  BEST wedding photographer!

  Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with!! She did a great job of making us feel comfortable and guiding us throughout the entire wedding photography process. She is also amazing with people from different ethnic backgrounds. We come from an Ethiopian ethnic background, and we were very surprised with how well she was able to work with not only us but our family during our wedding at Shadow Creek. Danielle is extremely knowledgeable about all things relating to wedding photography, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to shoot our wedding. Our photos turned out to be soooo beautiful!!! Thank you Danielle!!

  Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with!! She did a great job of making us feel comfortable and guiding us throughout the entire wedding photography process.   Danielle was such an integral part of our wedding day. Her amazing personality kept us laughing, and her professionalism and efficiency allowed us to really enjoy our wedding day, while still capturing incredible memories. She truly is a joy to work with!

  Fantastic!

  Danielle is incredible! She stuck with us through multiple postponements with COVID, and the day of our wedding she kept us and our families smiling and laughing putting us at ease and resulting in the most gorgeous photos that we will forever cherish. Can't recommend her enough!

  Most Helpful Photographer Ever

  Danielle was amazing. She met with us multiple times, toured the venue with us, and was able to handle rain on our wedding while still taking excellent photos. She corralled our big families to keep us on schedule with picture taking. Danielle was amazing with my dress, she bustled it up in no time, leaving my bridesmaid amazed. She will go above and beyond to make your wedding day great and to give you excellent photos to treasure forever.

  Fantastic photographer and just a great person/team player

  Danielle shot our August, 2021 wedding and our engagement photos in June 2021. We've seen some of our wedding photos so far and they are gorgeous and exactly what we wanted and her prices are certainly reasonable. More importantly, Danielle was an incredible part of our day and our wedding team and was fun to work with. She soothed any stress about timing on the day of and kept us laughing during the more cheesy photos. Throughout the day, she worked really with our coordinator to make sure the day ran smoothly and she also checked in our videographer who was newer to the wedding industry. We received multiple compliments on Danielle by our friends as well. She was great about helping people take photos on their phones during the reception and still getting the professional photos for us. While we were trying to get people on the dance floor, she and our DJ called everyone on the dance floor for a photo and then started playing one of our favorite songs to get everyone to dance.
  
  During the engagement photos, Danielle made us comfortable and made sure we had fun with it.
  
  Overall, her work is amazing but she is also just a fun and wonderful person to work with. We would hire again and will go back to her for any future professional photos.

  More than a wedding photographer

  As soon as we met Danielle and saw her gorgeous photos, we knew she would be the photographer for us. She knows how to put you at ease and makes taking pictures feel natural. She is truly one of the warmest people and just speaking with her on the phone for a few minutes would brighten my whole day.
  
  When we had to postpone our large wedding celebration due to COVID, Danielle helped us find the most perfect, beautiful spot in DC to have our mini-ceremony and was so flexible and helpful with the planning. We had the perfect day with our families thanks to her help.
  
  I would recommend Danielle a million times over to anyone. She is amazing! Hire her and don't think twice!

  Her Photography skills are AMAZING

  Danielle is the absolute best photographer in the DMV area. Her attention to detail is stunning and she has a great eye for taking the best pictures. Outside of her being a skilled photographer, she also has a wonderful personality which has made her a pleasure to work with. If you are in need for a photographer for your wedding then she is your go to!

  Danielle is the best!

  Danielle was hands down our favorite vendor at our wedding. We felt so comfortable after meeting with her before the wedding and she made me and my bridesmaids laugh even in the most tense of moments. She had great ideas about different shots and knew how to get me to smile and pose to look my best. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with the way our pictures came out and all of our friends and family were so impressed. In fact, all of my guests even commented on how friendly and wonderful our photographer was. I felt like her prices were incredibly reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend Danielle!

  Danielle is the sweetest, most thoughtful and talented photographer we have ever worked with. She's easy going, a blast to work with and listened to and delivered exactly what we wanted in our enragement/ wedding photos. She is a star at corralling large families, sassy flower girls and chatty bridal parties. She made us so comfortable being in front of the camera. We are obsessed with all of our pictures and are so thankful she was there to capture such sweet moments. We will cherish our wedding photos forever and look forward to hopefully work together again in the future.

  Danielle is not only an extremely talented photographer - she is also a wonderful person who I absolutely loved having with me on my wedding day. She handled the big family portraits beautifully and made our bridal party have so much fun during all the photos. She always made me feel like she was trying to be true to us as a couple and capturing the best and most beautiful moments of the day while also being a true professional and keeping me on track with our schedule and events.

  Captured Our Wedding Perfectly!

  Danielle is a truly incredible and passionate photographer. Not only is she the sweetest person (making planning a breeze) with an easy-going personality (keeping you laughing even through the 1,000th photo) and always smiling (making it hard for you not to gleam even more brightly back at her), she is also clearly an expert at her craft, using unique techniques to create something truly special. My husband and I knew we wanted to work with Danielle when we say her ad on social stating: "The wedding should not be about the photos. The photos should be about the wedding." Danielle's work is a true testament to this statement - her photos are natural and authentic, capturing real moments instead of forced poses. Our wedding photos are full of emotion. Danielle didn't just capture our image, but our nerves, elation, and excitement as a newly married couple - they're raw and beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased. We cannot recommend Danielle enough!

  Danielle is the BEST vendor we had -- we cannot recommend her enough. She went WAY above and beyond before, during, and after to make our day perfect. We booked 10 hours with her, so we could do pictures around the monuments prior to the ceremony. She worked with us beforehand to plan out different routes and suggest good site locations and was flexible to make changes the day of (she even has a hookup at the National Gallery -- which worked out great because it was freezing!) It didn't feel like going to the sites with a photographer -- it felt like she was a close friend, which made our day so much more special. At the wedding, she also did not stop all night -- she took so many pictures following us around, but also getting great candids of guests -- she really captured the emotion of the night. She is extremely professional and worked well with various people in my wedding party who had various needs and requests. The pictures all came out amazing. Seriously, book Danielle for your wedding!!!

We just received photos from her (in such a short turn-around time!) and so many of my friends and family have come back to me saying that they are magazine-worthy, and I agree! She does such an amazing job capturing the people and their emotions in her photos. She really captured the pure bliss and happiness that me, my husband, our wedding parties, and all of our guests felt on my wedding. She doesn't alter people to look unlike themselves--she really brings out the best in YOU in her photos!

It really felt like such a personal experience and we all really appreciated her care and attention to detail.   Danielle was amazing from start to finish. We originally met over Skype and she immediately put us at ease. She was easy to work with and quick to respond to our (many) questions. We had her do our engagement shoot and she made it easy with tons of great ideas of where to get the best shots. She got us our photos super fast as well and we had plenty to chose from for the Save the Dates. Prior to the wedding, we met at the venue and did a walkthrough together. Now for the day of the wedding. We chose to get a second photographer because we were each getting ready at separate locations. We paid a little extra to get Danielle for most of the day (I think we started around 11am, totally worth it). Then we went around DC and took shots at the Lincoln (it was cold, Danielle is so kind that she shared her coat to keep the bride extra warm) and the National Gallery of Art. Danielle was super prepared and had great ideas for what shots to take and how to make things efficient, while still getting all the best shots. She expertly managed our first look. At the venue she continued to take great shots of the rest of our families and made everyone feel at ease. Throughout the night she was always taking great photos and always in the right place at the right time. Most important was how positive and genuinely enthusiastic she was - you are going to take A LOT of pictures, having someone who makes it fun is essential. With Danielle you also don't just get typical photos (you get those, don't worry), you also get artsy instagram ready beautiful shots and angles that we would never be able to think up on our own. We loved working with Danielle and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a great photographer. I also imagine she will cost more soon so book her asap! I honestly don't think she could have done anything better. THANK YOU DANIELLE!

  Danielle was amazing from start to finish. We originally met over Skype and she immediately put us at ease. She was easy to work with and quick to respond to our (many) questions. We had her do our engagement shoot and she made it easy with tons of great ideas of where to get the best shots. She got us our photos super fast as well and we had plenty to chose from for the Save the Dates. Prior to the wedding, we met at the venue and did a walkthrough together. Now for the day of the wedding. We chose to get a second photographer because we were each getting ready at separate locations. We paid a little extra to get Danielle for most of the day (I think we started around 11am, totally worth it). Then we went around DC and took shots at the Lincoln (it was cold, Danielle is so kind that she shared her coat to keep the bride extra warm) and the National Gallery of Art. Danielle was super prepared and had great ideas for what shots to take and how to make things efficient, while still getting all the best shots. She expertly managed our first look. At the venue she continued to take great shots of the rest of our families and made everyone feel at ease. Throughout the night she was always taking great photos and always in the right place at the right time. Most important was how positive and genuinely enthusiastic she was - you are going to take A LOT of pictures, having someone who makes it fun is essential. With Danielle you also don't just get typical photos (you get those, don't worry), you also get artsy instagram ready beautiful shots and angles that we would never be able to think up on our own. We loved working with Danielle and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a great photographer. I also imagine she will cost more soon so book her asap! I honestly don't think she could have done anything better. THANK YOU DANIELLE!

  DANIELLE IS AMAZING. We worked with her for both our engagement photos & 10 Hour Wedding Day Package, and I can't wait until we have an anniversary to work with her again! She is creative, positive, fun, energetic, works hard to get the shot, and knows how to give direction in a way that makes everyone feel at ease and laugh in front of the camera. Also, she's great at getting the full variety of shots: detail, wide angle, urban vs. natural settings, candid vs. portrait. Most importantly, she's just a great person to be around and we couldn't have imagined spending our day with anyone else. Danielle goes above and beyond and we can't recommend her enough.

  We couldn't have asked for a better photography. She was able to handle all of our odd request and our unique quirkiness of our wedding party. She was event ready to bribe our young flower girl and ring bearer with candy so she could get the shot. She went well past photography with her professionalism. Everything from bustling my brides dress to the best way to cut the cake. She was the total package and I am proud to say that she was a big part of our day!

  LOVE LOVE LOVE Danielle! I can not say enough good things about her. She genuinely just wanted your special day to be as great as it can be. She works with you before the ceremony to make sure you are comfortable with her. She is one of the rare photographers that seems to capture everything but not be intrusive or in the middle of everything.

My nervous were completely put at ease after our first skype conversation with Danielle. She was so sweet and professional that I knew we would have no issues. I can not say enough good things about her performance the day of. She arrived on time, gave excellent direction, kept us on schedule, was not obtrusive at all (but still got amazing shots), and the entire wedding party LOVED her. With her professional eye she was able to make my parents front yard look like a national park with all the greenery! Aside from the compliments I have gotten about how great Danielle was everyone is still raving about the incredible photos. To top it off she was reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who asked.
