Expert Instructor - Very Charming - Great Results
Gonzalo had quite a challenge: choreograph 2 dances ( father/daughter and bride/groom) — one to Motown songs, one to country— and teach it to 3 dancers (bride a natural dancer — men not so much)....
He was amazing!! In just a few hours G taught them steps, choreographed the dances, and made it all so much fun! Most importantly, Gonzalo gave them the confidence to actually enjoy those first dances. Our daughter even commented that of all the many , many pre-wedding elements, the lessons at Dushor really made the wedding for them.

Gonzalo is a tremendous teacher. He choreographed the first dance for our wedding. He was patient and gave us the confidence we needed to shine on the dance floor. He came to our house for lessons and clearly explained all of the steps and turns and dips. This is the teacher you want to put together a wonderful dance for your wedding. We loved Gonzalo! He was friendly and funny and easy to work with. He assessed where we were to start and tailored his lessons to build on that. He was great at explaining concepts in different ways and showing us what he meant, working with each of us separately (he can both lead and follow with ease!) We met about once a week for about six months, in our home. The last couple weeks we met at our outdoor wedding venue and danced on the patio that would serve as our dance floor. We'll miss seeing him regularly! Everyone loved our first dance, and our second dance (a "flash mob" with our wedding party and friends) and Gonzalo was a big part of that success. Gonzalo is an amazing teacher and choreographer! He is such a humble and kind person, but above all he is patient! Not everyone can teach, but Gonzalo was given the ability to teach, whether it be groups of people or on an individual basis. You will be glad you partnered with Gonzalo! I would Give Gonzalo a 5.0! He leaves no stone unturned. He is very efficient!Gonzalo is an amazing teacher and choreographer! He is such a humble and kind person, but above all he is patient! DuShor's owners Dalene and Gonzalo choreographed our wedding dance-- it looked amazing. This is a wonderful dance studio for both complete beginners and advanced dancers. They offer lesson packages for all budgets (as little as $80 for a private crash-course) and interests. We did a traditional foxtrot, but some DuShor couples choose to do swing, salsa, or hybrid dances for their wedding. Some couples bring in their parents and wedding party to DuShor for general dance lessons (often as thank you gifts); some even have a group dance routine choreographed!
We continue to dance at DuShor on Friday nights; it keeps up the romance!

Mr. Gonzalo Zambrana choreographed the first dance of two of my children. He also choreographed my sister's and three other family member's first wedding dances. He is not only an exemplary teacher but also an excellent choreographer. What he does great is capture the emotions of the couples and helps them express it in dance form. I highly commend him for his patience and professionalism as well as his compassion to the art of dance.Mr. Gonzalo Zambrana choreographed the first dance of two of my children. If I could rate Gonzalo and the DuShor dance studio team a 6/5 for quality of service, value, and flexibility, I absolutely would! My wife and I decided to host a welcome night dance lesson instead of a rehearsal dinner and think this was one of our best (and easiest) wedding decisions.
The team of instructors ably moved a group of 50+ beginners through the basics of merengue, salsa, and standard wedding line dances. They were really flexible, adaptable, and even gave us extra instruction time at the end of the evening. On top of all that, they went out and purchased some light refreshments for us, served them for our guests to enjoy, and were happy to take care of clean-up. At no point did we feel rushed, uncertain, or like we were imposing on the DuShor dance team by lingering in the studio at the end of the dance lesson. Our guests had a fantastic time, we had great fun dancing, and it definitely set the mood for the wedding.
The only slight hiccup was in the e-mails; sometimes the DuShor server would get full, so we'd have to call to confirm things. But, this very minor issue aside, we had a fabulous time dancing, we learned some moves that we actually used at the wedding, and know that our guests were really happy at the end of the evening, and when they could dance with more confidence at the wedding. The space is large; the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; Gonzalo (the owner) is incredibly accommodating; and best of all, they put on a wonderful and fun experience for a GREAT price. We left a big tip–dancing with our guests at the DuShor Studio was so much better than we even imagined.

We took 5 private lessons with Peter and had a great time. My husband has never taken dance lessons before, but was able to pickup quickly. We were really pleased with the first dance Peter choreographed for us and we received compliments at our wedding. We gave a 4.5 on professionalism because the studio rescheduled our first class several times and there seemed to be confusion about who our instructor was going to be, but things ran smoothly after the first class.We took 5 private lessons with Peter and had a great time.
