Lauren with Dear August Photographer took our vision for our wedding photos and captured something so much more. Our wedding day became so much easier and special because of her! She was willing to get in the water with us, go on hikes, and even was kind enough to remember snacks! The pictures that were captured were not just photos, but clearly told the story of the most perfect day of our lives. Every moment was captured in a way that told our story, showed us as who we really were together. Lauren is EXCELLENT at capturing candid photos throughout the day, but truly excelled in posing us naturally to where the photos did not look/feel forced at all. Lauren made us comfortable, while also ensuring she was capturing what she needed to. The pictures we received from Lauren far exceed every expectation that we had. Lauren is truly incredible at what she does, and I wouldn’t have chose anyone else to capture our day. Dear August Photography will capture your day though your eyes, tell your story, and give you pictures that will last a lifetime. I could not recommend Lauren more! -

October wedding!
From the moment we booked, Lauren went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera — even my husband, who usually hates photos, couldn’t stop saying how easy and fun the whole experience was.
On our wedding day, Lauren captured everything — the big moments, the quiet ones, and all the emotion in between. Every photo feels alive, like you can step right back into that day. Our gallery was delivered quickly and beautifully edited, and we honestly can’t stop looking through it.
If you’re looking for someone who’s not only insanely talented but also kind, professional, and truly invested in your story — look no further. We’re beyond grateful for these memories that we’ll treasure forever. Lauren did my maternity, engagement, and wedding photos and I’m just blown away by her and her talent! My husband hates photos and has no idea what he’s doing but she guided him and told us what to do and the photos turned out so amazing! She’s great at capturing everything but she’s really amazing at capturing beautiful candid moments. She is also so incredibly sweet and fun so the whole experience is really enjoyable even for the men who don’t like photos lol! She’s also pretty quick to get your photos back and sends a sneak peek right away!Dear August Photography's reply:

We had the most amazing experience with Dear August Photography! She did our engagement photos at Corona Del Mar beach at sunset, and every moment felt magical. From the start, her energy was incredible she made us feel so comfortable and brought out our natural personalities. She has such an amazing eye and clearly knows what she’s doing. Every pose and angle felt effortless, and she took her time to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell she cares about her clients and her craft. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, more beautiful than we ever imagined. We can’t recommend her enough! If you’re looking for someone professional, talented, and genuinely fun to be around, she’s the one. Thank you so much Lauren!
