  Wonderful experience! The girls were very efficient and experienced. Our hair and makeup lasted all day and all night!

  I had such an amazing experience with the girls at E. Claire salon! They were so nice from the very beginning and made sure everything was exactly what I wanted. On the actual wedding day they did an amazing job with all of my bridesmaids and mothers that were getting their hair and makeup done and exceeded everyone's expectations! Thank you guys so much for making my wedding day awesome!

  The ladies at E. Claire did a phenomenal job at my wedding. They worked with me several times during the week leading up to it to make sure they knew exactly what look I wanted on the big day. The team arrived on the scene and were ready to work before I even arrived at the venue. They were professional, creative, and fun! Myself and the bridal party were completely blown away by how fabulous we all looked. I'm so glad Elizabeth and the ladies were able to be part of my big day, I recommend them whole-heartedly to everyone.

  Elizabeth Strusz from E. Claire Salon will put you at ease and make you radiate on your wedding day. Elizabeth colored and styled my hair for my wedding in September 2013. I had an outdoor wedding in Oklahoma, meaning I’d need to be prepared for any kind of weather; extreme heat, wind, thunderstorms, or perhaps tornados. The week leading up to the wedding had been exceptionally hot. My hair is long and very thick, and it would be too hot to wear it down. Using a few concept pictures that I provided, Elizabeth added her own creativity to design the perfect hairstyle that fit my personality and taste. It was a gorgeous low, loose, side bun with curls intricately pulled back into the bun for some flair. I wanted the color to be natural, something like what it looked like when I was younger before my hair started to turn dark and dull. Elizabeth exceeded my expectations!   I asked for Elizabeth to do my hair for my special day after seeing her do my regular haircut several times. She just seemed to cut and style my hair like no other stylist, that is why I knew I had to have her for my wedding. I really liked how she takes each job seriously and puts in individualized attention. In the months leading up to my wedding, she had me "pin" pictures on Pinterest that I was interested in, and then about a month prior, we sat down to come up with an exact hairstyle using the various techniques in various pictures. I felt so special having a personalized hair-do! I really liked being involved in the process and it was very easy to convey to her what I wanted. I also had her do a couple of my bridesmaids' hair as well and they turned out lovely. The girls just brought pictures on their phones of what they wanted and she was able to make it happen! I also really liked that she was flexible and was able to come do everyone's hair at my parents home (where the whole bride's side was getting ready that morning). Elizabeth is very personable and provided a calming voice in a high-stress time. I invited her to my wedding where she was standing by with hairspray and bobby pins in case we needed it. It really provided peace of mine and overall, she really made the morning go smoothly. My only regret is that I left the stupid veil in- I took it out after the ceremony, but looking back, I probably didn't even need it and really wish I could have shown off my hairstyle for longer earlier on. I am so lucky to have had her and definitely recommend her to anyone in the future!

  Wedding Hair and Makeup

  I do not recommend E.Claire for wedding hair and makeup. I booked them when I had heard good reviews and that they had a wedding package. At my first trial, I had makeup and hair completed. Overall, it went well and everyone was very nice. It was clear with the style that I chose that needed extensions. I have never worn them and when I bought them, I asked for a second trial. I wanted to see if I liked that style with my extensions. I also was paying for these trials and tipping. When I arrived at my second trial, the MUA started doing my makeup and I was told me that the stylist who did my first trial would be at a conference and someone else would be doing my hair. She then said it would be cheaper because of the new stylist’s level. I asked why I wasn’t told this prior to this appointment so I could make an appointment with the new stylist. I was then encouraged to continue with this trial so they could share the notes on my hair. Again, I had to pay for a trial with someone who wasn’t doing my hair for the wedding. I was clearly upset and after the trial I was offered a third trial with the new stylist for free. I was on the fence because I didn’t want to be difficult. However, when I left the salon my hair immediately fell out so I trusted my gut and had a third trial. At the next trial which was a week before my wedding, the new stylist struggled with my hair and I became emotional. She had the owner over twice to help her. After almost an hour, my hair was not close to being finished. The owner then asked my mom and me to go to the makeup area. She sat me down and it felt like I was getting called into the principal’s office. She told me that it was not normal to have three trials and by doing this many trials I was confusing her staff. I then started sobbing in the chair. I then to the best of my ability explained why I had three trials. Again, I didn’t want three trials. If I had been called prior to the second trial that the original stylist was not doing my hair, then I would have scheduled with the new stylist. Thank goodness I did have that trial and that didn’t happen on my wedding day. The owner then offered to do my hair for the trial so she could train the stylist and assured me that she would have her practice on mannequins. I appreciate that effort and she did a nice job with my hair. I was in the salon for 3 hours. However, by that point I no longer trusted them to do my hair. I contacted my normal stylist and last minute she agreed to do my hair and 4 bridesmaids. Finally, I asked three times for their plan and a schedule. I also asked how many they would be sending. I was told they would have three for sure and possibly send an intern as well.
  
  At the wedding, they did arrive on time and were extremely friendly. However, hair really struggled. One of my bridesmaids has short hair and they had to redo her hair three times. She sat in the chair for over an hour. Another bridesmaid had a simple braid and curls. Two stylists had to work on the hair together. They had to redo my MIL’s hair twice. My MUA did a nice job on my makeup. However, the other makeup artist struggled applying glue to apply eyelashes on another bridesmaid. Again, they were very nice, but after they left, the additional stylist that did my hair, redid hair for a bridesmaid and my MIL. She did hair for 6 out of the 8 people.
  
  Again, everyone was very nice. However, if you are going to offer wedding services then communication needs to be much better and they need to be prepared to do hair for brides and wedding parties.
