I called The Lab, the morning of my wedding because my Original DJ bailed. Pete not only answered , he went through our entire wedding playlist and document to ensure it was a good time.
Pete and his team were extremely professional, punctual and a blast to work with. He played every song we asked for and more! Mixing up between SOCA, Hip Hop, dance and more he was able to keep the party going smoothly.
The ability for someone to pull off what they did in less than 10 hours notice. I would be very happy to book hire them and have months to plan.
People are still talking about our music and the dance floor!
This is a sure fire WIN for your DJ needs!

Y’all, my hubby Jason and I just tied the knot two weeks ago on the beach, and it was just perfect! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and DJ Pete and his buddy Flo showed up super early to set up that wireless sound system right on the beach —it sounded amazing, even with the waves crashin
Now, we had a bit of a pickle ‘cause our original planner got sick just three days before the big day. But thank goodness we booked Ari last minute! She stepped in like a champ and took care of everything . she made sure everything went off without a hitch!
If you want a team that’ll make your wedding a blast, you gotta go with Pete, Flo, and Ariana. They made our day unforgettable, and we can’t thank ’em enough! -

My husband and I were just married this past weekend. We used Pete, “The Lab” as our DJ and he and his team were FANTASTIC. Before the wedding he worked with me to develop a timeline and was willing to jump on a call or respond to my texts promptly. That was such a great help because he is an expert in timing things out perfectly for a wedding (and I am not – lol). He was so personable on our phone calls leading up to the wedding and his passion for DJ’ing weddings made me even more excited to work with him. On the day of the wedding, he used all of the songs I requested and also added in a great mix of oldies and contemporary music to go with our crowds taste. The sound quality inside and outside was fantastic. Our dance floor was completely filled from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Our guests raved about how great he was and we all had a blast. I think our legs still hurt from dancing so much. I cant say enough good things about him. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and he will make sure any couple getting married is at complete ease the day of the wedding. He works to see your vision and make it happen. 10/10 recommend Pete! -

Where do I even start?! DJ Pete Lam and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not only was Pete incredible as our DJ, but Ariana, who was our Day Of Coordinator, was such a lifesaver! From the moment we got in touch with them, everything felt super easy and smooth. Pete was quick to answer any questions we had (and I had a TON), and Ariana was there to help with the final details and make sure everything went perfectly on the day.
On our wedding day, Pete nailed the music! He had everyone up and dancing, from our friends to even the older relatives who never leave their seats. The transitions between songs were seamless, and he played all of our favorites while also keeping the energy up the entire night. Ariana was so helpful too, making sure the timeline stayed on track and coordinating with the other vendors. She was such a calming presence when things got hectic, and I couldn’t have done it without her.
If you want a team that’s going to take your wedding to the next level, DJ Pete Lam and Ariana are IT. They made our day so special, and I’m still hearing from guests about how much fun they had. Thanks, Pete and Ariana, for everything—you guys are the BEST! -

We had to replan our entire wedding in just under a week due to Helene demolishing WNC. We called DJ Pete on a rec from a friend and from the moment he answered the phone he was wonderful. He was more than prepared to get us ready to go within the first five minutes and made sure we had all the info we needed to feel comfortable and knew what to expect and what he would need from us. The process of sending him a timeline and the follow-up calls to ensure he had the songs in the right spots was incredibly helpful as those small details were what we were forgetting in the scramble.
On our wedding day, I didn't even meet DJ Pete until the end because of all the hustle and bustle. DJ Pete and his associate were AMAZING! The party began and didn't stop - they played crowd favorites, made announcements that our guests enjoyed and made us feel so special. I would absolutely recommend DJ Pete and his company to anyone and everyone. He helped us pull off the wedding of ours dreams in only a few days. We can't thank him enough - he's the best! -

DJ Pete was incredible! Our original dj had an emergency and DJ Pete stepped in and did an amazing job! He communicated with us, was responsive, was professional, and was accommodating! Our ceremony was on the beach and his equipment worked perfectly! At the reception everyone was dancing and enjoying the music! I highly recommend DJ Pete! It will be the best decision you make for your event! -

The best professional DJ i have ever seen. They are very flexible and they communicate very well. They asked questions and had ideas that we didn't think of. You could tell they knew what they were doing. The sound was superior. They had a setup ON THE BEACH that was crystal clear. We got them with 2 days notice. It was nothing short of a miracle. The reception was great also. They played what we asked for and they had a great playlist of there own . Job well done. -

DJ Pete proved to be an excellent choice for my recent wedding in Charleston! He demonstrated remarkable professionalism by arriving early to set up, skillfully coordinating with the preceding band, and coming to our rescue when our planned band for the "I Did" BBQ the following day abruptly canceled just 24 hours prior to the event.
With a diverse array of guests present at both occasions, DJ Pete managed to keep the music selection on point, even in the absence of specific direction from me... aka the party was bumpin yall.
Communication with Pete was effortless, both over the phone and in person. He thoughtfully brought his own lighting, perfectly tailored to the ambiance of the BBQ, and I couldn't find a single aspect to complain about.
Hire this man! You won't regret it! -

I'm so excited i finally get to leave a review here , soon as Peter said he's now on WeddingWire and The Knot , i wanted to make sure future Brides-to-be get a chance to see how great this company truly is!
We found Peter on another website , we had a brief phone meeting and he was booked immediately . Peter and Ariana were great to work with! They were very responsive during the planning process and accommodating during the wedding. The announcements were timely and the song selection was very appropriate. I didn't give much instruction as to what to play and yet Peter captured the audience and brought everyone on the dance floor and of course he was able to provide every song that we personally requested! Don't let the pricing fool you , they are very professional and GREAT at what they do .

Fantastic personal experience!
Peter and his wife Arianna personalized our music experience! They both went above and beyond to make our wedding so special! We didn’t ask for any of the extras they did for us, from the name boards used for the 360 Photo Booth, to downloading music based off our interests and playlists, Arianna even took her own photos (candid and amazing!) they made sure we were happy and catered to us through the entire evening! Our guests raved about the music, they definitely know how to play to a crowd! We had a mix of 20’s to 80’s and everyone enjoyed themselves! We are beyond thankful to Peter!
Arianna as we said went over and above with the 360 Photo Booth! Not only introducing people to it but showing them the ropes, she emailed our guests with their own videos but made sure to include her photos and videos she took herself that night! Personalized everything and honestly was the sweetest to our entire wedding party! I think she worried as much as we did about things and it showed! The bubbles were for our babies from Arianna! Just so perfect! Can’t rave enough about this power couple! We can not wait to have them host our next party! We also feel we gained friends!
Truly the best experience (and we all know planning a wedding is not fun) highly recommend
