Excellent DJ!
We had a great experience with DJ Polo Brown! He captured the vibe of the reception perfectly. We honestly didn’t know if people would dance at our wedding because it was on the smaller side with some non-dancing types but the music was so great we had a group on the dance floor the whole time! We wanted to keep the music mostly PG but still have current hits and popular music, and he executed that exactly. First dances were cued perfectly. Dinner music was nice as well. Mics worked seamlessly for speeches. We are definitely glad we hired him! Recommend! -

We had the absolute pleasure of attending Susan and James Mitchell's wedding yesterday, and I have to say, DJ Polo Brown truly made it an unforgettable event! From the moment the reception started, he was on point. He seamlessly took song requests from the crowd, playing everything we asked for without missing a beat, while still keeping the flow of the evening going strong. It was amazing how he catered to all the different tastes in music, ensuring everyone had a great time.
The energy on the dance floor never faded, and that’s all thanks to DJ Polo Brown! He knew exactly when to ramp things up and when to slow it down, reading the room perfectly. His transitions between songs were smooth, and his music selection kept the party alive all night long. The mix of classics, modern hits, and special requests really showed his versatility and skill as a DJ.
Not only did he deliver an amazing performance, but he was also a true professional throughout. From coordinating with the wedding party to making sure everything stayed on schedule, he handled it all with ease. His setup was clean and professional, and he was fully engaged with the crowd, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a DJ who can take your event to the next level, DJ Polo Brown is the one!

DJ Polo Brown was the best DJ and MC we could’ve picked for our wedding. We wanted a good blend of Latin and American music and DJ Polo Brown specializes in just that. He was also able to do a great mash up for our separate entrances of the parents, bridal party and my husband and myself. Great voice, very professional, we didn’t have to worry about a thing! -

We hired DJ Polo Brown for our 9/7/2024 wedding in Virginia. Our experience with DJ Polo Brown started out normal, Joshua was very accommodating and receptive to our needs. We gave him a timeline, list of songs to play, and even links to the correct songs for our ceremony. The morning of the wedding, Joshua let us know that it would be a different DJ that would be coming out to our wedding instead, and that he had all the necessary information. Long story short, he did not.
For our ceremony, this new DJ, Teddy, who is affiliated with DJ Polo Brown, was going to play RANDOM SONGS FROM BRIDGERTON. We picked out 4 very specific and sentimental songs for our ceremony, and he literally played whatever he felt like untiI I (the bride) texted him seconds before I walked out so that he would play the right song. He played This Love by Taylor Swift for my bridal party instead of Simply The Best, I truly cannot imagine what compelled him to just pick a random song instead of asking what the couple wanted. The ceremony processional was the most important part of my wedding to me, it's my favorite part, and it was completely botched.
During the reception, he had no idea of the timeline. He had to ask our maid of honor what our last name was right before we had our grand entrance. He consistently disappeared from the reception (to smoke weed at our venue), so we could not skip songs. He played WAP while my grandmother was RIGHT THERE, and disappeared so we couldn't change the highly inappropriate song choice!!
We wanted a calm, country vibe for the beginning of the night, and he started the dinner out with Yummy by Justin Bieber. It was like they didn't look at any of the info I sent over.
Of course at the end of the day our wedding was a beautiful day and not even a messy DJ could ruin it completely. That said, we do not recommend DJ Polo Brown for ANY weddings after the experience at ours.Event Masters's reply:
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I truly regret that your wedding day did not go as planned in terms of the music and DJ experience. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and it's deeply disappointing to hear that we fell short of your expectations.
I take full responsibility for the issues you mentioned, and I apologize for any frustration and disappointment caused. It’s clear that there were lapses in communication and execution on our end, and I completely understand how upsetting it must have been to have your ceremony and reception music not aligned with your preferences.
In hindsight, I realize that assigning another DJ at the last minute without personally ensuring that all details were fully understood was a misstep. Our goal is always to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience, and it’s clear we did not meet that standard at your event. I will be addressing these concerns directly with Teddy to ensure this never happens again.
As for the song selections and other issues during the reception, I sincerely apologize for the inappropriate choices, both in music and professionalism. This is not the experience I want any of my clients to have, and it does not reflect the quality of service we strive to offer.
I truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve, and I want to make this right. If there’s anything I can do to help address these concerns further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.
