Brigantine Seafood & Oyster Bar Reviews

I had my wedding at the Brigantine Del Mar in November and it was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning. Jennifer was great with communication and answered all of my questions and any concerns I had. When we had our meeting, I met with both Jennifer and Kyle (the general manager) and they both gave us the feeling that they were ready to help us have the best day of our lives.

On the day of the wedding, Jennifer kept us on schedule, she guided us through our night and we were able to do everything we wanted. The servers were also amazing! During cocktail hour they made sure to find my husband and I and made sure that were were fed and happy. Having a separate bar for the wedding was great too. Awesome venue! Connect with Jennifer and Dave Tingle they are awesome to work with! Absolutly loved them and loved our wedding! Great venue with great vibes :))) Also, cost effective for how amazing the venue is!

We loved our wedding at the Brig! It was a suggestion from a friend and we really liked the space and it was affordable. We kept our guest list to 120 so we all fit comfortably outside in the garden. I loved the look of the string lights above and the fire pit. You don't need a ton of decor/flowers because it's so green out there already. The venue was pretty easy to work with and ordered the tables, chairs and white napkins for us. When we went to do our first walk through there was some confusion and no one was there to meet us or knew we were coming. After that, Jennifer was great and easy to reach via email. Dinner was a bit late but our DJ was great and just shifted some things around so it didn't affect our timeline much. We had the entrees pre-selected and the guests' choice marked on their name card but the waiters went around asking people what they wanted which was a bit annoying and probably slowed things down. We liked having the outdoor bartender and did have a full bar. If you want a relaxed venue with a great outdoor space in the heart of Del Mar you should seriously consider the Brig! Our guests had the best time and raved about the venue!

The Brigantine is a hidden jewel in San Diego! My wedding was gorgeous and beautiful in their garden setting. If you are looking for a relaxed setting with great food then this is the place for you.

Jennifer was great in always getting back with me. You better have someone for the day of as I did, because she is not on site for any questions to be answered.

We had some issues with the dinner being served late (which I understand can always be an issue but when everyone has already determined meals & the same salad) it should have been on time. Also, don't waste your time on an outside bartender. It doesn't make the drinks come any faster and if you do decide to have one, ask for a full stocked bar.

The Brigantine is a great place for a very relaxed wedding.

Planning the wedding with The Brigantine's Event coordinator was a dream! Communication was perfectly on point. The day of our wedding was even better, the rest of the employees were so helpful and kind. They did everything in their power to make everything perfect. Not to mention the value is incredible! Everyone was talking about how romantic everything was, days after the event. I am extremely satisfied with my experience.
