I met Joey awhile back at Club Divine when I started djing. Since then I have had the opportunity to be mentored by,to watch live,to join in many events with Joey. When we decided to get married,I didn't plan on having a dj. I figured it was going to be smaller and considering I am a dj I just wasn't sure that there was a need. The Mrs. thought otherwise. She contacted Joey and unbeknownst to me hired him for our event. One of the best parts of our wedding was having Joey and Tanya there! The planning was easy even having made some last minute changes. Everything leading up to the event was taken care of and addressed in a timely manner.Communication was 100%. The Wedding event itself was flawless. He did the ceremony as well as the reception.Perfect sound and light set up. He kept us on schedule while keeping all the guest informed of everything going on. Also remembering to add 2 different dances that frankly we had forgotten about. All of the guests had a great time. The music was diverse for all ages and he kept the night moving. I will say it wasn't a traditional wedding at all but all in all I,we wouldn't change a thing. Big Thank you to the Homie DJ Joey A,Sonik Armada and his wife Tanya. People are put in our lives for specific reasons,I am thankful that all those years back I met Joey. He was meant to be there all these years and especially for our wedding!! As a DJ myself I highly recommend Joey A for any event that needs a dj! -

Where do we begin...we knew that the two top most important things at a wedding are DJ and food! We wanted someone that played great music but not the entirety of the song (as that can be boring and drown the dancing). Well we hit the jackpot with DJ Joey! We consulted with a few DJ's and knew right away he was the one. We started sending him songs we liked for our dance, questions, more songs we liked and he was always kind and responsive. He made us feel at ease when communicating about our special day. Then on the day of, he was there, set up, and I walked out and saw him...I was at ease. Everything was perfect! He had everyone dancing all night...the song selection was spot on and he basically had to kick us off the dancefloor at the end! We were told by many that this is the best wedding they have been to! DJ Joey is by far top notch and I would highly recommend him! -

Amazing 10/10
I originally thought dj just played music with speakers and anyone could do it bur after having DJ Joey A do our wedding I've learned how wrong I was. He helped make a time line for our wedding and then during the wedding he kept the crowd coming back and dancing all night long. We even had people crash our wedding from the venue next door because they heard how awesome of a dj our room had. I'll definitely use him again and recommend him to everyone -

We were very familiar with Joey since my brother in law hired him for his wedding and he was AMAZING!!
When we were picking our date and venue I knew I had to hire him! He did not disappoint either!! Not only did Joey rock our party and had our guests on the dance floor all night, he was very professional!
Working with him was so stress free! He took charge and kept our time line on schedule.and communicated with all my vendors to make sure the entire night went smoothly. Do not look elsewhere HE is the BEST one ONLY wedding Dj that I could ever recommend!

Let me start by saying when you hire Joey, he instantly becomes the best decision you've made for your wedding. He oozes kindness and compassion, calming all nerves and easily making the music planning process seem like a breeze. He's upbeat and fun, keeping the crowd dancing all night to the point where people are practically begging him not to stop playing. He's professional, on top of communication and his pricing is incredible. We can't recommend him enough and would gladly refer him to any and everyone for literally any event. Hands down one of the best vendors in the game and a decision you won't regret. Thanks again Joey for making our wedding the best night ever. Your'e amazing!!! -

We got to experience Joey at our friends wedding two years before we even got engaged and I immediately told my now husband that whenever we got married Joey was going to be our dj! Once we finally got engaged, I immediately messaged him and checked on his fall availability for the following year so that we could pick a weekend that worked with his schedule too! I’ve referred him to so many of my friends and clients and love when I get to go to a wedding knowing he’s going to be there because you know the dance floor will be packed and the wedding will be so much fun!!! -

Out of all of the decisions we made about our wedding, picking Joey A to be our DJ was one of the best. I've been to many weddings over the years and DJ Joey was by far the best DJ I've experienced. He knows how to read the room and play exactly what is needed to make your night special. I had several guests reach out to tell me how good of a job he did. I highly recommend getting his short video package as he does a great job capturing the essence of your wedding day. He is easy to stay in communication with so you will have one less thing to worry about before your wedding. You will love your choice of picking DJ Joey! -
