When my husband and I were searching for a wedding venue for our December wedding, we had specific criteria in mind:
- A homey, welcoming atmosphere with warm lighting.
- Accommodates a guest list below 100 people.
- Allows our choice of catering.
- Easy to work with and communicative staff.
We found everything we were looking for at Dancing Fish Vineyards! Linda, the event coordinator, and Erin, one of the owners, were incredibly helpful and patient as we made decisions throughout the planning process. They provided excellent recommendations for rentals, and their wine selection was a huge hit with our guests. When there were hiccups with the dishes, Linda went the extra mile to ensure everything went according to plan.
Our day-of coordinator, officiant, and the entire Dancing Fish team truly made our wedding everything we could have hoped for. They were able to flip the room from ceremony, to reception, to a dance floor in a matter of minutes. Nearly of all of our guests complimented the venue, and the friendliness of the staff. I am grateful for everyone there, and I highly recommend Dancing Fish for any event! -

Hilary Sent on 06/09/2017We had our April weekend wedding at Dancing Fish Vineyards and couldn't have been happier. Brad and Nancy are such a delight to work with. Fun, flexible, accommodating and responsive. We wanted to have a wedding weekend and it was hard to find a place to do that, without being a hotel. We also wanted an outdoor wedding but being Seattle you always have to plan for rain so we needed an indoor option as well. As soon as we visited DFV we knew that was the place for us. We booked the property a year out from our wedding date and made multiple visits over that year taking friends and family to see the place. Every single time we felt welcomed, tried new wine and always had fun. Brad and Nancy are continually making additions to the venue so it was fun to see all the new things they had. We booked the venue/property Friday to Sunday. We had our rehearsal dinner in the farmhouse and welcome party in the party barn on Friday. Wedding ceremony (outside) and reception in the party barn on Saturday. We had 93 guests at our wedding so we rented a tent for the front barn patio which is where we had our cocktail hour, buffet and bar. All 95 of us plus the DJ fit in the barn no problem. We decorated the barn exactly how we wanted and set up all the tables in long rows and it was perfectly spectacular in my opinion. Throughout the whole weekend everyone was just so impressed with the beauty of the grounds. There are tons of VRBO/Air BnB's for people to rent as well as some small hotels in Langley.Dancing Fish delivered on all our expectations and more! We will definitely be visiting DFV/Brand and Nancy and trying their new wines again soon! Thank you for making our wedding so perfect and memorable!!
