loving to keep the party going. FirstChoice DJs not only provided the best dancing music for my daughter's Sweet 16, but Marcel emceed the entire event and he does it in a way that makes you feel you like you've known him for years! Beyond professional and is gives your night such special attention. From the very beginning, they find out all your likes and dislikes and provide you with a special night of your favorite songs. They also provide uplighting and video screens if your choose that made the room look extremely lavish. They also provided us with our daughter's video montage which was set to the music of our choice. Spectacular work. The video was so beautiful. The Dj and his staff were all first rate. Not only did play just the right music for us and our guest he always was friendly to work with. I wanted to make sure I left a review for this amazing team who were our wedding DJ in August. My husband and I first experienced First Choice DJs and Entertainment’s music at our friend’s wedding. We loved the music and vibe the whole night that we knew we would get them once it was our turn to get married. When the time finally came, we contacted Marcel, who is also the MC, to schedule a meeting. After some questions from Marcel, he knew exactly what to play for us. We wanted English and Spanish music and he had a great mix of both. He also helped us with the reception timeline, which was so helpful because we had no idea what we had to do. The day of the wedding, Marcel introduced us for the reception and kept us on schedule the entire night, which was very helpful. Marcel and his team did such a great job with the music! Our guests danced all night long, even those who don’t like to dance. We love this DJ so much, that we recommended him to everyone and even had some of our engaged friends book him for their wedding. Book early because everyone wants to book them as soon as they meet with Marcel. It is not possible to find a better DJ than Marcel. Marcel of First Choice DJs is head and shoulders above the rest. He truly cares about making your event the best and most memorable. I had two different people refer Marcel and First Choice DJs to me and when I met him, I knew that there wouldn't be a better choice...and there wasn't. Having Marcel at your event is liking having hired multiple people, but it's all him- he runs the entire show!! Wow.. Wow.. Wow.... What can we say about First Choice Djs?!?!? We love them!!!! Marcel is truly and absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Ill start off by saying that we already had a dj picked out, but then we met First Choice Djs at a bridal show... and were blown away! by their appearance and how fun it was just being next to them! They were set up in a room with their dj booth and uplighting all over the room.. the music was an absolute show stopper! you can hear the quality behind all their equipment! and once we started talking to them, we knew this was it... we set up a meeting and met with Marcel and he was just perfect! He went over every possible detail with us. Within that first meeting, Marcel had us wanting to dance, had the perfect array of music, knew exactly what kind of music we liked with just a few questions and everythi g was golden from there! Even when we started to go over the father/daughter music, he had us in tears! then again for mother/son music... I was having a hard time finding the right father/daughter song and he found exactly what I wanted! we felt so comfortable with him and by the end of our visit, he was family...
There was no question he was the man for the job! You can see his addiction to music and his attention to detail and quality. For us, the DJ/MC was a VERY IMPORTANT part of our day, if not THEE most important... A DJ can make or break your day. They play such an important role in setting the mood and keeping your guests entertained. and MARCEL did that and more!! His profesionalism is incredible! and he was the PERFECT MC all night long!! he knew exactly how to get the crowd on the dance floor and they stayed there all night long!! It was beautiful! He made sure we were taken care of too!!! Made sure we got our food, made sure we took time to eat, made sure we drank water and had everything we needed. At some point I even saw him fixing a light (who else would do that? dont know). he made sure the venue looked great, made sure the night flowed great, read the crowd and kept our guests dancing ALL NIGHT LONG! People have been complimenting Marcel since that night and how great he made everything! He made sure certain lights were on for certain parts of our reception and also made sure it was dim when we wanted it to be... Even at the end of our night, we were trying to escape, and he took us thru another exit and made sure were made it over to the hotel nice and safe. All in all, he surpassed all of our expectations!! and we have family members and friends asking for his info, so if your intereseted in having him make your night special, contact him asap! You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!! We wish we can give him more stars!! Thank you for making our night sooo special Marcel!! You are Family!

Unbelievable. One of my biggest concerns for my wedding was having so many people from different cultures and wanting to have the best music for all of them. From traditional Mexican music, rock-en-espanol, to 80s and funk, Marcel and Luis did an AMAZING job. The dance floor was persistently packed. The flow was perfect and they were completely professional. I can't say one negative thing about the entire experience. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.Unbelievable. First Choice DJ's, did an awesomw job at our wedding. Everyone enjoyed there service, the know how to read a crowd. They played music that was enjoyed by the wedding guest. We heard positive compliments on our DJ, we will use them again. Our family booked them for an event already. We appreciate what Marcel and his team did for us. FirstChoiceDJs exceeded our expectations. From our first meeting with Marcel we knew we were dealing with someone who was professional. I am very picky about music, and my husband and I have very eclectic taste. At our initial meeting Marcel, he knew how to read us, in terms of style. He found ways to incorporate our love for rock and classical music into our ceremony. My husband walked down the aisle to Metallica, and it was tastefully done with style and grace.
As an emcee, we couldn't have asked for more. He made sure our reception ran smoothly. The music transitions were smooth. The announcements were made with elegance and style. And we treated us like royalty. He was kind enough to make sure we were taken care of (getting us punch when we were thirsty before the reception started, getting me a cool towel to get the sweat off my face). He went above and beyond the call of duty.
Our guests are still complimenting his choice of music and the wonderful job Marcel did as emcee and DJ. Our wedding was fun and fantastic. As a bride and a former wedding planner, I didn't have to give him a lot of instruction. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I didn't have to worry about anything. What instructions I did give him he followed to a tee. My husband and I couldn't be happier with his services. We recommend FirstChoiceDJs to any couple or any event. He was kind enough to make sure we were taken care of (getting us punch when we were thirsty before the reception started, getting me a cool towel to get the sweat off my face). He went above and beyond the call of duty.
Our guests are still complimenting his choice of music and the wonderful job Marcel did as emcee and DJ. Our wedding was fun and fantastic. As a bride and a former wedding planner, I didn't have to give him a lot of instruction. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I didn't have to worry about anything. What instructions I did give him he followed to a tee. My husband and I couldn't be happier with his services. We recommend FirstChoiceDJs to any couple or any event. Let me start by saying that I was extremely happy with the way Marcel conducted my wedding ceremony. Everything went so well, I want to get married again and re-live the day over and over. He did a great job!!!. Everyone is still talking about the wedding. Not only was it beautiful, but everyone had a good time and that is what I wanted. His equipment sounded excellent, the setup was timely, performances and musical selection were absolutely in line with our taste level as well as that of our guests', and your professionalism in dealing with us as well as accommodating for last minute requests was flawless and of the highest caliber. I was very happy to have followed our event planners recommendation as he exceeded our expectations.
I felt he was present and ready and guided the flow and timing of key moments (introduction, speeches, first dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc...) perfectly. Everything flowed from one moment into the other seamlessly.
Many of our guests absolutely loved his musical selection. The 80s dance stuff was a huge hit. The classical renditions of contemporary pop hits were also a great touch. He brought everyone to the dance floor early on. People kept dancing and he kept the momentum of the festivities going until the end.
I appreciate the effort and care he puts into his craft. Whatever it was we wanted to have happen at our wedding - that sense of joyful celebration - was achieved in great part thanks to his handling of the festivities. He exercised just the right level of encouragement and restraint for the crowd we had. I would not hesitate to make him our first recommendation to anyone looking for a great DJ for any event.
