As soon as my partner and I were engaged, I knew I wanted to get married close to home in Williamson County. We toured other places, and had Zoom meetings with a few more, but nothing compared to the feeling we had when we walked through CJ's with our amazing coordinator Sidney. We knew that zero details would be missed. Planning a wedding while being long distance from each other AND the wedding venue could have been a disaster, but Sidney kept everything running on time, smoothly, with not a single hiccup in the whole planning process. She gave me bite size things to work on between our Zoom meetings, and always had the big picture in mind. And the wedding itself was absolutely breathtaking. Two months later I still have friends and family calling and texting about how absolutely spot on the entire event was because they could see me and my partner in all the details! Sidney surprised us several times during the planning process, bringing her amazing creativity to the table to take our initial ideas and blow them up into a full on event of the year. Truly, truly, truly from the bottom of our heart, thank you Sidney & CJ's!

CJ's Off the Square was the perfect venue for our fall wedding. We could not have selected a more amazing place! The entire process was stress free, largely due to Brette, our planner with CJ's. She was professional, organized, kind, and enthusiastic from our first meeting all the way through our wedding day. She always responded in a timely manner and helped us with all the details. The venue itself is so beautiful and has everything you need in one place. Some of our favorite things about CJ's were the ability to customize things to make it fit our style, the small, intimate feel that it created for us and our guests, and how much is included in the package. It's such a great value and we felt very cared for by the entire team. We highly recommend CJ's Off the Square!

Cj’s off the square was a wonderful choice for a venue. I was the matron of honor in an October 2023 wedding, and was with the bride for the entire planning process. We did everything over zoom, as neither of us lived in the area. As someone that has been intimately involved in planning 3 wedding at this point, I can say that CJs made it as easy as possible to do this remote planning. Sidney came prepared to meetings to discuss open items. She presented options for table scapes, vendors, and rental items. She also helped to form the overall vibe of the wedding and suggested different items that helped fit that vision. She wasn’t pushy, and from my point of view did not try to over sell anything. The day of coordination was also great, which I can attest to because as the MOH I wasn’t running around like a chicken with my head cut off doing last minute prep. Overall it was a great experience, and if anyone is on the fence about working with the team, I hope this positive review speaks for itself.

Sidney at CJ’s Off the Square was a dream to work with. She helped to make the vision of our wedding become a reality. She made the whole planning process comfortable and fun! I would highly recommend planning your wedding with CJ’s.

We decided to change our elopement to a full scale wedding with less than 2 months until our set date. CJ’s off the Square and our planner Sidney made everything so seamless and pain free. I was worried about how everything would come together with such short notice but it was like Sidney read my mind and made our day picture perfect. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding and even more compliments about the venue itself. CJ’s Off the Square is a hidden gem in downtown Franklin and a place your guests will love! My husband and I both agree if we had to do it all again, there is absolutely nothing we would change. Sidney made sure our day was perfect and handled everything from setting up my DIY flowers, to implementing the rain plan an hour before the ceremony, to packing us a to go box for the hotel afterwards! So many people even complimented the rain and said it added such a vibe to our day! We 10/10 would recommend ❤️

The team at CJ’s was absolutely perfect! I never thought I would describe planning my wedding day as “easy,” but Sidney and everyone else at CJ’s made it look effortless. We got a lot of compliments on the venue, the location, the food, and the staff, and from my perspective, they were all well-deserved. The venue's landscaping is stunning and the overall layout is perfect for an intimate, romantic garden wedding. Booking with CJs made the whole planning process so easy with the inclusion of most vendors in the package while also allowing you to add your own flare and style. Sidney (our CJs planner) always made us feel like a top priority, made each planning visit fun and minimally stressful, and was there day of to keep everything running smoothly and to take care of any last minute needs. We would recommend CJs to anyone looking for a garden venue.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at CJ's Off The Square in Tennessee, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the moment we stepped into this enchanting venue, we knew we had found the perfect place for our special day.

First and foremost, we want to express our immense gratitude to our wedding planner, Sidney. From the initial planning stages to the grand finale, Sidney was an absolute gem. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for creating unforgettable moments made all the difference. She took the time to understand our vision and limited budget then worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly.

Sidney's warm and friendly demeanor made the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable, and she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire journey. When my mom couldn't come to our tasting due to covid, Sidney said no problem and wrapped up mom's stuff to go! Sidney's dedication to making our wedding day truly magical was evident in every aspect of the planning process.

The venue itself is a picturesque oasis. CJ's Off The Square exudes charm and sophistication with its lush gardens, elegant architecture, and intimate atmosphere. The versatility of the space allowed us to customize our celebration to reflect our personalities, creating a truly unique and personal experience for us and our guests.

On the day of the wedding, everything did not run seamlessly. I (bride) struggle with chronic health issues with flare up symptoms made worse by heat (we had a June wedding) and stress. During pre ceremony photos I got over heated and had a flare up, I felt horrible and didn't know if I could even walk myself down the isle. Sidney and her team took it all in stride! Without really being asked they brought me ice packs, set me up in front of a fan, and provided me with all the ginger ale I could drink, all without the guest or my future hubby ever being the wiser! They then went above and beyond and placed chilled towels at the alter and an extra chair incase I needed it during the ceremony. Somehow they also got a fan to my MOH so she would fan me during the ceremony as needed. Truly can not thank the CJ's team enough for their kindness and care.

The CJ's Off The Square team, led by Sidney, worked like a well-oiled machine, ensuring that every detail was executed with precision. From the ceremony in the garden to the reception in the beautiful pavilion, our wedding day was a seamless blend of romance, joy, and celebration.

We received countless compliments from our guests on the stunning venue, food, and the overall experience. CJ's Off The Square provided the perfect backdrop for our love story, and we are grateful to Sidney and the entire team for making our wedding dreams come true.

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! Not only is it beautiful, the location can’t be beat. My husband and I have very busy schedules, and the built in planning is what sealed the deal for us. Our planner, Sidney, was the greatest! She made wedding planning stress free and easy and went above and beyond. Looking back, I don’t think we could have pulled off having a wedding anywhere else! We couldn’t have done it without her. We are so thankful for CJ’s and can’t recommend them enough!

When Josh and I came to CJs off the square we asked Sidney (Our awesome planner!) if we could do something outside of the box. Sidney didn’t hesitate and made our vision come to life. Sidney and the team at CJs truly made our magical candlelight ceremony come to life. Planning was seamless!!

CJs was the perfect place for our wedding in April! The Main Street festival was the same day as our wedding and we were nervous about parking/traffic, but Brette and her team came up with a solution and it worked perfectly! We received so many compliments from family and friends about the venue, food and music. Everything was planned out so well by Brette, that on the day of the wedding, I had never felt so calm and stress free (looking back it’s weird how calm I was 😂). We feel very lucky that we were able to get married in such a beautiful, special venue!

CJ's was the perfect venue for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the service that Brette, CJ, and their team provided for the months leading up to our big day, as well as the day itself. The venue was flawless, the food was incredible, and the DJ kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Mirroring our thoughts, our guests had nothing but great things to say about CJ's.

I cannot speak highly enough of CJ's!! It was seriously the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. They just took care of EVERYTHING. Our planner, Sidney, was a dream to work with and made sure we had the most perfect day. She was quick to respond and answered all my annoying questions. She was amazing!! I cannot thank CJ's enough for giving us the PERFECT wedding day. I know picking a venue can be so scary and overwhelming but CJ's is truly worth every single penny. Forever grateful!!

My husband and I could not be more grateful that we found CJ's. Every single detail was taken care of and thought of for us. Our planner Sidney Darby was absolutely incredible. We can not speak highly enough of Sidney. She made sure everything was taken care of leading up to the big day as well as the day of. We had our wedding 2 weeks ago and everyone is still talking about how it was the best wedding they had been to. The team at CJ's makes the garden venue magical.

I would give 10 stars if I could!!! It is overwhelming to reflect on what a perfect process and wedding day we had with CJ's Off the Square. We had the honor of working with both Allison and Brette who care so much professionally, but most importantly, personally. CJ's is without a doubt a very well oiled machine- their planning process is streamlined and organized. We always felt like we knew exactly what step we were on and what to-dos were coming up. This made the entire planning process stress free and easy! Brette and Allison are true experts in everything weddings! They were true consultants with us and made several amazing recommendations that elevated our whole wedding. They are timely and knowledgable in answering *all* of my emails with random questions that would pop in my head. The day of our wedding was genuinely perfect. They thought of every single detail and the vision we dreamed of only came to life because of them. Every vendor we used spoke so highly of CJ's and it became clear how respected and admired they are in the wedding world. We are forever grateful for the experience we had with CJ's and it is a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Our wedding at CJ's was everything we pictured. The process of planning was made so easy by Brette. She kept tedious notes on every idea we had thrown at her. The day of, she made sure everything ran smoothly and reassured me it was going well. The details that CJ's put into the ceremony and reception were immaculate. We truly had a perfect wedding day, and I can't wait to see the pictures!

The best day of our lives all due to an amazing experience with CJ's and Brette! From the beginning to the end (day of and after) Brette was by our side for anything and everything. We wanted a smaller garden/outdoor venue and had to have my mother and sister do the touring initially for us as we live out of state. We all fell in love! All our vendors that were mostly suggested by Brette, were 100% perfect! The biggest thank you for a perfect day, must go to Brette. Through her work, she provided the example of what first class service, communication, and planning looks like. Always genuine, always honest and always there with the answer and smile! I honestly wish she could've sat in the audience during our ceremony as she truly felt like a close friend to us. Her excitement, matched our excitement, always. With our busy work schedules it was tough getting a time that worked for us for zoom meetings, but she was always very flexible. And her attention to detail kept my stress levels low so I could enjoy every minute from planning to enjoying the day of. We couldn't have asked for a more personal partner for this amazing day. From us, our families, and our friends (who all enjoyed the big day and will be talking for years about it) thank you, Brette, a million times over! You and CJ's, our dream venue, will always be at the top of our recommendations!

CJ’s Off the Square was wonderful through the planning process and on our wedding day. Our planner, Sydney, really stepped up to ensure we had a great day. Having just move to the Nashville area during our engagement, Sidney provided us with the vendors she trusts and every single one ended up great! She was a great resource and kept us on track.

As for the actual wedding day, this is where I think CJ’s, Sydney, and the rest of the staff shine. From the rehearsal the day before to the sparkler exit, everything is organized and well planned. There was not a single time where I had to worry about where something was or how things were running. I can’t even imagine not having the CJ’s team there because it allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy our wedding day and soak in what we had planned for the past few months as oppose to worrying about the details. CJ’s is a well oiled machine and it shows. They know exactly what they are doing and are ready for anything that gets thrown their way. Yes, the venue is stunning and quaint with the garden, pond, and historic house, but it is truly the wonderful people you’re paying for. They are awesome! And made our wedding day such a hit!

A few moments I want to call out:
- Sydney helping to bustle my wedding dress. It was complicated and after my mother, MOH, and husband were struggling to find all the hooks, Sydney swooped in and saved the day!
- The service staff were exemplary. I know one of my young guests loved the fried green tomatoes and befriended one of the servers to get as many as she could. This tied to the bar staff whipping up a mock tail so that she could feel like the adults, made her first wedding a blast. She still talks about how much fun she had 6 months later!
- Sydney keeping an eye on our young guests and feeding the fish in the pond for them.
- Sydney brought my husband and I a side of chimichurri sauce during dinner because we loved it during the tasting, but ended up not getting it. It was such a pleasant surprise!
- DJ Scott! He is so much fun and handles the speeches/music flawlessly. Cannot recommend him enough!
- The rest of staff making me and my now husband feel comfortable and at ease during the whole day. I did not need to worry about when the flowers were coming or if the tables were set. When waiting to walk down the aisle, they gave me reassurance to take a deep breath and then fluffed my dress. I truly just needed to show up and be present on one of the most important days of my life. And at the end of the day isn’t that all you want for your wedding day?

A huge thank you to Sydney and the staff at CJ’s! While I don’t remember all the names of everyone there that day, you all made our day so special. Thank you!

My husband and I are so grateful that we had the opportunity to get married at CJ’s Off the Square in October of 2022. We toured multiple venues and spaces in the Greater Nashville area, and CJ’s Off the Square was by far the most organized, detail-oriented, and passionate team. From the moment we walked in the door on our tour day, to the moment we exited our reception, and beyond, Sidney and the team delivered beyond our greatest expectations. Having Sidney as our planner made a world of a difference in our entire planning experience. She took so much time to get to know us as a couple, learn our story, and understand our vision. She transformed our wildest dreams and inspiration into the most beautiful, curated, fairytale day we could have ever imagined. As a bride who had a very specific goal and vision, I was worried that the planning process would consume me and be a stressful experience. However, because of Sidney and the all-inclusive nature of CJ’s Off the Square, it was quite the opposite. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the planning process and it is all thanks to Sidney’s hard work. On our wedding day, every detail, was taken care of. One of my favorite moments was when Sidney hid behind me to help fluff my enormous dress as I prepared to walk down the aisle with my dad. We could not be more happy with our wedding day. Following the wedding, we got so many wonderful compliments from family and friends that absolutely loved the intimate, personal nature of the space and the wedding as a whole. I cannot emphasize enough the value of finding an all-inclusive venue like CJ’s. They provided everything I needed for a beautiful wedding, and more. Our wedding planner was very professional and SO sweet, and she was there every step of the way to make sure my wedding day went perfectly (which it literally did- there was not a single hiccup the day of the wedding, which I hear is a rarity!)

Working with CJ’s Off the Square for our wedding was a complete dream! Our planners, Allie and Brette, worked closely with us to create a wedding day that we would remember always! Their professionalism, communication, and experience was something that we appreciated so much as we were new to the wedding planning process. I felt so taken care of as a bride and their organization of every part of the planning process was beyond helpful! Our guests have not stopped talking about our wedding and the fairytale like experience of the venue. We would recommend CJ’s Off the Square as the perfect garden wedding venue in the Franklin/Nashville area!

CJ’s is hands down the most magical venue. It’s beautiful beyond words and everyone there works so hard to make your visions come to life. Allison was our original planner and she was so helpful during our first meetings, when she went out on maternity leave I was worried about switching planners midway through the process but Brette was phenomenal!!!! When I came to her wanting to just flip everything on it’s head and change it up she was able to take my vision and run with it (even though I didn’t think I communicated it very well). The whole day was better than I ever could have imagined and Brette and her team did such an amazing job and the day went so smoothly. I wish I could live our wedding day over and over again. They work with great vendors and we’ve gotten so many compliments on every aspect of the day!!!

This may be rare to hear in this industry, but I have absolutely NO complaints about my experience at CJ’s!! From day one, they made us feel so important and were so attentive to what we were looking for. I can say with confidence that I know our day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without Brette and the rest of the wonderful team at CJ’s. If you are on the fence about if you need a planner or if CJ’s is the right space for you, you will not regret choosing them! They give you so many options, explain the process, cater to your ideas, and connect you with great vendors.
