  Everything was great and the video was AMAZING!!!

  My husband and I had Blu Couture for our wedding videography. I cannot say enough great things about this company. I have worked with them 3 times now. Two as a bridesmaid and one as the bride. On the day of our wedding, both the photographer and videographer were so amazing to work with.

  Maribel and Alena were incredible, so kind and talented. I really appreciated their subtle guidance for photos. It made the photos turn out beautifully without making them feel super staged so I could still enjoy the moment. They were both attentive and had great suggestions!

  A wedding to remember!

  We had a phenomenal experience with Blue Couture. We had Maribel as our main videographer for our engagement and wedding photos and she made us feel very comfortable. Maribel was also great at recommending different poses we hadn’t thought about. We received our video after our wedding and still can’t stop looking at them. We love how they turned out.

  We are extremely pleased with our decision to have Blu Couture capture our big day! Maribel is highly skilled at her craft - her use of natural light, attention to detail, and storytelling ability came through in the sample videos we viewed. At our initial consultation, her attentive, patient, and amiable personality made it easy for us to open up about our vision. Always professional, we greatly appreciated her ability to go with the flow on an inevitably crazy wedding day. Our final wedding video was outstanding and captured the day beautifully and authentically. We would definitely use Maribel again for future occasions and highly recommend Blu Couture to those looking for 5-star quality with a down-to-earth style that's easy to work with.

  Thank you for capturing my dream wedding!

  After a terrible experience with our previous videographer, our wedding planner referred us to Blu Couture, and from that first meeting on, we knew Maribel was passionate about her work! She is detailed, flexible to work with, and so kind. She asked us what was important to us on the day so she made sure to include it in the highlight video and when the trailer came out, we were so in shock that something as disheveled as a wedding day could come together so seamlessly. Our friends and family were very impressed with the highlight video and my now husband and I watch it all the time with wide grins on our faces. Blu Couture is fantastic and we have no problem recommending them to any couple looking for a genuine and extremely talented team!!

  Everything went smoothly and perfectly

  Maribel and Alena worked with us for our wedding and I could not have asked for a better duo to be with us throughout our planning process and wedding day. They are so professional and knowledgeable. Anything I had questions about or had concerns about they had already thought of and dealt with. We had a problem arise the week of our wedding with a vendor which Maribel and Alena resolved swiftly and without panic. They are so comforting, accommodating, and a joy to work with. I know they work with so many couples, but as a couple, we will only ever have one coordinator so they will always hold a special place in our hearts.

  On the wedding day, we thought it would be uncomfortable to be followed around with cameras all day - but we honestly didn't even notice!! Fast forward to seeing the finished videos, and we're in awe of all the amazing content that was captured, without ever feeling like we were being filmed. Maribel and her team felt more like friends that were guests at our wedding than a team working at it! Their personable, calming presence made everything that much better.

I wasn't going to hire a videographer because it was so expensive and they all wanted to charge thousands of dollars and create an entire cinematic movie production. All I wanted was to document the event so I thought about hiring a student. But then I realized that this was a once-in-a-lifetime event and I needed a professional. It was the second marriage for both us and all three of our children were in the wedding so it was very important that we capture this memory. So I started reading reviews and came upon Maribel’s name. I looked at her website and really liked her work. I was so lucky that she was available for my wedding day! I told her what I wanted and she worked with me to meet my budget. She was very responsive and very flexible. She and her assistant were wonderful to work with and they created the most amazing wedding highlight video which was included. She also provided me with all the raw footage on a hard drive (provided by me). We were overjoyed by Maribel and her team and their amazing

  They Delivered and It was Fabulous!!

  We can't say enough good things about Blu Couture. Maribel and the team were wonderful to work with from beginning to end!   The night was great and they video was even greater!

  Every moment was captured with perfection!

  Maribel at Blu Couture was a dream to work with. We hadn't originally intended to have videography, but when our grandparents couldn't attend, we decided that a videographer was critical. Maribel was highly recommended by our photographer (Laura Ford), so we connected with her and it was an instant match. MarMaribel immediately got what we were going for and delivered exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with her work. She has a beautiful perspective.

  Blu Couture was the easiest vendor for me to decide on. Our reception venue recommended them, so I contacted Maribel, and booked them without any hesitation. It was so easy, Maribel was so flexible and understanding, reminding me when payments were due and when I owed her a timeline of the day. Maribel was our videographer on the day of the wedding, and she was great! She worked with our shifted timeline and was very subtle, not in the way of anything. I've been to weddings before when the videographer was right in the spotlight, but honestly, I didn’t notice Maribel until my husband and I left the reception for a few minutes for some sunset photo ops. Maribel tagged along with our photographer for that.

  Having Blu Couture film our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The team was completely detail oriented. For example, they sent questionnaires wanting to know about us, our vision for the wedding, and the type of music and style we wanted the finished video to look like. Days before the wedding, Mandie sent over the cinematographer's schedule to make sure we were on the same page. Every time I emailed Mandie before and after the wedding she was prompt in responding which I appreciate (I'm a lawyer and like quick responses!!). During the wedding, I didn't even notice the cinematographer (which is great because I'm camera shy and thought I'd be awkward!) He captured beautiful moments of our family having a good time and I cannot be more pleased with the videos! We got a teaser, highlight and documentary video; the highlight included drone footage and time-lapse. It was money well spent and am so glad I listened to people on getting a cinematographer. It made the pictures really come to life. On the procedural side, I really appreciate Blu's payment plans they have. Weddings are expensive so not having to pay all at once made it do-able. I think one tip I would have for the bride and groom is to sit down and think of the songs and style you want portrayed in your video. In one of the questionnaires I made sure to give examples of other videos I loved. I was also vocal on what I didn't want my highlight video to have, which I'm glad I did so there was no miss-communication. The whole process was easy and simple. I would 100% recommend Blu Couture to all my family and friends without a doubt. Great products and even greater people.

  Having beautiful, professional footage of our day was important to us--we wanted both the details of having our full ceremony with vows, plus the toasts and prayers, recorded and a wonderfully-edited reel that captured all the joy and fun of the day. We got all of this with Blu Couture and for a completely reasonable, affordable price. They also traveled to Northern Virginia without charging an extra fee. Mandie and Marty and Maribel were always quick with emails both before we made a decision, pre-wedding, and post-wedding. I was a little nervous just because they were our only vendor that we didn't know or meet in-person beforehand, but Marty was a consummate professional and completely reliable and fun to work with. We hardly noticed him during the events of the day--so the cameras were not at all in our face--but he captured it all! We absolutely LOVE our highlight video. I watch it embarrassingly often and cry pretty much every time because it just brings back every freaking beautiful feeling of the day. I used to roll my eyes at people who described their weddings as the best day of their lives--thinking I was more focused on the marriage than the wedding--but honestly our wedding was the absolute best day of my life and I am SO grateful to have the most beautiful footage to remember it by.   Having Blu Couture for our wedding videography was the best experience from start to finish. My parents would not stop talking about how Maribel was so pleasant from very beginning. Her timely communication and ability to make us comfortable throughout the process was fantastic. My husband and I usually feel uneasy in front of camera but we couldn’t be happier with the end product. I absolutely love our film! The team captured most amazing moments which we will not be able to enjoy over and over again.

  Hiring Blu Couture Films to cover our wedding was without a doubt a best purchase we made. Now watching our own video from external viewpoint, it looks like a movie and us as celebrities (we do look good). We can easily share our wedding clip online with our friends and family, I believe this is the nicest feature helping us share our moments with people who couldn’t make it to the wedding.

They were very flexible when we had last minute changes to our venue. They promptly responded to our emails and calls. The team stayed in a back and gave us some good directions before time and the end results were simply beautiful. We really love the video and very happy that we worked with you.
