  Beautiful, high quality, affordable, dependable!

  We worked directly with Jim Dewey. He was professional, communicative, reliable and easy going. He took our vision and ran with it, went above and beyond what we expected was even possible. He was very responsive which took away any of the stress we had going into our lighting / power setup. He not only did a site visit with us well before our wedding date, but also returned the day of our wedding to make sure everything was functioning perfectly. 10/10!!!!!!!

  Made out venue look absolutely amazing . Super professional and quick responses . The lighting was absolutely beautiful and I cannot recommend this company enough and is much better pricing than others and way to work with !

  Amazing Dance Floor Lighting!

  Everyone should hire Cleveland Uplighting for their wedding or next event! Jim did an amazing job stringing beautiful edison lights over our dance floor at Windows on the River. He had everything set up the morning of so when we walked into our reception all we had to do was look at how beautiful it was! His price is great too for everything him and his company provide for you. I will recommend them to all of my friends and family!

  Amazing!

  Cleveland uplighting was a great place to do my uplighting for my wedding day. The uplighting completed the room space and I couldn’t of been more happy about the outcome on how everything looked. Would definitely recommend this place!

  I am so glad we chose Cleveland Uplighting for our wedding uplighting. They were professional, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with! When we told them we were getting married at Ariel Pearl, they were ready with options that have worked for the venue in the past. I definitely recommend this company whether you want subtle uplighting, like we did, or something more attention grabbing!!

  Rustic Wedding

  Jim Dewey from Cleveland Uplighting provided a beautiful finishing touch to my son and daughter-in-laws wedding reception at Hale Farm. The overhead lights he put up were a perfect blend of simplicity and elegance. Not only that, it was one less thing we had to worry about when decorating. When we arrived to the venue to decorate, the lights were already up and we didn't have to worry about taking them down at midnight when the reception was over. I highly recommend!

  Wonderful!!!

  Although I never actually met Jim, he made such a difference in the way my wedding reception looked at Hale Farm and Village. He was very helpful and made sure I got what I wanted within my budget. He had everything set up before my wedding and made the process of working with him so easy. I cannot recommend him and his work enough.

  Jim was amazing to work with! My husband and I were Covid bride and groom and Jim made it easier on us with all the changes/push backs we needed to keep making by being completely responsive. His pricing is the best in Cleveland area and does beautiful work! Everyone commented on the lighting he did for our wedding. Highly recommend!

  Wedding August 2020

  Jim did an awesome job with lighting for our event. We had a backyard wedding and ended up reaching out to Jim about 3 weeks before the event. He was happy to do it and came over to look at the backyard and come up with a plan for the lighting. He knew his stuff and came up with some pretty good ideas! There were several options to choose from (can't go wrong with any of them). Jim was also down to earth and a genuinely good guy. On the day we set up the tent, there was a small fiasco with the rain and the tent company didn't set up the tent properly. Jim arrived at the same time to set up lighting and actually spent a lot of time helping us fix the tent before he set up the lights. We were super appreciative of it and not to mention, he did an awesome job with the lights! Looked stunning on the day of the wedding, and especially at night. 5/5 stars, would recommend anyone use him.

Here really listened to us and helped us figure out our vision and went out to our venue ahead of time to make sure the lighting turned out perfectly. Other lighting vendors had told us it would be too difficult to string lights between trees and Jim made it seem like no big deal for him and happily did it without charging too much extra. He even went above and beyond and helped us set up our DIY photobooth. We would work with him again in a heartbeat!

  We had an incredibly positive experience with Cleveland Uplighting! Jim helped us set up the backdrop and lighting for our wedding. When we started, we only had some vague ideas of what we wanted. Jim came to our venue and gave us suggestions that helped bring our ideas to life. He was professional, detail-oriented, punctual, and extremely easy to work with. His work was BEAUTIFUL and I would definitely recommend him!

  We were so happy with the lighting and help at our wedding at Hale Farm. Our flower arrangement that Jim hung from the ceiling was so perfect! We thought our rentals company was going to put up the lights over the dance floor but last minute we were told they couldn’t. Jim was able to do those for us and they looked amazing! We also had him put up lights in a tent and pavilion that looked wonderful! He did a great job!

My wife and I got married 2 months ago and we chose our venue, Columbia Hills Country Club, we loved the layout of the venue and the trees around were a nice touch.. But we new we had to dress it up to look elegant since our wedding was more on the elegant side.. We got the contact info for Cleveland Uplighting and met Jim within a week.. we were going through picture after picture and he gathered some ideas and put a quote for us together.. The main thing my wife wanted was a backdrop with a rose gold sequin drape and some lights mixed with ivory drapery.. Which was a bit of a challenge for Jim, in which he didn’t back down.. The end result was stunning.. he also wrapped the pillars in the venue with the same drapery.. Do not over look Cleveland Uplighting for your upcoming event.. Awesome work

  I had a fantastic experience!

  James and Alison were amazing to work with, they put lighting in my tent for my wedding and I couldn’t have been more please. The lighting and ambiance it gave was perfect! 10/10 from my experience! I will add more pictures once my photographer give me more but these are two I have now :) Thank you so much Cleveland Uplighting!!

  Jim was very responsive and very thorough throughout the whole booking process. We had our wedding at the Ariel Pearl and it really gave the room the extra pop that we were looking for. I would highly recommend him to others.

  A 'Glowing' Experience!

  Jim Dewey of Cleveland Uplighting is a man of his word. He met with us at our chosen venue at the appointed hour, walked through the venue with us taking detailed notes of everything we discussed, sent us an invoice that clearly listed every detail and what it would cost, and cheerfully adjusted things for us when we requested it. He arrived the evening before the wedding and was hard at work when we walked into the venue for rehearsal. He and his crew were pleasant, hard-working and meticulous in every detail of their job. They were back to tear down at the end of our reception and left the place as neat as it had been before they came - you'd never have known they'd been there! But the lighting was truly breathtaking. Our daughter, whose heart's desire was to have a 'sparkle-lit wedding', was thrilled with how the venue looked, and so were we. We cannot recommend Jim Dewey of Cleveland Uplighting more highly!

  Jim was a real pleasure to work with! He was very easy to get along with and accommodated to last minute changes. Cleveland unlightinf provided the bistro lighting over the dance floor, uplighting behind the wedding party and string lighting throughout the venue. What we choose was all very affordable. Looked like a dream!!
