    We had our wedding ceremony (3rd floor) and reception (6th floor) at Club 1000 on October 8. I couldn't have been any happier with the entire experience. From planning to set up to execution, Heidi and the team were great to work with and helped us have the best night, and best party, ever. I would highly recommend working with Club 1000 on your event.

    My wedding reception was the 3rd event I have had here. My first two events I worked with John and Carla. John had fallin ill by the time my wedding rolled around and I saw in the paper this week he passed away. I did get to work with his nephew Jake. Everyone I had the opportunuty to work with was wonderful. Always got back to me in a timely manner and I am a crazy worrier. We had our wedding reception on the 2nd floor and a cocktail hour in the basement. The venue is beautiful. I have now had parties on the 6th floor and 1st floor. Great price, great location and a great staff. I even emailed Jake how many chairs I needed at tables for the 3rd time the night before and it was perfect on our big day!

    I have now done 2 work events here. The staff and venue are great and what a great price. Can't wait to have my wedding here :)

    With their list of vendors to be used, it made the scheduling so much easier. John and Carla understood our needs and responded accordingly. We were very pleased with the overall experience.

    Club 1000 was the perfect venue for my wedding! We had a hard time finding a venue because many in our price-point were too small to accommodate the number of people (and amount of dancing) we were hoping for. We had our wedding on the second floor of the building, which is a nice white open space that is easy to dress-up however you want. Carla, their coordinator, is great and worked with my wedding planner to make sure everything was setup and ready go. They even recommended an incredible caterer (Catering by Shawn), who I'm not sure we would have found him otherwise because he doesn't seem to do a ton of advertising. It was a great experience!

    So happy that we chose Club 1000 for our daughters Wedding! Such a beautiful venue! John and Carla were wonderful to work with and all of their suggestions were spot on. And no surprises! John, I loved your sound system and lighting for the dance floor and room. Our music sounded so good that most of our guests stayed and danced right up to the very end! We all had such a wonderful time! I would love to choose Club 1000 again for my next big event!

    Both the manager and owner (Carla and John) were absolutely fabulous! They were great to work with, allowed me to customize the space to fit my needs. Things were clearly explained and if I ever did have questions, they were responded to imediately!
    Not to mention, the penthouse floor has an incredible view and fantastic lighting! Do not pass this one up!

    Club 1000 was wonderful! The space is beautiful and Carla is so helpful. If you want your wedding to have a total downtown Kansas City vibe then you should use Club 1000! Our guests keep talking about how beautiful the skyline was. Brides-- there is also a totally badass space to get ready in!

    John and Carla were GREAT to work with at Club 1000. Club 1000 is a beautiful location and we are VERY happy we had our special day take place there! We had our wedding ceremony in Studio 1000 (3rd floor) and our reception in Klub Kilo (1st floor).

    John and Carla were very easy to work with and always available when I needed to stop by to check things out (again and again) during my planning process. Everything we discussed, was exactly right.

    The day of our wedding and reception, I did not have to worry about a thing. It was perfect.

    My husband and I would STRONGLY recommend having your wedding and reception at Club 1000. If we could get married again, we would have it at Club 100 again! :)

    My husband and I have absolutely no regrets about having our wedding at Club 1000. We got engaged Labor Day weekend of 2010, and had secured a wedding venue fairly early on. However, in March 2011, that venue was forced to close down by the city of Kansas City, and we found ourselves without a venue. It was a total nightmare...at first. I called several venues just trying to find availability, and Club 1000 was the first to call me back. John was amazing. Everything I asked of him, he did. Any email or phone call was returned promptly. He was flexible with the layout and helped guide us in the right direction for the venue. Carla was equally helpful, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. She was available without being OVERLY available, which I appreciated the day-of. John and Carla worked well with all of our vendors, and we had an amazing day. Thanks so much for the memorable experience!!

    This review is obviously late, but I really wanted to give credit to John and Carla and Club 1000 for my daughter's wedding and reception. My daughter and her fiancé were living in NYC and conducted most of the preliminaries via email. My daughter's mother and I visited Club 1000 where we met with Carla and were both thoroughly impressed with both her and the venue. We contracted for Club 1000 for the wedding and the Penthouse for the reception. When my daughter and her fiancé were finally able to fly to KC to see Club 1000 in person, Carla met with them for a 2nd tour. Carla was most helpful and kept in constant contact with my daughter via phone and/or email to address any questions or changes leading up to the wedding event. I worked with John on the contract and found him to be thoroughly professional and all the requirements were explained in full. Everything went exactly as planned and on the day of the wedding, we found both the Club 1000 and the Penthouse spotless. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I would also like to point out that there was another wedding scheduled on a different floor at the same time and it did not interfere with ours at all. Fantastic job. I would encourage any who are looking not to have a traditional church wedding to take a look at Club 1000.

    Me and my Husband we supposed to get married at the Arts Incubator. since it closed down we were foced to find another place in and month and a half. John from Club 1000 was the only person to call me back, i emails 9 vendors!! to this day not one of the other receptions venues called me back!!
    John and Carla made me feel sooo comfortable that after we viewed Club 1000 for the first time i went home and cried out of relief. John got us a floor plan and walked through every single detail needed. he helped me figure out what i REALLY needed to do. it was unreal. he provided me word documents and excels to help me organize all my details. Carla called every single one of my vendors and scheduled their arrival. my photobooth wanted to change me $50 to arrive an hour earlier to set up and Carla got the to set up and ENTIRE DAY EARLY!! i recommend Club 1000 to EVERYONE!! please just talk to them!! couldnt be happier!!
    OH YEAH and everyone kept telling me how AWESOME the bar tenders were!! they were soo nice to everyone!! so helpful!!!! I cant thank everyone enough!!!

    Obviously THE BEST. One look at this place and you will fall in love. I did and my reception was INCREDIBLE. I think it's the LIGHTING that makes the place what it is. John Berkowitz (the owner) is great to work with and truly works for you. I see the bad reviews below mine and maybe he did too... which made him shape up! He was really calm and so nice for my wedding. The package with this that puts it even more over the top is the ROOF-TOP photo. So GORGEOUS with the KC skyline in the back. You will win any bridal battle with this venue :)

    I had a wonderful experience working with John and Carla from Club 1000 when planning my wedding reception. They were incredibly responsive, flexible, and were both honest and up front about guidelines, rules, especially the damage deposit. The planning of my event was flawless, and the evening of my reception was incredible. I can't name one thing that I wish had been done differently or one criticism of John or Carla. They were both easy to find and willing to help with anything during the reception. I attribute the success of my reception at Club 1000 to the experience and professionalism of both John & Carla. My night couldn't have been any more perfect. Thank you Club 1000!

    We had our ceremony on the 3rd floor and our reception on the 6th floor on September 19, 2015. The venue is absolutely beautiful! The view from the 6th floor is amazing! We had plenty of room to get ready before the ceremony and for all of our guests during our event. John and Jake were nice and really know the venue. We had the head's up that it was possible that the staff would come in and start turning on lights and asking everyone to leave, so this didn't happen with our event.

    Overall, we had an excellent experience with having our wedding reception at Club 1000. The space is perfect to have a ONE ROOM reception with an awesome dance floor, and amazing sound/lighting included. I would recommend Club 1000 to anyone looking for a downtown event space!

    Club 1000 is amazing! If you are into the whole open loft style venue, this place is for you. From the get go, I could tell that John has his stuff together. John was unfortunately out of town on the weekend of our wedding, but he made sure everything would be perfect non the less and Carla stepped in and ran the show flawlessly. I loved working with them, especially because they helped me make my dream wedding come to life! We also held our rehearsal dinner here, which was way cool. It was great to do the rehearsal, and walk to the next room and have a cool lounge style room (complete with a bar and bartender) waiting for my guests.

    We rented out the penthouse level (6th floor) of Club 1000 for its awesome urban skyline views and sophisticated yet sexy ambience. We were very pleased overall with our experience.

    John and Carla were great! Our wedding and reception were both wonderful and beautiful. John really stepped up and took care of us when the Stowe building closed and left us with no wedding venue.
