The team at the Cedar bend actually helped make my wedding exactly what I imagined!
Going into the wedding planning process I thought I had everything under control, and turns out I was in way over my head (before the wedding planning list and multiple email correspondences and meetings). But for a 12 hour ceremony and reception venue, day of event coordinator, with a bar, yard games (before and after the ceremony (I am the oldest of 5 with divorced parents so that was very important to me)), table settings, glass wear, set up and tear down, different ceremony options, serving staff and plenty of scenery the day was an absolute blast!
Kara and her team went above and beyond, they not only made my vision come to light, and filled in the gaps I may have missed in the crazy wedding planning process. They also helped keep me on track in the wedding planning.
The day of her and the entire team checked in on us regularly and made sure we stayed hydrated and, had time too cool off, pulled me and Zach aside to have time for ourselves on our wedding day, and a she kept in touch will all of my vendors to make sure they knew when and where to be all day. She even talked my family through the process so Zach and I could just enjoy our day.
Kara offered guidance and suggestions every step of the way, and honestly offered complete support in mine and Zach’s decisions! I didn’t take many photos day of since Zach and I were enjoying the day with our friends and family, but I will add them once we get them developed/from our photographer.
I cannot express how grateful Zach and I were to have Kara and the entire Cedar Bend team there with us on our big day, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an outdoor venue and an awesome atmosphere/vibe!The Cedar Bend's reply:

I’m not going to lie. I had venue regret so bad at first, but I’m so thankful I didn’t change my mind. This venue is so versatile and affordable. Kara is a rockstar and didn’t skip a beat while helping me plan and on the day of we couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator. She was on top of everything. The venue is tucked away on property and it felt so private and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful the property was. Not to mention the house is so cozy and welcoming. -

GORGEOUS venue, OUTSTANDING Coordinator and staff!
I HIGHLY recommend The Cedar Bend! My husband and I had our wedding at The Cedar Bend on 8/13/2022. We chose the "Peace of Mind" package, and it was the BEST decision we could've made. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS (seriously, our guests could NOT stop talking about how beautiful everything was!!), and Kara was FANTASTIC as our coordinator. The contract states that she was supposed to be a "day of" coordinator, but she was so much more than that. She helped us with everything leading up to the wedding and acted as our own personal concierge during the wedding.
Kara made sure the drink stations never ran out of ice cold drinks (water, lemonade, tea, soda, etc...), she made sure everyone was having the best time. She even made sure my husband and I got a moment to just sit and eat and enjoy ourselves. During pictures, she brought us ice cold frozen towels to wipe the sweat from our brows (seriously, if you're having an outdoor wedding, or even taking pictures outside, get some frozen towels!)
Kara also took care of setting up our decorations and added in some of the venue's decorations as well. She did such a great job making sure everything looked perfect!
We didn't have to worry about a single thing during the wedding, and Kara made sure it went so smoothly. Everyone had the best time! I highly recommend The Cedar Bend, and Kara.

The Perfect Spot for Our Intimate Wedding
The Cedar Bend is a beautiful venue with a rustic hill country vibe - and easy access to the airport for out-of-town guests. There's lots of outdoor beauty and features that are perfect for photos and enjoying the day. While it's mostly outdoors, the grounds are well maintained and treated so there are no issues with bugs.
Kara was our coordinator, and we loved working with her. She was always quick to respond to our questions and was very helpful during our on-site planning sessions.
On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly. Kara did a great job laying out the decor, directing our vendors, and keeping us on schedule without making us feel stressed. She made sure we had what we needed throughout the day and was always asking what she could do to help. The bar service, also handled by The Cedar Bend was also great.
We highly recommend The Cedar Bend and strongly feel they are a great value for all that they offer.The Cedar Bend's reply:

I have always wanted an outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by trees. When we toured The Cedar Bend, I realized this place was exactly what we were looking for. It has so much more to offer than just a beautiful wedding venue. Kara was so helpful from the start. We used her for our day of coordinator. She was in contact with us periodically throughout the planning process and then very frequently once we got closer to our wedding date. She walked us through every detail of our wedding. She is such a sweet person and I'm so grateful for her. Our wedding day came and went and everything was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful. Nothing went wrong and if It did I wasn't aware because Kara took care of everything. All of the staff at the cedar bend were so helpful and pleasant to be around. Having my wedding at the Cedar bend was as stress free as it gets.The Cedar Bend's reply:

This venue is absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. It was also such a joy to work with Kara! She never got tired of our questions and always responded so quickly and joyfully! Everything is priced very reasonably compared to other places. She made our day run so smoothly, the decorations were so cute, and Kara was there every time we needed something with a smile on her face!! We originally found Events at Cedar Bend here on WeddingWire and it checked a lot of things I was wanting for a venue. I live across the country so when I found out they were having an open house, I sent my parents over and they facetimed me in and I loved everything about it!
We were mostly in touch with Liz, and when we came into town we visited the venue and knew this was the one.
Planning a wedding is hard enough, but planning a wedding out of state was that much harder, but Liz was the absolute BEST! Any questions I had she was there, she was organized and on top of everything. She communicated with vendors and in the end was my saving grace!
Our original wedding date was cancelled just a week before the wedding when the pandemic hit, and they were so accommodating with trying to reschedule, and after a year of communication we were finally able to have our wedding and it was the actual best night of our lives.
Liz, was so on top of our timeline and flexible when I was being pulled away, but she kept everything rolling smoothly and I cannot thank her enough!
We also hired their DJ, Jayson, through Toast Entertainment and he rocked the night away! I literally don't think I left the dance floor all night, except when I was pulled away to take a photo. He was so kind and played all the right music!
I'm emotional thinking of just how amazing our wedding day was, it was the wedding of our dreams thanks to everyone!
We’ll be forever grateful for their service to us and the memories they helped make happen for us.
20/10 would recommend! -
Casey Sent on 11/03/2017We really did have the best day ever! We absolutely loved the venue and getting to work with Jillian. She helped our vision exceed our own expectations. My guests had a really fun time and managed to stay warm throughout the frigid night (thanks to Jillian for getting out blankets!) I would highly recommend this venue:)

Devin Sent on 10/31/2017Jillian and the Cedar Bend staff were absolutely amazing. They made my wedding everything I dreamt of and more. Jillian offering her services as day of coordinator is completely worth it. She was completely on top of everything leading up to the wedding and day of she constantly checked on me (the bride) to make sure everything was what i wanted. She took care of my vendors, her amazing husband made a great bar tender who took great care of my guests and her staff made everything flawless. I wouldn't have changed a thing!
