  Amazing experience and beautiful photos!

  We had a small/intimate wedding but photography was one of the most important aspects for us. I came across Cavin's work and knew that I wanted to have her photograph our wedding. Her photos are all nothing short of stunning, and every other photographer's work I browsed after seeing hers paled in comparison! (not even kidding).
  
  Cavin was professional, flexible, communicative and responsive, ultra organized and seriously on top of everything from the beginning. As someone who prefers to plan ahead and early for things, particularly as ours was a destination wedding, I truly appreciated that she was so on top of things. This made SUCH a big difference in my wedding planning experience. As a bride, you really want to be informed about what to expect, instead of having to chase down your vendors asking them for more information (unfortunately, I found the latter to be a common experience with some of my other vendors). Cavin was so on top of things and proactive about the process, sending us helpful tips, guidelines, questionnaires, information on what to expect, and little things to do to prepare for photos, for both our engagement shoot and in anticipation of the wedding day, and sending this information well in advance so you know what to expect! She is also extremely thoughtful and attentive to detail. For example, when I mentioned it would be helpful to see the photo albums in person, she remembered to bring them a few months later to our engagement shoot. She also noticed little details in the process of creating our wedding album and gave us her tips and suggestions in creating the design and layout, which was invaluable (we haven't received the album yet but so excited for it and sure that it will be amazing!).
  
  I always felt at ease, knew that everything would be taken care of and that I did not have to worry that she would handle all photography-related things (all the other reviews for her really are true! this peace of mind and trust in a vendor is such an invaluable thing when you are trying to plan a wedding).
  
  On the day of our wedding, I felt completely at ease about our photography. I knew I did not have to worry and that Cavin would do her thing, and she did not disappoint!!!! We absolutely LOVE our photos, and all our friends and family have also commented on how amazing and talented our photographer is!
  
  As a person, we found Cavin super pleasant to work and interact with!! She is really friendly, kind and easy to talk to, and made all our friends and family feel very comfortable at the wedding. She provides a lot of direction and gently guides you with posing if you feel awkward at all in front of cameras.
  
  TLDR- Highly, highly recommend hiring Cavin as your wedding photographer!!! Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness and professionalism, and last but not least her incredible photography skills guarantee that you will have a positive, worry-free experience, be very well taken care of and receive stunning photos and memories of your wedding.

  Wedding September 2019

  Cavin is seriously the best photographer! I saw her instagram page when I started planning my wedding and I fell in love with her talent. She is honestly so professional and knows what she's doing. I was not nervous about my pictures at all on my wedding day because I trusted her work. She doesn't take million pictures of the same pose but she really tries to capture the best moment and really help you to look the best during each pose. She led me and made me feel comfortable all night. Thank you Cavin!

  I cannot express how Cavin was my best vendor. She kept in touch and was always there with prompt responses for my 100 questions I had. She even sends out emails with tips and tricks from her blog she has written herself. She also helped with our timeline and is very knowledgeable about realistic timeframes (cannot express how important this was/is). Our reception venue has very harsh, warm-toned lighting and it was vital for me to find someone who has done work at that same location and knows how to work around the orange/brown tones which you would NOT be able to tell from the photos Cavin did for us. I am super Type A personality, but I just let her run the show on my wedding day because I trusted her professionalism and skillset. I think what is best about Cavin is that she captures what you want but also knows what to capture. Everything she photographs is done with precision and her editing is beyond beautiful. She is able to elegantly edit her photos, but the colors are still bold and captivating. They are a touch of delicate and a hint of charming. I honestly did not feel the prettiest on my wedding day but Cavin was able to give me a gallery of photos that I am extremely happy with. She is like a fairy godphotographer. Her work speaks for itself. You will not regret booking her. God must love me because I was so fortunate she was available for my wedding date which was extremely popular, 08.18.18.

  Best photographer, ever.

  When Brad and I were looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who was professional, knowledageable, relatable, flexible, easy to communicate with, funny and someone we could trust. However, we knew it was unlikely to find all of that in one person.
  We were wrong. From the moment we emailed Cavin it was obvious our hunt for a photographer was over. She has ALL of those qualities and MORE. Yes, I said more! She went out of her way to not only make me and Brad feel comfortable but also took care of my family as if they were her own.
  
  She took our engagement photos and was there on our wedding day. She made the engagement session fun, relaxed and gently gave us tips and tricks to use. As for our wedding day: WOW. I honestly did not need a wedding planner that day. She had everything under control. She prepared for plan A, B, and C. I remember after the wedding ceremony she had to think fast because her great eye for detail KNEW a bench would be a great addition to a larger photo. She calmly grabbed the bench, carried it over and put it in place. The amazing thing about Cavin is that she has studied hundreds of wedding photographers, read countless books on photography and constantly seeks inspiration from the best of the best. Why? Because she wants to give ALL her clients the absolute best experience and photos. Period. If you have a type A strict family she’s the perfect photographer; if you have a Type B family she’s the perfect photographer; if you have a Type C-Z family she’s the perfect photographer.
  Last but not least, one of my (and my family) favorite qualities about Cavin is how she is conscience small things like her facial expressions. Your wedding party and guests could be on time, attentive, take direction well, and cooperate; or your wedding party and guest could be the complete opposite. Cavin’s smile, calmness, and professionalism stay the exact same. It really makes all the difference. All our pictures turned out beautiful, I mean PERFECT.
  
  If you have come across her site look no further. She is hands down the best wedding photographer you will find. That is a promise.

  We found Cavin while looking through instagram and instantly fell in love with her style of photography. We could clearly see all the details she included in every photo which to us really captured not only the moment but also the little things that one would tend to forget about.
  
  We booked Cavin for our engagement shoot, wedding day, and Korean/Persian ceremony events. She was so accommodating by driving from San Diego all the way to Orange County to shoot our engagement photos and Korean/Persian ceremony. She was truly able to capture all the special moments we had while at the same time, give us images that enable us to relive the moments she captured.
  
  Communication:
  Cavin kept in constant contact with us and was always quick to respond to emails regarding any questions we had. She also provided great informational items which helped us better prepare for the photos and not have to scramble around last minute for different things.   Cavin was our photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding. I still say the best part of wedding planning was the engagement shoot :) She used longer lenses so I was able to just relax and have fun without even realizing we were capturing photos!! Thanks to her creativity, patience and hard work I looked gorgeous in my wedding and engagement photos. Also, this process was stress free and fun :) honored to have had her as my photographer. I still have friends and family paying compliments to her work.

  Cavin was our amazing photographer for both our engagement shoot and wedding and reception! She was so kind to donate her services as a wish granted for wish upon a wedding. In this organization they donate dream weddings to individuals being faced with life threatening health cirxumstances. Her photo skills definitely fit the need of my husband and I. She captured every moment of our fairytale wedding. When corresponding with Cavin it's always an easy process, as well as her organization skills were so helpful. She always had everything prepared for the next process.She makes sure to send forms to fill out about what kind of photography you're looking for, what poses, specific photos or anything that you can think of to make your day just right. She is open to you telling her what you want or making the best suggestions for your photos. During the wedding Cavin and her assistant made sure to get every special moment that we wanted.
  Cavin keeps on contact with her clients on a regular basis, in order to update when photos were finished being uploaded and edited! Professional and very kind. It was so great having Cavin Elizabeth as our photographer.

  Honestly, we could not of ask for a better photographer. Our pictures were amazing, way beyond our expectation!!!! They still make me cry to this day every time I look at them. She did our engagement and wedding pictures. She made sure to fulfill every expectation we had. She was so professional. She was super fun to work with and just amazing overall. I have received so many compliments on our pictures from family and friends. I don't have one bad comment to say about our experience. Cavin is super creative which I loved and so did everybody else! Hands down the best around! I would recommend her to anybody. I would definitely use her again in the future.

  Honestly, we could not of ask for a better photographer. Our pictures were amazing, way beyond our expectation!!!! They still make me cry to this day every time I look at them. She did our engagement and wedding pictures. She made sure to fulfill every expectation we had. She was so professional. She was super fun to work with and just amazing overall. I have received so many compliments on our pictures from family and friends. I don't have one bad comment to say about our experience. Cavin is super creative which I loved and so did everybody else! Hands down the best around! I would recommend her to anybody. I would definitely use her again in the future.

  Cavin was an exception photographer at our wedding! She did a fantastic job before during and after the wedding. I cannot express how great she did! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding; we are able to look back and remember our wedding day perfectly!
