The real deal-- true professional with top-notch skills
Wow! Lauren's talent and professionalism were everything we could have hoped for from a wedding photographer. From the first time we met, she gave us helpful, warm guidance and didn't skip a beat communicating throughout the whole process. The results were ultra-high-quality, intimate, fun, gorgeous wedding photos that we LOVE and wonderful memories of having her involved. Also, many of comments from family and friends who adore the photos! Highly recommend Lauren! -

We had searched for and met with many photographers for our wedding day. None were as friendly, lively, and talented as Bonnie! We wanted a photographer whose style portrayed a marked contrast from the overly filtered photos we continually saw in other photographer's work. After meeting Bonnie we knew that she was that perfect person who could capture our day's moments as they were, so when we looked back at the photos, years from now, we could recall them the same. We were immediately drawn to her personality, furthered pulled in when we saw her photography was so natural, fun and engaging! We had a multicultural wedding, so we were hoping for a photographer that could capture in their work those diverse aspects. What Bonnie did was give life to moments through her photos, and we're extremely delighted to now call those memories ours! -

We used Lauren Slusher as our wedding photographer and she was fantastic. She had great professional energy throughout the entire process and was awesome in making sure our photos turned out amazing.
Had our wedding in late June 2019 and had our proofs by early Aug.
Lauren provided us an easy-to-use website that contained all of our photos and even hosted the website for a year. Little did we know that in 2020, we'd be asked to share our wedding story/photos through Lauren Slusher's network. It was great sharing and reliving this wonderful time through these timeless photos.

The photos speak for themselves. But what you won't see is how kind, calming, and professional Bonnie & Lauren are. We worked with Bonnie specifically for our wedding and I cannot express how amazing it was to know she was with us, capturing the most special weekend of our lives. Bonnie keeps calm through all of the chaos and will make you feel so at ease. We are so incredibly grateful to have beautiful photos that capture all of the special people in our lives. An Absolutely Sublime Experience
Where to begin when it comes to the magnificent Lauren Slusher? Her skills and her professionalism are unparalleled, especially when it comes to an industry as stressful and emotionally charged as wedding photography. Our COVID wedding could have very easily been yet another difficult sequence of events in 2020, and instead, in no small part thanks to Lauren, it was the most magical day I have ever experienced. And experience is the perfect vernacular for what Lauren does; she captures a shared experience and makes you feel like you have known her forever while doing it. Lauren truly creates a comfortable and positive space for you and your loved ones to shine in her work. Lauren is your number one choice when it comes to special event photography, she made our day one to remember! -

We feel so fortunate to have chosen to work with Bonnie and Lauren for our wedding—it was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! They are brilliant artists and truly passionate and fun people, and that comes across so clearly in their approach to photography. We knew we wanted photographers who would be able to capture all the emotional power, joy, and wonder of our wedding day, pull for genuine and naturalistic emotions from us (admittedly camera-shy people by nature) and our guests, and create a lasting memory of the day that we and our loved ones can enjoy for many years to come. Their philosophy of capturing “moments over details” fit so easily into our vision, and so we feel so lucky that we get to re-experience all of the planned and unplanned special moments from the day form their eyes and lenses!
The duo were so helpful in planning the day with us, were extremely timely and communicative throughout the planning process, both over video and email. On the day of the wedding, they gelled very easily with our guests. They were remarkably unobtrusive (almost invisible!), and allowed us to fully enjoy our day. Of course, the photos turned out more breathtaking than we could have imagined, and also arrived in a super timely manner. As an additional note, we chose to have both Bonnie and Lauren shoot with us, and had worked with Lauren to shoot our engagement photos. We requested that they take some shots on B&W film, and they are some of our favorites from the day.
In short, we truly can’t recommend them enough, and are so glad to have had these two special people be a part of our wedding day and the beautiful memories and mementos we’ll have to remember it by.Bonnie & Lauren's reply:

Hiring Bonnie was the BEST decision we made for our September wedding. During our first phone call (before we even hired B&L), Bonnie created a timeline, knew sunset times for the perfect lighting, and gave us the best donut suggestions. She is the perfect combination of professionalism and FUN. She made the planning process a breeze, and was easy to reach via email. Bonnie sent an preview gallery a week or so after our wedding (a wonderful surprise), and our final photos on the early end of the expected timeline!
The photos are absolutely stunning. It’s a beautiful blend of classic wedding shots and these incredible candid moments. I have never seen wedding photos like this before. Bonnie and Julie captured some many wonderful and quirky moments that we would have missed otherwise. We truly love each and every one of the photos! They went out of their way to make us, and our guests, feel so comfortable. I’m not sure how they managed to capture ALL of the details and special moments.
Bonnie & Lauren are worth every single penny. I can’t wait to work with them AGAIN. -

These are absolutely beautiful pictures! Thank you so much for capturing the day with such style, clarity, mood, your great lens, and for being so kind. We have enjoyed looking at these so much, and laughing our heads off at everyone's cry face in the bridal party. HAHA! You not only captured the classic moments that we wanted from a wedding photographer, but also some really great candid photos, and I love the mix of color and black and white. Having our wedding photography done by Bonnie was one of the best choices we made and we would choose her again and again, every time. It was important to me to choose very carefully when hiring a photographer because their work is how you will look back on your day. I spoke with lots of different vendors, and Bonnie & Lauren were the best when it came down to quality & price, hands down. Bonnie was so easy to get in touch with prior to the big day and responsive to my emails. On the day of, her and Sarah were punctual, calm, and knew exactly what to do in order to make magic happen. They captured all of the best moments. Every picture was beautiful, intentional, and interesting, unlike some other wedding photos I've seen where nothing is happening or it's unflattering of the people in it. We received so many compliments on our photos, it was undeniable that they were fantastic, thanks to Bonnie & Sarah. They were as nice as can be too and such a pleasure to work with. The photos were delivered to us within the timeframe promised, and we received our USB in a beautiful wooden box with a handwritten note. Any professional who takes the time to put special touches on their work and your experience with them is invaluable. Highly highly highly recommend!! -

Victor Sent on 06/26/2018We first met Bonnie at an open house at Loot Vintage Rentals in Austin, TX. She had samples of her work on display, and as we flipped through them we were impressed! The photos are of excellent quality and have a intimate, personal feel to them. They are some of the purest, most natural wedding photos and with a great mix of classic and unique composition. After reviewing our options we decided to book Bonnie for our wedding. One of the deciding factors was that as part of the package we would be receiving custom magazines of the photos which could be given as gifts to our parents. We found these magazines to be a great alternative to a hefty photo album. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we received the news that not only would Bonnie be our photographer, but Lauren would be joining her as our second shooter as well!
Bonnie and Lauren took every measure to make us feel comfortable and to capture the special moments. There was a great balance between posed and candid shots and they captured so many wonderful moments that we might have otherwise missed. Bonnie and Lauren worked so well as a team, and collaborated very well with our videographers from Moonlit Weddings. The best way to describe their process is efficient, professional, and fun! We received our full photo set and all of the photos turned out absolutely gorgeous. They got some stunning candid photos of friends and family along with silly photos and gorgeous portraits. Booking Bonnie and Lauren was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we would definitely love to work with them again in the future if the opportunity arises! -

Emily Sent on 05/20/2018Bonnie and Lauren did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding at Prospect House in Dripping Springs, Texas this January. The final photos were incredible, and we've received rave reviews on them. They did an especially fantastic job at capturing candid emotion on our faces as well as our guests. The planning, day of, and post-event communication has been easy as well. Most of all though, we're thrilled with the quality of the work, which is why we booked them in the first place. Highly recommended.
