We are so glad to have found Black Tie Entertainment because our wedding surely would not have been the same without their services! Initially we reached out to book a DJ, but after we met with Dave, we learned just how much support they offered throughout the entire planning process. The online platform they have for their clients is comprehensive but easy to use and is extremely helpful for you to visualize what your day will look like. It also was a breeze to add additional options ranging from dance floor lights to a day-of coordinator, both of which we decided upon after signing the initial contract. We were able to tailor exactly what we wanted/needed and appreciated that we were able to stay within our budget, even with all these fantastic services.
We chose Solomon (Sol) for our DJ, and he was a hit! Not only did he keep the night flowing nicely as MC, but our dance floor was also full the entire night, which was amazing considering we had open dancing for over two hours. He understood what we wanted as a couple while also reading the vibe of our guests and was able to maintain a fun atmosphere without getting overly involved, which is exactly what we had hoped for. Guests of all ages have given us many compliments about how fun the party was and how good of a DJ we had!
We also had Victoria as our day-of coordinator, and she was BEYOND incredible. Though I did most of the planning prior to the month of, she took care of every behind-the-scenes detail leading up to the wedding, including communicating with our vendors and providing helpful suggestions for decisions I hadn't made yet. She chose to stay in the area the weekend of my wedding in case I needed anything between Friday's rehearsal and the event on Saturday, which was very thoughtful of her. The day of the wedding, she was an absolute angel. She seamlessly balanced setup, maintained the schedule, and organized family, wedding party, and guests alike. She kept me from full-on panicking when I thought I was late to arrive at the venue and took care of us until the very end of the event. We would not have been able to enjoy the wedding as much as we did without her handling the logistics while also putting our happiness at the center of everything.
Overall, we would highly recommend Black Tie Entertainment for anyone planning a wedding or similar large event. While they are extremely professional, they really care about you on a personal level. We are especially grateful to Victoria and Sol for their efforts in making our wedding a success and for making us feel valued through it all - we couldn't have done it without you! -

John was not only our DJ but he was a HUGE enhancement to our big day! From helping with planning the day of timeline to helping with song choices to create a nice vibe and flow for the day. He's so knowledgeable, keeps the day moving and on track, and plus he's just the nicest person!
You can tell, right from the start, that he's invested in every couples big day, and he goes above and beyond to make sure everything flows. 10/10 would definitely recommend John to anyone in need of entertainment services! -

DJ Eddy was absolutely incredible. He mixed in Bollywood and English music so seamlessly that all our guests went home exhausted! As the bride I didn’t want to leave the dance floor at all. He planned with us meticulously and got every single choice right! From cocktail hour to the final song everything was perfect - no notes! It was not too loud at dinner, and he helped my cousin sing our First Dance song by working on the track with her - it was a magical moment! He was also a great MC working with our planner so efficiently that everything went without a hitch! -

James from Black Tie Entertainment was the perfect DJ for our micro-wedding. He was happy to talk through every detail ahead of time, and I felt so confident that he understood the "vibe" we were going for. During the party, he was able to read the room and keep everyone on the dance floor until the last song. I'd highly recommend James for your event! -

DJ Eddy was an absolute star! He was a dream to work with from start to finish and we can't recommend him highly enough. Our guests are still raving about every song he played and how perfect they all were. Our only regret of the entire wedding was that the reception didn't last another few hours because we could have danced all night! -

We had a great experience from the start! You can expect a couple spaced out zoom meetings/calls that are just enough to feel confident about your night but not overwhelmed with communication. Kevin did such a great job and was very accommodating to our weirdly-spaced venue! Our friends and family had the BEST NIGHT and danced the night away! -

Our venue had a few preferred DJ’s but after interviewing them all, we decided to go with Black Tie Entertainment. We chose them due to their fair price and for how familiar they were with our wedding venue, relieving stress to myself and our wedding coordinator that the set up and sound would be perfect on our wedding day in our unique space. We were matched with Chris as our DJ. After one phone call with him, we knew he was a great fit! He has a wonderful personality and really understood what we were looking for on our wedding day. The evening went off flawlessly with people out on the dance floor the whole night! Chris really could tell what the audience was loving and catered accordingly. -

Black Tie was by far our first choice when looking at DJ, lighting, and photo booth for our wedding. We chatted with Mike and knew he was the guy for the job. Before the wedding he was great! Meetings with him were very helpful and motivated us to pick the best songs and organize a good timeline. The day of the wedding - he was GREAT, no AMAZING! He know all the right songs to play, got people on the dance floor, and got people excited for all the boring wedding events. We can't thank Mike for everything he did - he went far beyond what was expected! He was very flexible and open minded with bringing our own style to the wedding. -

John from Black Tie Entertainment was amazing. Three weeks before my wedding our original DJ decided he no longer wanted to be a DJ & we were left in a panic. After one conversation with John all of our panic left and we felt confident that John would be the best DJ for our wedding. Every meeting leading up to the wedding was incredibly detailed and organized, he truly outdid himself. John had an answer for every single one of our questions and even though we only had three weeks to finalize our plans it was such a smooth and stress free planning experience. Fast forward to the wedding day, it was an absolute dream. Every detail was carried out perfectly, every song we picked was played and every moment was everything I could have dreamt of. 10/10 recommend John from Black Tie Entertainment for all of your DJ needs! -

Eddy at black tie is absolutely phenomenal!!! My family is Colombian and wanted some great latin dance music and he delivered!!! He did a great job incorporating other pop and oldies just as we talked about in our prep meetings. At my wedding people jumped to their feet the first chance they got and never sat back down!! The music was so good that most people forgot to eat cake!!! My wedding was a PARTY because of Eddy, I can't thank him enough!!! -
