  Blown Away!

  Geriann and Rachel and their team completely transformed the Inn at Erlowest and it blew us away! They literally turned my vision into reality and created a beautiful ballroom with draping and lights and converted the patio to have a 19th century flair. Geriann also was our day-of coordinator and her team helped the day go flawlessly. Even on the hottest day of the year, you would have no idea by the looks of it. Highly recommend the Fine Affairs team if you are in the Albany/Upstate area! Thank you Geriann!

  Winter wedding

  Absolutely beautiful! Geriann and Rachel exceeded our expectations with their décor. The Canfield Casino looked wonderful for our winter wedding. Their votive glass holders, gold sequin table linen, and Chiavari chairs tied all the decorations together. The room looked lovely! They were very attentive, organized, and professional. They even were in contact with our caterer the day of the wedding when delivering their décor and chairs, so we didn’t have to worry about it. Would highly recommend! 😊

  These ladies could rule the world!

  Words cannot begin to express how thrilled we were to work with the ladies at Fine Affairs. We chose the partial planning package, as I had selected my vendors last summer and had all contracts in place. Things started to get very stressful for me with work and my MOH and mother living out of state. My sister recommended that we hire a wedding planner and that was the best decision ever. We met with Rachel and Gerilynn in their office and my mother and I were immediately relaxed. All of a sudden, the wedding became fun, rather than a daunting to-do list. Rachel contacted all of my vendors and coordinated with everyone on the timeline, positions, photos we wanted, who said what and was supposed to stand where, etc. They also took care to make sure our visions were realized. My mother had her heart set on table decorations that she saw in a magazine and these ladies made it happen. They sourced out special vases and cubes and worked with our florist to create exactly what my mother wanted. It was breathtaking.
  
  Our team on the day of the wedding was Rachel, Gerilynn and Lindsay. They truly put our mind at ease and ran the show, so that we could enjoy the day and not have to make any decisions. They are also miracle workers when it comes to small emergencies. On three occasions, my dress broke (first the bustle and then the strap). They stitched me up the first two times and then performed major surgery on my dress, making sure that it would stay put until the end of the night. I must say that they are prepared for anything!
  
  I never realized all of the details that go into planning a wedding, from the bride's side. I work in the hotel industry and see it from the venue side, but there is so much more when you are planning your own event. I cannot thank Fine Affairs enough for the hard work they put into making our day special and perfect. If you are looking for someone to make your whole experience special, I highly recommend Fine Affairs!

  Anna and Michaels Wedding 1/52019

  As the parents of the groom we were not involved in many details of the wedding. We knew they were using Fine Affairs but were not involved in the planning. From the ceremony at the Gideon Putnam to the reception at the Hall of Springs Fine Affairs did an unbelievable job. The Hall was breathtaking from the table settings to the flowers, the drapes, to even the chairs not one detail missed. They gave Anna and Michael a fairy tale wedding every girl dreams of. Thank you Geriann, Rachel and Lindsey, you were amazing.

  Best Wedding Planners/Day Of Coordinators & Decorators out there

  I used Fine Affairs for my Jan 5th wedding. I have never seen such professionalism and togetherness from a company in my life. From the beginning Rachel recommended only the best and kept track of all of my contracts and details and ensured I thought of everything. She made sure I wrote it down on their formalized check lists. The weeks leading up to the wedding Rachel and her team met with me to ensure my vision was executed flawlessly (and it was). There was a binder with every last detail, contact, contract and idea carried around everywhere we went. Two days before the wedding we had our final walk through with a team of Fine Affairs experts. My day of Coordinator was Lyndsay and her composure was unprecedented. Every wish was my command and she managed to never rush me but made sure we were a head of schedule the entire day. I got a moment to pop an extra bottle of Champaign with my girls and take it all in - what more does a bride want!?! She had called all my vendors to ensure everything was all set and the day was to go off without a hitch and it did! I arrived at my venue and it was stunning! Fine Affairs hit the nail on the head and the place was beyond perfection. Everything was set up and ready for guests to arrive. I have never been more happy in my life and Fine Affairs did it all! I owe them for making my dreams come true. I would recommend them to every bride I meet! Don't forget they do any destinations!

  Above and beyond expectations

  Geriann and Robin exceeded all expectations, from venue selection, to floor plan well suited to our country line dance fanatics, floral artistry from Surroundings, right down to the magical Mary Poppins bag containing every fix it item one could need. And we needed Tide sticks to clean dirt off the dress. Thank you, Robin!!

  Unique Wedding in the home we reaised our daughter

  Fine Affairs created a unique wedding at our home by transforming our garage with two heated tents out back into a really fun and beautiful environment - over 100 people in awe of the transformation - one never knew they were in a garage with a fun snack bar, Italian and Indian stations. The tents seemed like a building beautifully decorated.
  They created a one-of-a-kind wedding always to be remembered in our home.

  We brought in Fine Affairs for lighting and rentals and worked mostly with Geriann. They were a little more expensive than I would have wanted to pay, but they clearly know what they're doing and on-site we never even saw them as they were setting everything up. There are only two things that we would comment on. The first is the light of the uplighting that we did was a little purple/blue and we wished that it was softer, as we were trying to highlight the inside of a barn to let that shine through and it didn't look quite as soft as we would have liked. The second is that we had a lot of issues with emails not making it through their system, so we thought for a month that they weren't responsive, which wasn't the case but their messages weren't getting to us. Once we figured that out, we were all good so just know that if you feel like it's been a while between responses.

  I would absolutely 100% say to book Fine Affairs!! Rachel Eddy was there for me every step of the way as my wedding planner/organizer. She has such calm energy, which I recommend to every bride to have around you before and on the big day :)

  We are so very happy to have worked with Geriann! Due to weather, our ceremony was moved inside at the last minute and the setup was extraordinary. She absolutely transformed the room. The table arrangements were perfect; guests can't stop talking about how beautiful it all looked. Geriann's attention to detail is just amazing. Thank you!

  Wendy and Fine Affairs helped us create our dream wedding. They were extremely accommodating and consultative to pull many pieces of the puzzle together perfectly.
  
  There is no substitute for having Wendy as our wedding coordinator. Her preparedness and wedding day "know-how" translates to an ease for bride, groom, friends, and family. Wendy seemed to be every where at exactly the right time with exactly what we needed. She coordinated all of our vendors to perfection. I can't stress how great it was to know that all of these things were handled and we didn't have to think about it.
  
  For Wendy and Fine Affairs, pulling off our wedding perfectly was easy for them as they do that over and over again for many brides and grooms. For us, it was the care they showed us and put into our wedding that made it so special.

  Fine Affairs did a fabulous Decor and Design Package for our daughter's wedding. We had many compliments on how perfectly, "Fine Affairs" captured her personality and what a special day it was. The venue looked amazing! Most of all, I feel blessed we had Wendy Lawrence as our "day of coordinator" for the wedding. She was absolutely incredible, delightful to work with, organized, and she truly cares about her clients and their desires. Wendy was readily available whenever I had any questions or concerns. We had several challenges before and on the wedding day, but she took control and solved everything beautifully. Also two days before the event we wanted to surprise our daughter with Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream catering, which Wendy was able to arrange in 15 minutes.   Fine Affairs did a fabulous Decor and Design Package for our daughter's wedding. We had many compliments on how perfectly, "Fine Affairs" captured her personality and what a special day it was. The venue looked amazing! Most of all, I feel blessed we had Wendy Lawrence as our "day of coordinator" for the wedding. She was absolutely incredible, delightful to work with, organized, and she truly cares about her clients and their desires. Wendy was readily available whenever I had any questions or concerns. We had several challenges before and on the wedding day, but she took control and solved everything beautifully. Also two days before the event we wanted to surprise our daughter with Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream catering, which Wendy was able to arrange in 15 minutes.   My wife insisted that we get a wedding planner, even if it was just for day of, for our extremely DIY wedding in Saratoga Springs. I thought she was crazy.   Fine affairs does an amazing job. They did both my bridal shower and my wedding. They turned a backyard into a gorgeous backyard Venus. For my wedding they turned our Venus room in to the most beautiful room I have ever seen. They are great to work with and will make you special events that much more special. When I have to plan another event I will definitely use them again.
