    Couldn't ask for more

    Everything was excellent Stu and his wife went above and beyond my expectations my wedding was by the beach then the reception by the pool on their beautiful house. The food was delicious and every detail was phenomenal from the DJ they use to the cake ,flowers etc. was a day we will never forget. The house was so much fun for the entire family from my kids to the adults.

    Completely inappropriate owner overstep

    Booked for 5 nights. The house was phenomenal however, the owner arrived the morning of the wedding and stayed the entire wedding. He was even served by the caterers before the bride and groom. He also arrived the morning following the wedding and began cleaning outside shirtless and remained on the property for 2 hours. This felt like a complete invasion of privacy on my honeymoon and significant overstep as owner to attend the wedding and eat and drink for free.

    Excuse me, this is what the guest paid for in advance !!!
    Number 1 this guest only stayed 4 nights, they never returned their contract & must not have read the Contract, House Rules or Arrival info because they violated a lot of them but that is not the issue here.
    We do not allow guests to have the run of the house & we charge a Event fee that is determined by the number of guests that attend the event, this fee includes a one of our staff members to handle the event & help coordinate with the wedding planner, vendors & clean during the event & the next morning after the event, for this event the staff member was myself, I am not the owner but the property manager in charge of the property.
    I arrived at 4:00 pm to handle parking & get the vendors, caterers, DJ, flower person in place, which I handled before the event being that the event was to begin receiving guests at 4:30 pm. I was served by the caterers while I sat in the corner out of the event, out of the view of the attending guests. Our staff member stays until the event & meals have taken place than leaves the event planner in charge, at this event I left at 8:30 pm.
    The guests we're advised that I would be back at 10:30 am to clean up the mess & coordinate the tent removal so the guests could enjoy the rest of the day, we do not like to show to early being the guests are usually hung over, again I guess the guest didn't read the written notice that was sent to then with their arrival info. Obviously, the guests have never had an event before if so they would have known that they paid an extra 10% through the event planner which is for feeding of all the help which was about 12 people, it is already in their budget, it is a standard practice in the hospitality business.
    The next morning I handled the sign off from the rental company & proceeded to pick up trash, clean the outside bathroom, washed down the decks & bar b q bar which we're filthy from the activities the night before, this is all done in the patio, yard & pool area & being that we are a beachfront pool property everyone is always in bathing suits with their tops off being that the humidity & temperature during the day is over 95 degrees, and with only one of the guests outside having a conversation with me as I handled my duties, it took 2.5 hours to complete the cleaning & left the property in pristine condition so the guests could relax & enjoy the rest of their vacation.
    We have had over 100 events since the owner acquired this property in 2016, we are one of the top Vacation Villas in Rincon, Puerto Rico & only a few properties even allow events, we have a 80%+ yearly occupancy rate and take pride in maintaining our property in top condition, not only are we very compliant about notifying all guests in writing & disclosing everything that will take place on the property in advance. However not all of the guests read the information that they are sent.
    We are surprised about this guest's review being that everything was disclosed to them at the time of booking & again before arrival.
