  Absolutely cannot recommend enough!!!!

  I can't put into words how amazing Jenna and the Coastal Gourmet team are. From the very beginning when we booked our wedding with Latitude in July 2020, Jenna made the entire process literally seamless. She is such a professional and it's very clear she knows what she's doing when it comes to weddings! Coastal Gourmet's food is amazing (and there are SO many options to choose from) - our guests are still commenting on how great the food was and that there was not a single plate that wasn't empty by the end of dinner. Our bridal attendant, Judy, was fantastic - so attentive, kind, and helpful all evening. Truly all of the staff we interacted with throughout the day were so kind and professional. Cannot recommend Jenna and the CG team enough. Thank you for making our day so amazing.

  Beautiful Venue

  Coastal Gourmet was amazing! Their staff was great and met our every need. Mystic Seaport was so beautiful and everything we dreamed it would be!

  Our Perfect Day

  When my wife and I originally booked Coastal Gourmet and our wedding planner, Alyson Clark, back in 2018 we could not have imagined the challenges we would face planning our wedding. For over 2 years, Alyson was by our side every step of the way to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Alyson was incredibly professional, prepared, experienced, and has a warm personality that made her feel like a close friend very early in our wedding planning process. When COVID-19 began to impact the day we had originally envisioned, Alyson tackled the unprecedented challenge with her experience and was the primary force in helping to deliver a picture perfect wedding day despite everything else going on in the world. She was quick to deliver updates, was always available to chat, and we always knew she had us on her mind as our big day changed and evolved. We were beyond lucky to have Alyson with us through the entire process and I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone planning an event.

  Perfect Venue

  We made the decision to have a tiny covid year wedding in Oct 2020 after our original wedding plans were uprooted. Jenna and all of the staff at Latitude 41 were wonderful and truly made an amazing day for us. The venue was more than helpful ensuring we were able to have the type of day we were looking for. Everyone was attentive, the food amazing, and our day truly perfect thanks to everyone who made it happen at Latitude 41. I highly recommend this venue. If you choose them you will not regret it!

  Magical Nite!

  We found this venue to be beautiful, accessible and friendly! The coordinator, Jenna, was organized, professional, and kind. Our wedding could not have been better! The food and the venue were perfection!

  My wedding experience with latitude 41 and coastal gourmet was absolutely amazing! Jenna Landon my event planner was well equipped and organized and knew exactly what needed to be done! She played a major role in making the day run as smooth as possible! The food was delicious we decided to do stations to allow everyone to have options and would make it a fun experience! We decided on a pasta station, a bbq station and a stir fry station where meals where served in Chinese take out boxes!! (So cute, guests loved this) latitude 41 staff was also amazing true professionalism, and knowledge of what they were doing!! Guests are still talking about our wedding and wishing we could get married all over again so they could attend the reception again! Phenomenal would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding!! This was truly a perfect day!

  No one better!!! Jenna at Coastal Gourmet helped us along the way each and every step. We felt completely at ease having Jenna there at every turn. There is NO WAY we could have done this without her. From the food, to the tent, to the chefs, to the rentals, to the friendly staff... the day could not be more perfect! We really lucked out with the most magical day of our lives!

  Gorgeous Venue and Helpful Staff

  My wedding was everything I hoped for and Jenna and the rest of the staff were radiant every time something "went wrong" - I put that in quotes because if I thought something was going wrong they swooped in and then it was like nothing ever happened. It's a beautiful venue and everyone I've talked to since said this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! Its my first wedding so I didn't know what to do and it was wonderful that Jenna could direct and bounce ideas around. She never interfered with what I was planning just helped me to see any gaps and to find solutions. This was the very best and I'm so happy I chose Latitude 41 as my venue!

  Jenna and the team at Latitude 41 were all fantastic! From day one we knew our decision to have our wedding there was the right one. Jenna listened, heard my vision, and followed through beyond my expectations. She was very responsive, gave great suggestions, and made us feel so special. I had the best, most stress-free, wedding day because I knew I could trust Jenna! There are so many details involved in planning a wedding, and Jenna did a great job making sure everything was covered. The food was FANTASTIC -- guests are still raving about their meals. We felt like we got the chance to actually enjoy our night because of the way the team stayed on top of things and kept us in the loop. They kept us well-fed and always made sure we had a fresh drink in hand. The scenery is beyond beautiful, but the staff was the icing on the cake. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect!

  Amazing Experience!

  I can't begin to describe how wonderful our wedding was! We were married on 5/18/19 at the North Lawn/ River Room at Latitude 41 using Coastal Gourmet. Alyson was the person who helped us and she was amazing! She was super knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and genuinely wanted to see you have the wedding of our dreams. She was never pushy and was always willing to answer my million questions. I would highly recommend looking into both Latitude 41 and Coastal Gourmet for anyone starting the wedding planning or event planning process!

  Beautiful venue

  My daughter chose Lattitude 41 based on the rustic nature of the River Room and the Mystic River and boats in the background. Despite the brutal wind outside, the wedding ceremony and reception fulfilled every expectation. The staff adjusted to having the ceremony on the enclosed patio and cocktail hour in the River Room. All the guests raved about the appetizers and dinner. We all danced the night away. The location was perfect for sunset pictures and most importantly, the bride and groom had a wonderful time!!

  Mr. & Mrs. K. Stanley Wedding

  Selecting Coastal Gourmet was the best decision we could have made. During the process of planning we consulted with a few other local venues. None of them stood a chance after we consulted with Coastal Gourmet. Latitude 41 has such a great atmosphere. I can not say enough about the service and professionalism. Jenna Landon is the best! She is exactly the best in the business. She was always in contact with me during the process of planning and more than flexible and accommodating. I wish I had an award to give her for assuring my day was as beautiful as it was!!

  Stunning venue, great food, and helpful staff

  We highly recommend Coastal Gourmet at Latitude 41 in Mystic! Guests were blown away by the beautiful and unique venue and delicious food. We were looking for a venue on the water and Latitude 41 was the perfect combination for water views with a beautiful indoor space that would stand out on it's own. From our first contact with the venue, Alyson, our coordinator, was extremely attentive and responsive. I always felt like a priority when working with them and they were very accommodating to all special requests. Guests were impressed by the amount of food that we had for cocktail hour and the generous portion sizes for dinner. We got married in November and were able to take advantage of the winter wedding prices which were a great value and more affordable than competitors who did not have as much to offer. Our guests also loved being in Mystic, where there is a lot to do and many stayed extra days to make a vacation out of the weekend. We loved this space and it helped make for a perfect day!

  September wedding

  Our reception was held at Latitude 41 next to the Mystic Seaport. It was absolutely beautiful. Our pictures by the boats and on the Seaport grounds came out beautiful. We reserved the River Room for the reception. The decor and setup was everything we envisioned thanks to our planner Jenna. She also did an amazing job keeping everything running timely and smoothly. All the staff at Latitude was very friendly and helpful!

  Incredible Service

  Alyson was amazing to work with. She would check-in throughout the planning process and was very helpful with making final decisions. The day of, they set up the Boat Shed exactly how I had envisioned and described. They were very attentive to detail. The food was AMAZING and there were many compliments from our guests. The wait staff and our bridal attendant, Carol, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We can't thank them enough!

  When we decided on Latitude 41 for our wedding venue, we had no idea what we were in for. We ultimately chose Latitude because we wanted classy, coastal CT vibes. What we got was that, but an amazing coordinator and an amazing caterer, too! Jenna and Coastal Gourmet made the planning process so incredibly easy. Not even ten minutes into our first tour of the venue, Jenna somehow knew my style and what I would and wouldn't like and she was absolutely right. She has a great eye for detail and was very organized. Since it was a destination wedding for us, it was so helpful to have Jenna with us - she is so knowledgeable on the area and different vendors. When we were planning our wedding the three most important things to us were booze, food and music. Jenna recommended bands to us that we ended up booking and also recommended some areas to rent a house for the week of our wedding. Coastal Gourmet has an amazing menu that we were able to be flexible with. So many of our guests said that was the best wedding food they have ever eaten. I highly recommend Latitude 41 and Coastal Gourmet for any event!

  Coastal Gourmet made our wedding day absolutely perfect! Jenna was a fantastic coordinator with an impeccable eye for detail and a true talent for making sure our celebration went off seamlessly. CJ, our bridal attendant, was a true super star. She made us feel so comfortable and well taken of. CJ anticipated our every need before we ever had to make a request. The staff at mystic was absolutely phenomenal in every way. The space could not have been more beautiful and elegantly decorated. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience.   From the instant we met Jenna until the end of a magical evening, Coastal Gourmet/Lattitude 41 was top notch. The venue is lovely, the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Would not hesitate to recommend Coastal Gourmet/Lattitude41.

  We are so happy we decided to have our ceremony at the Greenmanville Church and our reception at Latitude 41 this past December. It was wonderful to work with Jenna throughout the planning process, and we and our guests were thrilled with the venue, food, and staff.

  Michael and his staff of coastal gourmet were incredible. They catered our daughters wedding on 11/11/17 and the food was amazing!! Michael was so flexible with menu changes and additions right up until the last week of the wedding. I cannot say enough great things. If I could rate 10 stars I would!!

  My fiancé and I could not think of a better venue than the River Room at Latitude 41 and Coastal Gourmet was amazing at providing exceptional food and service. Everyone commented how delicious the food was, we did plated dinners and the beef was medium rare, hot, delicious. The cedar plank salmon was also soooo tasty. And all the apps were good, we had trouble deciding what to pick at the tasting! All the staff was friendly and worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Our coordinator Jenna Landon was so amazing that I felt like I hired her to be my personal wedding coordinator. I could go on and on!

  We had the best experience with Coastal Gourmet at Mystic Seaport. To start, the food was.... amazing! We heard wonderful feedback from our guests about the hors d'oeuvres and their meals (bistro steak, chicken Francais, vegetarian pasta),even weeks after the event. Our wedding planner Jenna was so organized. She made this very crazy process as simple as it could possibly be. She mapped out everything for us from start to finish and every single little detail in-between. She is very creative and has such an eye for wedding beauty. Jenna offered her opinion when asked but still allowed me to create my own wedding vision.

  Words cannot express the amount of gratitude that we have for Jenna Landon and that staff at Coastal Gourmet Catering and Latitude 41 Restaurant. Everything for our wedding was beyond anything I could have imagined, it was perfect!! Jenna is absolutely fabulous! I honestly do not know how we would have made it through the wedding planning process without her. She is definitely an expert in her field and has incredible attention to detail. Jenna is very personable, we enjoyed all our meetings with her in planning. She had excellent suggestions and understood the vision we wanted for our day. We felt really confident in working with Jenna because of our trust in her and because of her professionalism and expertise, which helped us to not feel stressed for the wedding. She ensured that we stayed on schedule during the wedding day and made sure that everything went smooth. The staff at Latitude and Coastal Gourmet is the best! We all had wonderful experiences with all the staff that worked there. They were friendly and attentive - we were so thankful for all of their hard work. We would especially like to thank our bridal attendant Brittany, she was outstanding!
  
  We saw Latitude 41 for the first time during a snow storm and it was still gorgeous as ever. The venue is really unique. The North Lawn (behind the restaurant) is where we held our ceremony. It is an open area that has the most incredible scenic view of the Mystic River and to the left you can see the seaport. We took many of our photos in the seaport which provided a stunning backdrop. The River Room (reception area) itself gives me a "glammed rustic" feeling. It is a space you do not need a lot of decorations for because it is beautiful. We decided to have bistro lights hung above the dance floor, which helped make it feel magical. Jenna and the staff really did an outstanding job making our wedding a dream come true. We didn't want the night to end! We highly recommend this venue!!

She responded quickly to emails, and even last minute requests. Jenna is a consummate professional. Simply put, she gets the job done. Our event was literally flawless thanks to her hard work, attentiveness, and impeccable eye for detail.
  VENUE: If you visit the venue you will see that the setting is beautiful. The North Lawn is a gorgeous stretch of green grass that they keep pristine. The morning and afternoon of our wedding saw several inches of rain, and still, the lawn was dry and ready for guests when they arrived. The River Room has a lot of character (in a good way!) and the setup (including bar, dance floor, and cocktail hour) was perfect.
  STAFF: Wonderful!
  FOOD: We had heard the food was good, and had tasted it and thought it was delicious as well, but are always skeptical of "wedding venue food." However, it did not disappoint. We thought the food was even better on the day of our wedding than when we had done a tasting. Our guests raved about their steak and salmon, and the apps (none of these were "upgrades" to the menu).
  ADVICE: Add an extra half an hour to the event (we did and it was well worth it!) and rent the North Lawn!
