Lissahn was the best planner I could have EVER wished for! She handled the stress of wedding planning due to my venue. She made my wedding day a dream come true and everything was beautiful and flawless. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to have a stress free planning planning process and a beautiful wedding. I booked a few venues prior to hiring her, but she somehow made it all come together and I will be forever thankful!Enraptured Events's reply:

Rebekah Sent on 11/05/2017Long review alert! Where do I begin...I reached out to Lissahn on 9/25/2017 at 2AM, 38 days before my wedding. I could not sleep because my planner at the time was showing me a lot of things that had me afraid for my wedding day (tardiness, lack of communication and professionalism, etc). Lissahn emailed me back at 2:55AM to say that she was available and would love to help me. We talked over the phone later in the day, she was very professional and conducted herself like she was in an interview. I had a million questions and she was very poised. Needless to say, I was impressed! After talking to my fiancé, we had a signed contract the next day. Already, a huge weight was lifted! She immediately came up with a vision board and I was blown away when she sent it to me! It was exactly what I had in mind for my wedding day! Anything that was not right with my wedding from the previous planner, she fixed! She addressed things that I hadn’t considered and the previous planner had never made mention of! Lissahn has contacts for everything...she will get you whatever you want! I work overnight, and handle a lot of my business during the night and early morning, Lissahn always responded in a timely manner! When we went to meetings...she was on time and she took charge, I didn’t have a care in the world. My wedding day was executed flawlessly! Lissahn and her assistants were in constant communication. My wedding started on time and all vendors were on the same page, my guest were highly inpressed! People were talking about the decor and Lissahn all night! People came up to me to say, “your planner is on point,” several times throughout the night! My family and friends all said that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever attended. I am still in awe of that day, I want to relive it over and over again! Lissahn is the only person I will trust from here on out for any event! Oh, Lissahn also planned my rehearsal dinner and that too, was elegant!

I thought working with Lissahn and Enraptured Events would be a great weight off my shoulders and our wedding would be the great dream that I always wanted it to be. But that is not how it turned out.
After hiring her, it took 2-3 weeks just to get a venue locked in. She said that the venues she knew of only had Sundays or Fridays available for which we told her we strictly only wanted Saturday. We sent her the list of our venues and she booked our initial top choice. (Therefore, no wedding planner was needed for that). Then she ignore the budget and used the same vendors she uses for all her weddings. When it came to hiring a caterer, she said she could not find a cheaper caterer. We reached out to a friend who lived in Atlanta and she gave us the number of a caterer who was much more in our price range (and his food was amazing). So many other issues occurred during the planning process but we can fast forward to March 2020, one month before the wedding. COVID happened and we had to postpone. Booking a new date needed to happen speedily so we can hire all the same vendors as they were not willing to give us a refund (one month into the wedding, we had already paid everything). She seemed to have trouble getting in touch with the vendors and securing a date. So my husband and I made all the calls to the vendors and secured a new date. Two weeks before the wedding, my brother and a groomsman in the wedding unexpectedly died. At this point, the plan was to postpone the wedding again. It was a big loss to the family and planning a wedding and funeral at the same time is simply traumatic. She was one of the first phone calls we made believing that she would take care of the wedding as we had to fly to Florida and deal with the loss of our loved one. As I tearfully made the phone call, her response was “Well, what do you want me to do?”—very callously. She then followed back with a text message saying we could not postpone the date further and by the way the DJ said the final payment is due today. But it gets worse. She failed to provide us the correct invoice for the flowers. We asked a couple of times and the incorrect invoice was not updated until much later. Now, the funds we had to use for the decorations and flowers were now used on a funeral. The florist had our deposit and refused to provide us with flowers for the wedding. So we were still forced to have a wedding with no decorations despite paying half the cost already. And Lissahn did not come up with any method to figure out how to decorate our wedding with no flowers; she offered us no ideas. Now it is wedding day and Lissahn was nowhere to be found. We had no seating chart until she requested on the day of the wedding for us to send her a guest list. And she did not secure a first look location for photos as she promised so a bridesmaid had to do that last minute and plan the first look photos. A few loving friends heard that we would not have decorations and decided to create center pieces for the venue. Lissahn was given these decorations early in the morning but delayed in setting them up so guests were actually not able to enter the reception until 1 hour after scheduled. This cut our reception short to where my husband and I did not have a chance to greet guests and we only had time to dance to 3 songs. Lissahn lied and said she asked to push back the time of the reception and give us one extra hour since the delay was due to her team. I called the venue the next day and she stated Lissahn and the Enraptured team never asked to extend the reception time. -

Definitely the worst experience, nothing was done to make my day special. It was only about the design not the bride or groom. Even my guests complained about how rude the planner was to guests & kids. The only good thing was the decor, no personal touches just straight to the point, checking off boxes on a to-do list, our wedding was ended 2 hours early so she could be done & over with it. The whole wedding day & planning experience was ruined by someone who lacks a passion for her job. I would not recommend the services to anyone.
