  Justin 'DJ JAS' did a fabulous job at our wedding at my Uncle's estate in Montecito on July 20, 2018. He was great to work with- providing sound for our ceremony, reception and the after-party. He had appropriate mics for the different parts of our wedding, i.e. wireless for the ceremony and hand-held for the speeches, as well as software on his website that made it very easy to coordinate what music we wanted and when. He was communicative about his needs and expectations and worked with our coordinator the day off to pull off a flawless event! So grateful! <3

  Pete is great. We were referred to him by one of the people at the hotel that we were having our wedding. He asked us to meet so he could get a feel about us and what we would want. He gave us some paperwork to fill out so he could try to customize everything to us. We met again about a week before the wedding to finalize all the customary songs that we wanted and he was awesome. He did a special announcement when we entered for all of our grooms men and brides maids, which was hilarious. Also everyone was asking about him saying he did a great job. I was overly happy with the job that he did and got things running smoothly.

  One year later ...
  Pete was not great - he was AWESOME! A year later and I still can see in my mind's eye how that night went. Ours was a multi-cultural wedding. And he handled the whole event quite well! He helped us figure out how to plan the night - he even had us play a game! He was able to get everybody engaged the whole evening. He took care of everything - even organizing the buffet line so that not everybody was rushing for the food. Thank you very much, Pete, for making our evening wonderful! Pete did more than take care of the music. He took care of the flow of the whole evening. We really didn't even have to worry about anything because the whole event was in very capable hands!

  One year later ...

  Pete was amazing!! You dont just get a DJ when you hire him you get a true friend. He is very friendly and will help you out with anything you need. He had the whole party laughing and dancing all night it was so perfect i couldn't of asked for a better wedding day or a better DJ! I would for sure recommend pete to a friend! I would recommend him to anyone he know how to take the edge off and make you feel like you have nothing to worry about. Not only did he do the music he went beyond and out of his way to see if there was anything else he could do for John and i before and after the wedding! He is the best DJ ever!!!

  As a planner, I am always aware of the importance of having other quality vendors working an event with you. I am so thankful to have worked with Pete from Daye Ja Vu' entertainment. He responded to my request for services in a prompt manner by scheduling a meeting with my clients immediately. He was also very quick and detailed in his reports back to me as a planner. In the time leading up to the event, he would call me with questions, showing me that he was hard at work on the couple's big day. I cannot stress how important it is to find a dj that grants that much attention to the details. During the event, he was on time, professional looking, and friendly. He played an assortment of music that really got the crowd dancing. He was even flexible to make special requests. At no time did he seem full of himself or cheesy (my two biggest pet peeves from dj's). He made my job so much easier. I am happy to say that he has gone to the very tip top of my referral list. - Kelly Box with Off Your Shoulders party planning.

  Pete was fantastic to work with. Great attitude, happy guy, genuinely glad to help make everything perfect. I work with a lot of dj's and Pete was by far the best experience for me. He really seemed happy to be there from start to finish. I can't imagine you can go wrong if you go with Pete Daye!

  Wow! Daye Ja Vu Entertainment is the whole package and so much more! From the beginning Pete was very attentive to emails and texts. Always replied quickly to questions. Met with us in person to help with song choices and great ideas for the Reception. I changed a few things just a few days before. He called and worked the timeline over again. On the day of the Wedding our Wedding Organizer stood us up. Pete went above and beyond his emcee job. He was helping transform the ceremony area to the reception area. He kept the photographer and video guys queued on when events were taken place. In our eyes he saved the day! Thank you so much Pete and Day Ja Vu!

  If you are needing a DJ for your upcoming wedding - look no more ! Call Pete as fast as you can and book early ... His professionalism is top notch. His attention to every detail is amazing. We didn't worry about a thing with Pete in charge. He helped in getting both families dancing, laughing and interacting during the reception. He took the time to get to know our daughter and her future husband. It wasn't a reception in a box - or a CD player just being played. It was a well thought out event with so many personal touches - that everyone had a fantastic time. You can cut corners in other areas but trust me don't cut corners here.   Pete was absolutely amazing, he had wonderful ideas, fun ways to get the crowd involved and to keep their interest and excitement! It was very calming to know that no matter what he had it handled. I will most definitely use him for our anniversary parties and events. Pete made me feel like I was the only bride he was working with and was very accepting of random texts at random times answering any and all of my questions. Pete, you are wonderful and thank you!

  Pete swooped in and helped us at the last minute. Planning my wedding was difficult, given our budget, so booking vendors was done at the last minute as most need a deposit upfront. Pete was gracious and worked with my husband and I to ensure that our day was the best it could be. From the first meeting, he promised me that all would go smoothly with him on board and that put this nervous bride at ease. When our piano music fell through at the last minute because of an untuned piano, Pete also worked with me to play music during our ceremony. He did a fantastic job and kept or guests entertained. Many thanks to you, Pete and God bless!

  Peter Daye was incredible! He did such a phenomenal job reading the crowd, pin-pointing perfect songs to keep the wedding reception lively and fun. We only gave him a short list of songs to play and he was able to keep everyone moving & shaking with his selections at our wedding. He also provided the ceremony music and the cocktail hour music. Those, like the reception, were perfectly executed. Not only did the groom and I really appreciate and enjoy his talent...I continue to have people ask about his services. He was instrumental in making our day memorable, and I am SO THANKFUL we utilized his services. Not to mention, he was always quick to respond to questions or emails when I contacted him the weeks prior, even when I had to make changes. He was patient and forthcoming with ideas to make our reception creative and fun. Everything with him was seamless and perfect from beginning to end.
  He is a "master of the microphone". During the wedding party introductions he gave a brief bio about each member as they came out..There were some really funny moments that everyone enjoyed. He has a unique approach which my husband and I liked, he wasn't stuffy and he didn't make the night about him. We got alot of compliments and would recommend his services to anyone.

  Peter was amazing to work with. Our original DJ cancelled on us at the last minute, just a week before our wedding and Peter stepped in and started working on it the same day. My family & friends had some special requests and he was able to fulfill all of them. He kept our wedding on track and everything went smoothly. He was funny, professional and so easy to work with, even the photographer was cracking up.
  Everybody talked very highly of him and he made it a fantastic day/ evening for us. He really knew what he was doing and made it seem effortless.
  His bridal introductions were well received and I had never seen that approach, but it was so memorable and the newlywed game he came up with was hysterical! Our guests loved it!! My sister is getting married next year and has already talked about hiring Peter.
  We couldn't have been more happier.

  I must say i was more than impressed by his preparation for our big day on Oct 19th, 2013.
  His preparation made our reception flawless!! We started out with a grand entrance where he introduced every member of the wedding party, then paused and told a brief story of how my wife & I had met and what brought us together, which captured all five of our previous years prior to marriage into one great entrance !!
  Not only was Pete the DJ, he was the host and life of the party. He had planned an anniversary dance for all the couples, that quickly turned into a big hit when we had my grandparents, as well as my wife’s still dancing. Two couples at 50+ years of marriage was not only inspiring for me and my new wife, but made us proud that our grandparents had such wonderful marriages.
  The winning couple (my grandparents) was then asked to give some words of advice to us on our new marriage. The words were not only inspiring to us but also everyone attending the reception. Pete made it memorable for everyone. We also played the shoe game , a newlywed game inspired event which was also another crowd favorite and a ton of fun for me and my wife!!
  Overall I could not have been more pleased with his services.

  Wedding Ceremony and Reception - Stockyards, Fort Worth, TX 8/24/13
  
  I was referred to Pete by my venue, and boy did he come through! He was very helpful, and played an instrumental part in the planning and creative process. He was extremely professional and easy to work with. He provided us with a customized timeline and suggestions each step of the way. I truly appreciated his experience and expertise in making sure things went smoothly. Pete also provided the music for the ceremony as well as the reception. The style was extremely traditional and formal for the ceremony. That’s where he shined. Everything was on cue and was presented in an elegant manner. Throughout the reception, Pete's true talent and experience was exceptionally evident. He managed to keep the timeline going efficiently, as well as all of the guests moving and shaking the whole night. I still receive compliments months after the event regarding Pete and his ability to entertain and host, while he kept the guests laughing and smiling. He made the whole process, from beginning to end, a fun and memorable experience. In closing, I will have to say he isn't just merely a D.J., but truly a "Master of Ceremonies." I would totally refer Pete Daye to anyone looking for entertainment in their next event. We all had an absolute blast! Thanks so much, Pete!

  Peter from Daye JaVu Entertainment was absolutely AMAZING! He's not only flexible and fun to work with, but he's also professional and makes wedding planning less stressful! He did a wonderful job of the bridal party introductions and creating a bio of my husband and I and then elegantly putting it into words before he announced our introduction. He even put it to music, which was a fabulous touch!! He communicated personally with my wedding coordinators to make sure they were on the same page, so I didn't feel like I was the middle man and having to relay messages from one person to another. Peter did such a wonderful job keeping the party going! I received so many compliments about how the DJ was awesome! I love that he had all of the songs that I requested and he also made the planning process so much easier with his planning guide. I was not at all stressed out about letting Peter take over the music, announcements, etc. He would definitely be my #1 choice in DJ's when I need one at another celebration :) THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, PETE!!

  he harasses people on their personal blogs. he likes to give out history lesion's and hell people they are stupid and a lying ass sucker when in fact he knows nothing at all about what he is talking about. heard he is even stares at young children's when working and gives people the creeps. pray for anyone who gives this weirdo a try and please keep your eyes on him the entire time. not trustful.
