Jon and the District DJ team were fantastic to work with throughout our wedding process. They are thorough, detailed and committed to giving you everything you want. I can't say enough good things about how Jon worked with us to have the perfect music for our ceremony and reception, and the Photo Booth was a big hit! We highly recommend you book them for your event. -

Jon is the best DJ! We had an engagement party back in February and needed a diverse blend of Indian music and American. Jon killed it. He was super easy to work with, showed up for set up early, and made sure to keep the party going on the dance floor. People still talk about how amazing the music was a month later. -

Great personality, Accommodating, and above all, is an Amazing DJ
Considering you typically only plan a wedding once (or suppose to) it's daunting to try and pick out the good from the bad. Since the first interview we had with Jon it's been nothing but great. He'll send you an online portal to fill out to ensure your ceremony and reception is well-stocked. Nearing the time for the wedding, you meet with Jon again to go-over the timeline/song matchup. Whether you want to plan each song or let Jon 'work-his-magic'. Both my family and my wife's are very big into dancing and told Jon to keep the music A-tier. The dance floor was pumping all night long, from songs that the older crew knew at the start of the night and more 20-30y/o music as the night concluded. The DJ really does set the pace for how your wedding day/night goes and Jon made this night flawless and one to never forget. Overall, Jon has a great personality, very accommodating, and above all, is an amazing DJ.
Also, if you are thinking of getting the up-lighting, do it, the pictures are phenomenal and really makes your whole venue feel included when the music starts playing. (No pictures of the up-lighting until the photographer gets back to us!)

Jon was an amazing DJ for our wedding! He played a great mix of music, which included all of the songs we wanted played, and he had people dancing all night. We can’t recommend him enough for any other wedding! He was incredibly easy to book with, very nice, and got us set up with a great acoustic guitarist as well in Dan McGuire for our pre-reception and cocktail hour. Book with Jon, you won’t be disappointed! -

Jon was fantastic, I gave him a genre and he knew all the hits to play. My friends could not stop telling me how great the DJ was. One of my friends asked for his card and wants him for their wedding. 10/10, if I ever need a DJ again I will definitely be going back to District DJ. -

Over the past 2 years, I have given away two daughters in marriage and in both cases we have used District DJ nor did we ever consider looking at others after our first wedding. We used District DJ for our Photo Booth at our Navy-themed wedding. The booth was EVERTHING I wanted--had an attendant, had clear pictures, provided physical copies of the photos (as well as digitally sent copies), and provided 4x6 prints that are suitable for framing. The Photo Booth was awesome, and the nautical props were spot-on perfect!! Our guests had a blast with the booth, it was a huge hit with everyone. Jon and Shelby were helpful, professional and responsive to questions, setup, and any changes. Jon designed a fantastic template for the prints.
Thanks to them for providing the great service and enhancing our wedding reception! -

We are so fortunate that we found Jon and District DJ for our wedding reception. From the moment that we first contacted Jon to inquire about his availability through the time our event ended, the communication and execution were flawless. He is incredibly organized, flexible, and aims to incorporate every detail into the event. We loved his state of the art equipment, impressive up-lighting and interactive templates for setting up all of your event details.
Aside from using him for DJ services, he also provided a live guitarist (Dan McGuire) and Photo Booth. Everything was a huge hit with our guests.
We recommend District DJ and we are looking forward to any future event so we can work with Jon and the team again in the future. -

Jon was incredible from the second we had our first call with him to the end of the very last song at the wedding. He is so responsive and professional, and we knew exactly what we were getting with our DJ package. He's just so good at his job, too - I had many people come up to me at the wedding to tell me how amazing our DJ was (and I completely agreed). Jon made our reception an absolute blast. Hire him!! -

Jon was one of the best parts about our wedding! He was extremely accommodating and allowed us to have a say in every detail through out the event. The planning forms were very easy to use and Jon was always willing to hop on a call if we had any questions. We really liked being able to build a custom Spotify playlist, which made the planning process that much easier. Additionally, we went with the photo booth option, which did not disappoint. The custom sleeves, props, etc. were one of the most talked about details from the wedding. All in all, we highly recommend District DJ and are so happy that we decided to use them for our wedding. -

Our priority was having all our guests on the dance floor all night, and Jon made sure it happened. From the first song to the very last, the dance floor was PACKED!! He played the types of songs we added to our planning sheet and it was perfect. We allowed requests (you don’t have to) and when someone requested a song on our “do not play” list, he checked with me to see if I would let it play or not. He also got the okay on the first song and what song I wanted for the last song during the night which made me SO happy. Jon was AMAZING every single step of the way and we feel so lucky to have had him as our wedding DJ.
