    Great lighting!

    We needed some extra lighting for one of the barns we were using for dancing and after party for our wedding. We were recommended Esq. Events and I cannot recommend Jennifer enough! She was so quick and easy to work with, she completely understood my vision of lighting and ensured that they were able to make it happen even though we reached out to her only a couple of months before the wedding! They have a few cool custom pieces that we took advantage of, but we mostly used string cafe lights and really awesome band/dance floor lighting and it completely transformed the barn into exactly what we were hoping! Definitely look into them if you need some extra lighting for your wedding day!

    Jennifer is a lifesaver! She took over complete control on things I had no interest in or was too overwhelmed to manage. She stepped back and allowed me to run the show when I knew what I wanted and didn't need the help. My husband and I work completely opposite schedules and were planning a wedding in Pennsylvania, several miles and states away from Jen's home base. There was never a time where Jen couldn't be reach or make herself available to help or answer questions. The day of our wedding was the smoothest event I've ever been apart of. I never looked at a clock or worried about the time. I was confident everything was going as planned. If anything went wrong, I was completely unaware, Jen took care of everything we could imagine...and all the things we couldn't! She's the best!

    Jennifer has a special ability as a wedding planner to read her clients and fit herself for their needs - want a planner that's laid back? Got it. Have a family member who has a million questions and wants the help and opinion of a professional? You got that, too. She recommended some of the most wonderful vendors, and truly made our day (and wedding weekend) run without a hitch (and if there was, I didn't know about it!). She also knew when to push me and my husband to make decisions (we're very laid back and were somewhat apathetic with wedding planner), but also knew when she could add and make decisions without bothering us, either. She added so many beautiful, creative, incredible touches to our reception - especially in a space that was difficult to work with. She gave both my husband and I a piece of mind that we wouldn't have had otherwise. I can't recommend Jennifer enough!

    Whether you are looking for that "extra help" or "take over the whole darn thing" approach in planning and coordinating your big-day event, look no further than Jennifer. Seriously - your search is over. Send her a booking email, close your browser window and go back to planning the sparkles (or lack thereof) on your dream dress or duds. Speaking as a person who claims to be "no frills" but old enough to want a sophisticated party, I can testify that planning these events gets quickly complicated. Because if you honestly think about it - and I'm looking at you - even then most "bare bones" bride or groom has a vision in their head about how they want their wedding to look and feel. Whether you consider it to be THE DAY OF ALL DAYS or just a charming start to the rest of your lives, we all have visions and expectations. Even me. A woman who avoids brushing my hair with a daily barretted up-do and would prefer wearing a uniform to avoid daily clothing decisions. Yup, I even had visions. A mix of equestrian, motorcycles, turn-of-the-century ritz and "ironic" beers - I had subconscious visions galore. And Jennifer was whiz at helping me identify all those things, what mattered and what didn't., where to spend and where to save (important!) and how to make an amazing party. Plus, Jennifer had great connections with so many local vendors, so I found the raddest florist, photog and caterers. Finally, Jennifer is a truly amazing person - she genuine, funny and earnestly wants the day to meet your vision.

    Bottom line: This "thing" you're about to host with your beloved - cozy or grandiose, steamy-punk or gutter-goth, tradish or something singular, and every shade in-between - is going to be memorable and to take between 2 and 7 months to plan and coordinate, so why not enjoy both the event AND the process too? That's where Jennifer's magic skills and charming personality really shine. I couldn't have been more impressed.

    Jen was incredibly helpful in planning our North Shore wedding while we were living in the mid-west. She was attentive to our requests, invaluable in helping us design our concepts, and handled all the details and meetings with vendors that we couldn't be physically present for - while still making sure we retained complete control over what we wanted for our day. She was easy going, fun to work with, and she was no nonsense on the day of -- and it looked great! Everything seemed to go off without a hitch, and we were able to really enjoy the time with our friends and family knowing that Jen and her team was taking care of everything.

    Lighting elevates any event!

    Jen and her team went above and beyond to make our bistro light dreams come true for our wedding at Olio in Peabody July 2022. Lighting truely elevates the whole mood of any event. Her team also installed a vertical light backdrop behind our sweetheart table which was beautiful and anchored the whole space.

    You always hear about wedding horror stories, but when you are planning a wedding, it's easy to feel like you have everything under control. Well, we had a big horror story happen to us, luckily Jenn and her AMAZING team were there to, literally, save our day.
    Long story short, we had a tented/barn style outdoor venue and our wedding decorator simply did NOT show up the day of the wedding. The decorator and her team were responsible for setting up the flowers, making the seating chart, decorating the altar, setting up the dance hall and a few other things. Just picture the big responsibility. THANK GOODNESS we had Jenn and her team. They stepped up to the plate and took all of those responsibilities under their belt.

    Jenn had asked me how involved I would want to be the day and whether I would want to know if anything went wrong. Luckily I told her that I did not want to know of anything that was going wrong and trusted her to make all of the decisions on my behalf. I am so glad she asked me that question and I am so happy I trusted her. Had I known that we had no decorator my entire day would have been ruined. Because of Jenn and her team filled I was able to enjoy a lovely, stress-free morning sipping on champagne with my girlfriends.

    Now onto her planning skills. Jenn was extremely organized, experienced, friendly and easy to work with. She came to our house before the wedding for meetings. We reviewed the plan, the timeline and the to-do list. During the rehearsal she was able to coordinate my family, which is a mission almost impossible given they don't speak English. She worked with all the vendors, recommended a few and coordinated the timeline. She did so much! There's not enough space to list everything here.

    The best decision we made was to hire Jenn as our wedding coordinator. She was way more than a coordinator, she was an angel!

    We were off to a bad start before we found Esquire Events. We had a bad wedding planner and were extremely behind. Jennifer took us on and was able to put together our perfect wedding with about 2 months to spare. She helped us find the rest of our vendors, put together a timeline, and made sure everythring ran extremely smoothly. If there were setbacks, we had no idea about them. With her, our wedding was truly a dream come true!

    Jennifer was an absolute joy to work with and helped us to realize the (admittedly specific) vision we had for our big day. In providing checklists and guidance, she ensured that we not only accounted for the obvious items, but did not overlook any details -- no small feat! She was conscious of our budget and the size of our wedding, making vendor recommendations that both accounted for and exceeded our expectations. I give her full credit for keeping me a sane bride not only during the planning process, but during the reception itself -- if anything went wrong the day of, I was oblivious to it, as she expertly made sure all preparations went off without a hitch. We could not have survived the planning and coordination process without her!

    Jennifer from Esquire Events did an incredible job with coordination for our 9/27 Lake Winnipesaukee wedding. Our original florist/coordinator went out of business. While this was definitely a surprise, I really believe everything happens for a reason, and we found Jennifer through our previous coordinator. By the time I began working with Jennifer, we were halfway through the planning process. Jennifer was quick-minded, creative and very helpful as she jumped right in and listened to what I had already done, and the vision we had for our wedding. She had great vendor suggestions for some vendors we were still in need of (florist, rentals, stationery!) and they were as fabulous as Jennifer! Leading up to the big day, she came up with a very detailed timeline that was a huge help and relief to us and vendors day of. She went above and beyond... We had a bunch of simple floral arrangements scheduled for the rehearsal dinner, and the local florist (not our wedding florist) had stopped responding to my requests for the final balance. As a result when she showed up to the rehearsal she had not been paid! Jennifer stepped right in, paid the bill in our absence, and many small hiccups came up like this (as in any event) where Jennifer was a problem-eliminating magician. Specifically the weekend of she was a huge help. She did exactly what was needed (along with two of her awesome staff) exactly when it was needed. She made it so that we could fully enjoy and be present on our wedding day. We were not worried about packing gifts, breaking down decorations, getting guests into shuttles, collecting personal items, anything at all at the end of the night. I will always be grateful to Jennifer and her staff because she gave us the amazing gift of being able to really be present for the entire day. Her positive attitude, organization and overall type A rock star skills are a rare find and I would highly recommend Jennifer to other brides.

    Jennifer was a lifesaver to me leading up to and on the day of the wedding. We hired her mainly for day-of coordination but she also provides full event planning services. We coordinated in the months leading up to the wedding, but most critically in the last few weeks.
    She is organized, thoughtful, creative, and responsive. She offered advice and ideas that I found incredibly helpful and valuable. She understood our vision for the day and executed it perfectly.

    I felt 100% comfortable turning everything over to Jennifer in the last week so that she could be the one to handle vendors, wrangle family members, and put out any fires. She seemed prepared for any and all contingencies. I had a minor freak out about the length of my dress just before entering the reception and Jennifer found a spot for us to go so she could pin it up just enough, and most importantly get me 5 minutes of peace and quiet. She knew exactly what needed to be done. She works well with others which is clearly an important trait for a wedding coordinator.

    If you are on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, I will tell you that hiring Jennifer was the best money I spent for our wedding. I highly recommend working with Jennifer Cox and Esq. Events. You will not be disappointed!

    We contacted Jennifer with the intent to hire her as a day of coordinator for our wedding, but ended up having her assist us throughout the remainder of the planning. My fiancee and I had done most of the initial coordinating ourselves, but recognized it would be stressful to be in charge on that day. We wanted someone else to be responsible for ensuring all the vendors we had hired knew where to go, as well as making sure the ceremony and reception went according to plan. From the moment we contacted Esq. Events, we knew Jennifer and her team would be a good fit for us. On our initial call, Jennifer made it clear that she would be there to help us anywhere along the planning process, even if we were just interested in services for the day of. She was very respectful of the decisions that had already been made, but was able to provide her extensive knowledge to find vendors we had yet to hire. During the months prior to the event, Jennifer accompanied us as we did the walk through, and always made herself available to answer every question. She was incredibly responsive, always excited to chat, knows a ton about the wedding industry, and you can tell she truly enjoys her role as a wedding planner. What was even more impressive was seeing her work the day of. She had asked that week where I wanted her to be. The options were: with me as I got dressed, or at the venue. She provided me a sense of comfort, so I decided I wanted her to be by my side, knowing of course someone from her team would be handling the reception site. That morning as I got ready, she would run back and forth from room to room, was there to receive the bouquets, made sure my dad's boutonniere was placed correctly, and handled all communication with vendors. Although she was quiet and made herself almost invisible to me, I knew she was in charge. It was truly a treat to have her there with us. Esq. Events made our experience far less stressful and we were able to truly enjoy our day.

    love love love!!! Esq.Events is AMAZING. I was not planning to enlist a coordinator for my wedding - frankly, i both enjoyed the idea that I was doing all the planning myself, and had a perception that coordination may be a frivolous expense, especially when budgets are tight. Then I met Jen through a friend. Boy, was I wrong. I have absolutely no idea how my wedding day would have happened without Jen. Honestly - I would have been cuing myself to walk down the aisle and decorating my reception hall instead of getting dressed. And, I'm pretty sure someone critical would have not made it to the church, and my family heirloom cake knife would have been lost forever to the catering gods. All the little logistical details I thought I had down pat...turns out you can't be the bride AND the coordinator. If you have any doubts about the value of coordination... DONT! Jen is fabulous, talented, organized, laid back, and her rates are reasonable. It is worthwhile and Esq.Events is terrific.

    Jen Cox was absolutely great on coordinating our daughter's wedding. She had an answer for everything - where to rent pedi-cabs, tandems, disco balls, etc. She was calm throughout the whole process, incredibly flexible - even coming to my work to help figure out the seating arrangements - and always in good humor. All the others with whom Jen worked - from the venue coordinator to the caterer to the officiant - said Jen was great to work with as well.

    Jennifer of Esq. Events was a perfect for our wedding! She was a huge wealth of knowledge and support, and the day of I knew I could just sit back and enjoy myself and she would take care of everything. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

    Simply put, Esq. Events is spectacular. My now-husband and I hired Jennifer Cox of Esq. Events primarily to be a day-of coordinator for our wedding, but she is so much more than that. It's like having your own personal guide to navigating a sea of infinite choices. Jennifer offered recommendations on vendors and gave us a reality check on what things cost. Her background as an attorney alone was worth her (very reasonable) fee: she reviewed our contracts and in one case clarified the terms in our favor. She helped us crystallize the look and feel we wanted and located unique decor items that were within our budget. As out-of-towners planning the wedding from afar, she served as our local representative, visiting the venue to get ideas and doing the walk-through with our caterer. She was responsive to all of my e-mail queries and personable, gracious and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. But where she really proved her mettle was during the wedding itself. She took care of every last detail, from ensuring the ceremony procession went smoothly to physically moving chairs and tables to expand the size of our dance floor. In short, she worked her butt off and we didn't have to worry about a thing because she took care of it. Thank you, Jennifer!

    Jennifer Cox of Esquire Events could not have done a better job helping plan our wedding. We were working on a VERY tight budget and she not only was able help break down the cost of each detail that goes into a wedding, she also came up with some great money saving ideas (that didn't look as though we cut costs!). She was also able to suggest some great vendors, our dj (Michael O'Neil) and photographer (Li Ward) who also came within our budget and did and exceptional job. Our wedding turned out the be the wedding of our dreams, with all the credit going to Esq. Events.
    Jenn is knowledgeable, creative, easily accessible and just fun to work with. I would recommend her to anyone looking to plan a wedding. It is sure to turn out beautiful, fun and just the way you imagined your big day to be!

    Jennifer is awesome. I cannot imagine the wedding planning process and our wedding day without her! We hired her for month-of coordination services, but she helped us with so much more than that. She had great suggestions to help with our budget and decor, she sat in on vendor meetings with us, and never made me feel crazy when I probably was. : ) My husband was not initially on board with hiring a wedding coordinator at all, but after working with Jen he says that she was one of our best wedding decisions! She is totally great at what she does and I highly, highly recommend her!

    I don't know what we would have done without Jennifer's planning and coordinating services! It was a true pleasure working with her, she is very responsive and enthusiastic. She made the planning process so much easier and kept us on track the whole time. I highly recommend this service, it takes so much pressure and stress off. Our wedding turned out beautiful, we had a wonderful day and we could relax and enjoy ourselves because Jennifer made sure everything was coordinated and running smoothly.

    I cannot possibly say enough about Jennifer. She is absolutely amazing, and it makes me a little scared to think what could have happened at my wedding had she not been my coordinator for the day. She helped with everything I asked. Leading up to the wedding, she was a huge help. I knew help with a question or decision was just an email away, but more than anything, her timeline she created was marvelous. Without a doubt, better and more detailed than I would have thought to make on my own, and saved me that time for other planning. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I did not have that timeline to give to everyone before the wedding day.
    Where I think Jennifer really shined was on the wedding day itself. She really helped with everything. That included big possible catastrophes including convincing the parking lot to stay open late for my wedding guests (the one that the venue told me to direct people to) and managing to get the slide show I spent hours on working on the TV�s. She also helped with all the little stuff, probably a ton of things I do not even know she did. It seemed like all day she was right there when I needed her. She took the last minute items to the venue, made sure everything/everyone was where they were supposed to be, and kept the night running smoothly all around. I know that having her there saved me a lot of stress, and let me enjoy every aspect of the day. In a day that went by in the blink of an eye, I am really glad I got to spend every second having fun, and I know a lot of that is because of the help I got from Jennifer. Even some guests the staff at the venue were impressed. I would definitely recommend the services of Jennifer and Esq. Events to anyone planning a wedding. If I had it do all over again, the only thing I would have changed would be finding Jennifer even earlier than I did.

    Absolutely amazing! Jennifer went above and beyond for me not only on my day but months before my special day! She contacted all of my vendors to introduce herself as well as deal with any last minute planning. She even got us a discounted price for one of our vendors that I had already booked. She made the last few months very easy for me!
    Every vendor complimented the detailed timeline that Jennifer put together; none of them had ever seen anything like it! Everything went off without a hitch and the whole day was perfect. We really couldn't have done it without her!
