    Wonderful wedding catering

    First & Oak did a great job catering our wedding. They worked with us on dietary restrictions, communication was easy, the tasting was great, and staff was professional. On the day-of when part of the group was slow to migrate to the cocktail hour area, they adapted by bringing over hors d'oeuvres and drinks on trays even though that wasn't planned. Cleanup was easy. There was so much food and it was all so good! It was expensive, but other caterers we talked to were understaffed. It was worth it to have a flawless experience.

    Not a Wedding, but a 60th to remember!

    We had First & Oak cater an outdoor birthday party in Los Olivos. From the beginning of planning through to the party itself, I know I was in good hands. We had an opportunity to visit their Brink and Mortar location to taste the food options and wine choices. This helped us decide on the final menu.

    During the actual event, with about 40 people, all the F&O folks made us feel really special. Gotta be one of the best parties we've ever thrown. Band, Passed App's, Sit-down dinner, dancing - All fabulous. Food was of the highest caliber. Highly recommend!

    Winery Events

    We have used First & Oak for several events, and the food is always a hit and budget friendly. In addition, Bethany makes event planning a breeze. She is friendly, organized and responds in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using First & Oak for any event.

    Superb staff!

    The team at Mirabelle Inn/First & Oak went above and beyond to make our special day go perfectly. It was an intimate affair (a "micro-wedding" as my husband and I like to call it) and they paid immense attention to every little detail. Not to mention, the food was spectacular!

    I highly recommend First & Oak to cater your next event! They're not only one of the best restaurants in Solvang, they're also offer amazing catering services. They offer delicious foods with beautiful presentation. I love working with Bethany on the preplanning & as the lead of a top notch staff on the event day. I truly appreciate all of their efforts, attention to detail, & contributing to the success of my past events. I can't say enough good things & recommend you do a tasting and/or book for your next event!

    First&oak Kitchen did my wedding dinner ! I am a very picky person and have ocd and want everything perfect ! Bethany was extremely professional and timely; the food was amazing !! I would definitely use them again for future events! Thank you team for your hard work and professionalism !

    Beautiful, delicious, one of a kind

    From their traveling Gourmet food truck to the restaurant at The Mirabelle Inn, First & Oak is doing some spectacular things in the world of food. My husband and I stayed at The Mirabelle for our birthday weekend (we're 3 days apart) and dined at First & Oak and had one of the most memorable food and wine pairing experiences we've ever had!
