  Calvin brings the PARTY!

  In the months leading up to our wedding, Calvin was always available to toss around ideas and address any concerns we had. We talked to him about how we weren't looking for traditional wedding music, we wanted more of a nightclub feel since our venue was... a nightclub. He totally got it and kept everyone dancing the entire reception! We got so many compliments from our guests on our awesome music and our DJ! Everyone had a blast. Hiring Calvin was an amazing idea.

  In the months leading up to our wedding, Calvin was always available to toss around ideas and address any concerns we had. He totally got it and kept everyone dancing the entire reception! We got so many compliments from our guests on our awesome music and our DJ! Everyone had a blast. Hiring Calvin was an amazing idea.

  As the mother of the bride/wedding "manager", I know a wedding DJ is probably the one vendor who can truly make or break your reception. If they’re great, the dance floor will be packed and your wedding will be remembered as the most awesome party. But a terrible wedding DJ can not only bore your guests to tears, but also shock and offend. My communication with Mr. Calvin Duncan consisted of emails. And, sad to say...I was the one slacking. I mean, I had read his awesome reviews, listened to him "on the cloud" and instinctively trusted his ability to get everyone up from their seats. You know that saying "you get what you pay for" is absolutely not the case when it comes to Calvin. Other Dj's were quoting prices 2 to 3x's his pricing AND he was able to provide beautiful and affordable lighting that made guest go..."OMG..WOW" when they saw the space. I have to admit that the guest list was "20 single females to 1 single male"...unless you wanted to count the 12 and under crowd. This could have been a major disaster. But, Calvin managed to play music that appealed to all ages. And, when the females tired of dancing with each other and began to head to their seats, Calvin put on "group" dance music that you can do without a partner...getting the ladies back on the floor. He just smiled and went along with my request to cut the boring "first dance" short and put on some Salsa music (unbeknownst to the bride and groom) and he went with the flow if anyone asked for other request. On a personal note, he has the warmest winning smile that makes you feel right at ease. On a professional note...he is very professional. And, I'm going to tell everybody "he's the man, he's the man"!!!

  LOVED DJ Godzilla. Everyone had raving reviews about the music and he was SO sweet to work with. He had never DJ'd at our reception venue before so he went on a scouting trip to figure out whatever DJ-y type stuff he needed.

  Calvin is the best! He DJed my intimate wedding reception and he was amazing! My guests are still telling me what a great DJ he was and how much fun they had dancing. He did an awesome job throughout the evening, keeping the pace slow and mellow during the cocktail hour and dinner and then playing upbeat music after. He really helped the event feel like a fun party which is exactly what I wanted. He did an incredible job and I'm so happy I chose him to be the DJ for our special day!

  I planned a destination vow renewal and hired DJ Godzilla as recommended by the hotel that hosted my event. Contract and contacting him was easy, especially since I lived in another state. He quickly responded to my emails and text messages. He played all the songs that were on my playlist. He came early to set up. He's very good for your event

  Dj Godzilla came highly recommended , and I have to say he did not disappoint, I was very pleased. He was friendly, polite, very professional, an overall very nice guy. I Definitely without a doubt will use him again.

  I chose him based on reviews and pricing. I wanted someone who does their own work and doesn't contract it out, so I know the reviews were about him. We we so pleased with his professionalism, help guiding the ceremony, and for playing all the songs on my request list. I am keeping his number to use him again! He was above and beyond my expectations!

  The corporate event was a military dine out. DJ Godzilla played military music during the formal part of the dinner. When the dance floor opened, DJ Godzilla got the party started. It was a great event. He was professional at all levels.

  Calvin, DJ Godzilla, was such a great DJ!!!! So easy to work with. Very professional. Very upbeat, interactive, got the crowd dancing and having a blast. He's very personable and prices are super reasonable. He was extremely flexible and willing to try whatever we wanted. Upfront and helpful when trying to plan.   We hired DJ Godzilla to DJ our annual Halloween Party which usually includes around 80 guests. This is our 11th year of having the party and DJ Godzilla was the best DJ we have had over those 11 years! He played great dance music and listened to my requests of the type of music our guests would like. The guests kept commenting on how great the DJ was and the music. He knows how to get the crowd on the dance floor! You would be so tired and want to get off the dance floor when the song ended, but the next song was so great, you just kept dancing! I highly recommend DJ Godzilla!

  Calvin/DJ Godzilla was amazing! We booked him for our ceremony and reception with up-lighting and everything turned out the way I had hoped. He played all of our requests along with many great songs that kept our guests coming back to the dance floor. We could not have asked for a better DJ. He was professional and friendly, I have only positive things to say about him. His pricing is extremely reasonable and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ in Las Vegas. Thanks for such a great experience!

  DJ Godzilla was awesome. He knew how to read that crowd exactly and played great music throughout the night. His sound system is 100% legit and he knows how to match beats very well. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to have a great wedding with the awesome DJ and MC!

We started off the wedding and we asked him to play just some chill music and he hit the spot perfectly. I told him that as the younger people started getting on the dance floor into the night to play more club like music, and he made the dance floor explode. People were having such a great time, he was reading the crowd perfectly and always kept people dancing and moving. Calvin transitioned from wedding to party effortlessly. People were raving about him at the end of the night. DJ Godzilla was always prompt in responding to my communications which helped relieve some of the stress of planning as we live outside of Vegas. I provided a list of songs I wanted played and he did just that and more. The sound quality was excellent and he continued to check in to make sure the reception itinerary was flowing according to our plan. I honestly can't remember how the food was because my husband and I couldn't stay off of the dance floor. We loved how DJ Godzilla had a sixth sense of really being in tune with the crowd and knowing just what to play next to keep the party going. It is quite evident that he really loves what he does and that love shined through on our celebration, leaving us and our friends and family with a lifetime of memories. Many, many thanks Mr. DJ!!!

  Calvin was the beeeeeessst! Everyone raved about him at our wedding. I told him the type of music we wanted, and let him take control. He played all the songs that I put on my must play list and others that I should have put on it! he had the crowd moving before dinner, totally fun and worth the money. Which was a good deal to begin with.

  As the mother of the bride/wedding "manager", I know a wedding DJ is probably the one vendor who can truly make or break your reception. If they’re great, the dance floor will be packed and your wedding will be remembered as the most awesome party. But a terrible wedding DJ can not only bore your guests to tears, but also shock and offend. My communication with Mr. Calvin Duncan consisted of emails. And, sad to say...I was the one slacking. I mean, I had read his awesome reviews, listened to him "on the cloud" and instinctively trusted his ability to get everyone up from their seats. You know that saying "you get what you pay for" is absolutely not the case when it comes to Calvin. Other Dj's were quoting prices 2 to 3x's his pricing AND he was able to provide beautiful and affordable lighting that made guest go..."OMG..WOW" when they saw the space. I have to admit that the guest list was "20 single females to 1 single male"...unless you wanted to count the 12 and under crowd. This could have been a major disaster. But, Calvin managed to play music that appealed to all ages. And, when the females tired of dancing with each other and began to head to their seats, Calvin put on "group" dance music that you can do without a partner...getting the ladies back on the floor. He just smiled and went along with my request to cut the boring "first dance" short and put on some Salsa music (unbeknownst to the bride and groom) and he went with the flow if anyone asked for other request. On a personal note, he has the warmest winning smile that makes you feel right at ease. On a professional note...he is very professional. And, I'm going to tell everybody "he's the man, he's the man"!!!

  If you need a DJ, we HIGHLY recommend DJ GODZILLA!!! We loved him! ! He was the absolute highlight of our white themed pre-wedding party at Turnberry Towers by the pool. He was extremely professional, played the best music, has a great personality, and kept the party going consistently strong. People are still talking about what a great DJ he was - several people didn't want to leave the party because he made it so fun and the best part - it was a party of all ages!!!! We are already talking about planning another party just so we can use his services again.

  Calvin/DJ Godzilla was wonderful. I found Calvin/DJ Godzilla on Wedding Wire and hired him not only as our DJ, but to provide lighting at the reception.
  
  Most of our communication was via text, and he was always responsive and easy to work with. Calvin visited our wedding reception location ahead of time to get a feel for the layout. On the day of the wedding I did not talk to Calvin until my husband and I made our grand entrance at the wedding reception (we had already agreed on this simply because we were so busy that day). My first impression as I stood outside the Ballroom at Excalibur waiting to make our grand entrance was Wow....our Ballroom looks fabulous. Both my hubby and I were very impressed. Calvin was the Master of Ceremonies and ran the show the entire evening with perfection.
  
  We were very vague with our playlist, simply because we became so busy in the months before the wedding, and didn't have time to properly put together a list. Calvin took the songs we did send and perfected our wedding reception playlist. He was wonderful and made our evening a hit. Our guests were so impressed with the lighting and with Calvin.
  
  Thanks again Calvin for being part of our special day, and making it a hit!
