  Finest Events is hands down the best wedding DJ service in the tri state area. Jonathan was amazing from the planning process to performing on our big day. He definitely knows how to get everyone participating on the dance floor & getting the party started!! He has top notch equipment and lighting options that will make your reception above and beyond. Highly recommend!

  Wedding DJ

  Jonathan from Finest Events was amazing! He was so easy to work with over zoom and email, he was quick to get back with any questions that we had, and even incorporated an auto clip from my husbands brother that couldn't be there. Also, I received so many compliments from the guests about the music. We really couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Highly recommend!

  Jonathan and his assistant Ted were incredible! They truly made us feel like Rockstar's at our wedding! From the music to lighting I can't say enough great things! If you're looking for a sign, look no further because I would hire Jonathan over and over again. Our entire wedding is still talking about how awesome the DJ was. Thank you again for making us feel so special!!

  Best. DJ. Period.

  Jonathan made our wedding something that people will continue to talk about for years to come. He is so full of life and truly takes pride in what he does. The energy he brought to the dance floor was crazy, the songs were on point and just the flow of the whole night was flawless! He brought what we thought was an impossible vision for our special night to life! He took care of our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and wedding reception all without a hitch. When you book him, take my advice and get the "dancing on a cloud" fog and sparklers! It makes amazing pictures for your first dance and the reaction you get from the guests is worth every penny!

  a month later everyone is still talking about the best DJ ever

  Johnathan from finest events was absolutely amazing! His music selection from cocktail hour to the final dance of the evening kept every guest engaged, dancing, and enjoying the party! Music can make or break a wedding, and music is only as good as the person or band playing it. Johnathan made the night extra special by playing a mix of wedding classics to specific requests which capped off our perfect day! In conjunction with his amazing music selection, he also provided up-lighting that went with the music which completely transformed our ballroom into something out of a movie! Before the wedding, Johnathan was extremely responsive when we had questions or requests and stuck to the script allowing for the event to flow seamlessly. The music, the sound quality, the lighting and the ability to lead the party makes Johnathan and finest events a no brainer.

  Awesome lighting (including up lighting that matched our wedding colors, as well as special effect lighting, a going along with beat of music.

  Very professional, organized, and passionate. Perfect person about making his clients event how they want it. Definitely able to make the crowd feel included and enthused regardless of age. Definitely every wedding that I have been to, (including mine), He was able to make it flow smooth with very little sitting down. Definitely worth every penny!!!!!

  Labor Day Weekend

  Jonathan was the DJ for our wedding reception & did the sound for our ceremony on December 2, 2017. He is hands down the best DJ around! He did so much to make our day even more special. The monogram, uplighting, & animated projection wall he did for our wedding were amazing. We wanted a winter wonderland wedding & he even made a snow fall animation around our monogram! Jonathan kept the party going all night. There were not many moments during the reception where people weren’t dancing & no one wanted to leave when it was over. I would recommend Jonathan to anyone, he is the best!

  Very responsive to my messages, considering i would send them at all hours with a ton of questions! Honestly, the easiest vendor we worked with out of everyone we booked for our wedding. Also, after the wedding was over, i had so many people compliment how fun Jonathan made the whole event and how awesome his music choices were! Loved the uplighting he provided.

We were worried about getting an older crowd engaged in dancing at our wedding but Jonathan worked his magic and our guests were jumping up to get on the dance floor without hesitation! He kept them engaged throughout the night and was an excellent DJ! Great value for the money considering all the extras and available options that he brings to the table! You will NOT be disappointed if you decide to go with Jonathan. I would go with him again in a heartbeat and will be recommending him to anyone I know getting married.

  Jonathan Mihellis could not have made our Wedding Day more perfect. He was incredibly professional, yet made every aspect of our Reception warm and personal. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire evening. Between the First Dances, the Parent Dances, and many other Family Traditions, Jonathan had the entire room engaged and ready to celebrate. We cannot Thank him enough for everything he did for us! I recommend Jonathan for any and every event you have. It will be a night you will never forget!

Our guests were on the dance floor the entire evening. Between the First Dances, the Parent Dances, and many other Family Traditions, Jonathan had the entire room engaged and ready to celebrate.
