  Maggie was the best!

  We used DestinationWeddings.com to assist us in planning our Destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We went with this company as I attended a wedding in 2018 in Mexico where my friend used the same company and they were really pleased with their experience and I thought the wedding was great! We started speaking with our planner Maggie Elles at DestinationWeddings in January 2023 and just had our wedding in January 2024. I would highly recommend Maggie. We gave her a budget and described our group vibe and she was very helpful in assisting us picking out our venue. We met with her often before signing our contract with our venue and then met with us every time we would have zoom meetings with our rep from our resort. I felt that since we had Maggie, that she would be able to decipher and articulate back to us what to expect, read the fine print, and answer any questions we had, which she did wonderfully. I feel like having a wedding planner, especially for a foreign destination was extremely helpful and they truly became an advocate for us. Maggie herself was also very responsive - which is what we needed. I also liked going through DestinationWeddings as they over promos on certain resorts so we ended up getting money back! We had a great wedding and have no regrets about using DestinationWeddings.

  Planning with Melissa from Destination Weddings!

  We worked with Melissa from Destination Weddings and she was AMAZING. She was extremely kind, responsive and genuine. She spoke from experience regarding her destination wedding and you could feel that she truly wanted to do everything she could to organize the wedding of your dreams. Melissa helped us find an off site venue, a resort that fit our requests, she provided pricing from a variety of sources and was extremely quick to respond while even answering emails on evenings and weekends! If you are looking to plan a destination wedding, Melissa is your girl!!

  Karen was amazing! Her patience with setting up all our guests arrangements was beyond professional. Not 1 guests had anything negative to say except how they drove her crazy and she worked with them with so much patience and professionalism.   My WONDERFUL Experience with Amy Boyce from destinationweddings.com

  I was invited to a destination wedding which is a new experience for me and to be honest I was a bit nervous about the whole process. The travel specialist handling this wedding is Amy Boyce with destinationweddings.com. As soon as I started going through the link to the event, I was immediately met with a personal letter from Amy describing the process step by step which set me at ease and got me started. I was still wary because this is several months away and a fairly expensive trip. I went ahead with the reservation and held my breath. The following day Amy didn't just email me regarding the progress of my reservation and my room selection availability; she actually called me. I had so many questions and concerns and she addressed each and every one of them. She has continued to stay in touch and we have spoken, texted and emailed a half dozen times because she is trying to make sure I have a perfect experience going someplace site unseen. I can't tell you how her kind disposition, willingness to take her time with me and availability have made me even more excited than I thought possible about this trip. She is amazing and if you have the pleasure of working with her, you will not be disappointed.

  Kellie was absolutely AMAZING! Everything I needed she was there for even when We decided to postpone our wedding due to travel advisories. She communicated the update to guests and helped them get their refunds quickly. 10/10 would recommend!

  I saw a lot of good reviews from a couple of different people and I kept seeing Andrea coots so I requested her! Let me tell you I couldn’t be happier with that decision! She is super professional, responsive and just made me feel confident with all my decisions! We communicate through email! I’m a shy talker but I do wish I spoke to her to thank her for everything! What she did was ask my ideal wedding location, about how many ppl would attend and if we would like a child free location. Then she gave me locations (I picked Sandos playacar I have a review on them if your interested) and the pricing for us and our guest! Then we confirmed and signed a contract! And boom we were in business! She communicated with my resort until I was assigned a resort wedding coordinator! But still checked on us after that! Destination Wedding is amazing! They give you a wedding website for your guest to log in, check out the resort, read cute little groom/bride about us bio and book their stay, and the best part YOU CAN MAKE PAYMENTS! My wedding was a year away and a lot of guest were making payment which I loved! If I had any question or trouble all I did was email Andrea and I would get a email right away!!! She also replied not just to me but my guest as well! I was also able to get alot of discount using them and special deals! Example all my guest and my self had free pick up to and from the Cancun airport! My husband and I were able to get a FREE upgrade for our pickup! And our resort gave us 2000 off our wedding decorations for using them! Which was amazing ❤️❤️❤️

  The best decision we made while planning our destination wedding

  DestinationWeddings.com became the absolute best solution to my indecisiveness when we started planning our destination wedding after getting engaged in September 2022. We started our process by watching a million and five resort walk-throughs and destination wedding videos before our brains exploded from all the resort and location options... how could we ever choose and trust that we made the right decision? That's when I joined any destination wedding group I could find on Facebook and how I stumbled upon DW.com! I took the chance and clicked "Start Planning". I filled out the online questionnaire and was promptly contacted and then assigned the lovely Melissa Salgado-Shah. She really took the time to understand what my Fiance and I wanted in a location and what we wanted to budget for our guests. She sent us options to scan through and we eventually nailed it down to Dreams Dominicus La Romana and we could not be more thankful. Melissa was always extremely attentive and quick to respond to emails and calls. She truly cares about her wedding couples, as well as each and every one of their friends and family. Melissa was always extremely attentive and quick to respond to emails and calls. She truly cares about her wedding couples, as well as each and every one of their friends and family.   Our experience with Andrea Coots at DW was truly the best!! From the time she was assigned to us, until we arrived back from our honeymoon, she was very responsive, informative and made our overall planning experience great.
  
  My husband and I were indecisive on literally everything. We initially reached out as we were interested in a destination wedding, which we later opted against for family/health reasons. Andrea was very understanding and then began helping us plan our honeymoon, which took a while to decide on. She always responded quickly with information and answered our many questions so kindly.
  
  The resort we ultimately went with (El Dorado Royal in Riviera Maya) was incredible and we are so glad we went through DW to book everything. They can set up (price-saving) bundles for **exclusive direct** flights, hotel and reliable transportation to/from destination so that everything is taken care of. My husband and I were able to focus on each other and enjoying our trip, rather than be worried we forgot to plan for something.

  We booked our wedding through Janice Gwilliam who was our destination wedding travel specialist. She was wonderful to work with! She helped us pick the perfect resort for our wedding, and she took care of all our guests bookings and questions. Whenever I had a question or concern, she was available to assist us and walk us through everything. She made the process seamless and I highly recommend working with her!!

  We used Destination Weddings for our wedding at Renaissance Island in Aruba on 11/10/2023 and had the pleasure of working with Sue Allen. From the first email exchange with Sue, we knew we were in the BEST hands. Sue was a dream to work with. She answered all of our questions, was extremely responsive (even on weekends and late nights), and went above and beyond to accommodate our guests. We had absolutely no idea about all the details involved in planning a destination wedding, but we were quickly reassured by Sue that she had everything under control. She walked us through the entire process with patience and kindness. Some of our guests booked their rooms extremely late (the week before the wedding) and Sue did everything she could to accommodate them. We also had guests that were traveling from outside the US and didn't speak English, Sue was helpful and patient with them. She provided excellent service and made the planning process a breeze for us. If it wasn't for Sue's expertise, I'm not sure we could have accomplished bringing together 70 people in Aruba.
