  Best Officiant Ever, Best Choice!

  The Best Day Ever Officiant was amazing!! John made our day so special. The ceremony was so personal and intimate. He took the time to get to know us before our wedding day and really listened to all we had to say and used that info to make our ceremony incredibly personal. I'm a wedding photographer, and I've been to a LOT of weddings in the past decade, but John is among the very best officiants. We eloped, and he was the perfect choice to make our day awesome. He even arrived early to scope the area out and found the best spot for us. He cares not just for the wedding day, but genuinely invests in his clients. We clicked with him the first time we met over the phone, and really feel like he fit right into our day perfectly. We didn't just get an officiant. We got a friend. If you haven't booked him yet, do it now! You won't regret it.

  Casual and intimate wedding

  My husband and I were so thankful that John was recommended to us!
  We were able to tell him our story, as crazy as it was, and he heard it beautifully into our ceremony. We use his recommendation of a location, and it couldn't have been better for what we were looking for. Meeting him on our wedding day was as casual and comfortable as we could have hoped for! Not only is he a great officiant, but a great friend that we hope to see in the future

  Absolutely amazing

  John was absolutely amazing and so professional yet friendly! I would chose him A MILLION times again for my wedding, he made everything so easy and stress free. He was very respectful and got to know me and my husbands story to make everything perfect and personal. I would recommend him to everyone, if you’re looking for an officiant, John is definitely the guy!

  Perfect Ceremony

  From the very beginning, John was extremely responsive. I never questioned hiring him as our officiant because he truly makes sure that the ceremony is exactly what the couple wants and provides just the right amount of guidance and options to help you make decisions. He came prepared for the day off with a big smile on his face. His presence was calming and welcoming, which is exactly what my husband and I wanted for our ceremony. Even after the ceremony, when pictures ran longer than expected, he stayed patient, waiting for us to sign our paperwork.
  Bonus points because I didn’t even notice him step to the side, but he was nowhere to be seen in our first kiss photo! I’ve heard about a lot of officiants forgetting to step to the side to be out of the shot, but that was not the case with John.

  John is the Best!!!

  Travis and I had such an awesome experience with John as our officiant. He wrote out a very thoughtful, personal & well written ceremony script that incorporates everything we were hoping for! He made sure our ceremony was perfect, directed guests where to go afterwards & made the whole marriage license process so easy! We highly recommend John as an officiant, he truly made our wedding the best day ever!!

  Working with John was great!! From our first e-mail interaction to our zoom meeting he was super responsive and overall a great human to work with. He crafted a personalized, special ceremony script for our big day. I would definitely recommend working with John as our officiant!

John officiated my friend’s wedding a few years before ours and when it came time to plan ours, I was still thinking about how great her ceremony was and she highly recommended him. John was a joy to work with every step of the way. From the first Zoom call getting to know us, giving us vow options (we wanted a play on traditional vows), helping us craft a ceremony script (that made me cry happy tears every time I read through it), to the wedding day! The ceremony was perfect. Beautiful, heartwarming, and funny! Everything we wanted. Hire John to officiate your wedding- you will be happy you did!!!

  Fun and Professional Wedding Officiant

  John was amazing to work with starting on day one! He really helped my wife and I navigate and plan our ceremony while also listening to all of our wants and ideas. Additionally, John was always so quick to respond and jump on a call if needed which is such a valuable thing while trying tot plan a wedding. After our ceremony, many of our family and friends even asked who our officiant was due to him doing such a great job! Finally, I would highly recommend John to anyone who is looking for a fun yet professional officiant.

  The perfect officiant for the perfect ceremony

  John was the absolute best officiant. We had an initial call where he asked us all about our relationship, engagement, etc. and it really felt like he was listening to us. We loved that he was so into music and “nerdy stuff” - we felt like we could relate to him. He then sent us an outline of the script and, closer to the big day, the script itself. The ceremony went perfectly, and his script was really amazing - he really captured our relationship and us as a couple. All of our guests raved about how great he was afterwards. He was so kind, thoughtful, and most importantly, organized! He took care of mailing in our paperwork and we received our marriage certificate really quickly in the mail. Seriously, if you’re thinking of hiring John, just DO IT!

  Spectacular officiant

  He made our ceremony so perfectly catered to us as a couple and our story. We loved the little last minute details he put in there after finding out we were pregnant. Little touches like that went a long way. Not only was the ceremonial script perfect but John was very flexible with us with some last minute changes and has such a great personality to boot. We couldn’t have picked a better officiant for us.

  Wonderful officiant

  John officiated our wedding and we met him via Zoom for premarital counseling leading up until the wedding. John is a wonderful and kind person whom we enjoyed getting to know over the last year or so. He customized the ceremony to all of our wishes (we had a Christian ceremony with nods to my husband’s Jewish family as well). We had many of our guests comment that the ceremony was so perfect. He did an amazing job and I highly recommend him as both an officiant and for his counseling!

  Exactly what I'd hoped for

  I really wanted a non-religious wedding ceremony that was quick and to the point (both my husband and I are shy). Everything went exactly as I'd hoped! John was super friendly and listened so well to all of our requests and concerns. I could not recommend him more highly.

John was incredibly personable from the get go and took the time to listen to our story while getting to know us as individuals and as a couple. When it came to our ceremony, John listened to our vision, offered suggestions, and was open to feedback and changes. He was so easy to work with and communication was always open. John is passionate about bringing couples together and that comes through in his work. The day of our ceremony, his read was perfect. He is so charismatic and easy to listen to! Our ceremony was the perfect blend of faith, storytelling, and our vows. If you are looking for an officiant who will bring your vision to life, John is your guy! We cannot thank him enough for his time and dedication to making our wedding ceremony better than we could have even imagined!

  Amazing wedding done with John

  John was such an amazingly caring and attentive officiant. I am from Washington but my husband and I currently live in Colorado. John was so patient with us and scheduled online meetings with us to get our ceremony planned out. Despite being no stranger to the issues that can occur when logistics aren’t planned face to face, meeting up with John on our wedding day was so easy and everything went so smoothly. He also did a wonderful job making sure our paperwork was in order and he was extraordinarily responsive to questions the entire process. Our families also hail from two different religious backgrounds, Orthodox and Lutheran, and John did a great job making sure our ceremony suited both sides of the family and our combined backgrounds. I would definitely recommend John as a wonderful officiant to those looking to get married!

  John did absolutely amazing as our officiant. I didn’t know much about the whole process works and he helped through each step of the way! He is so kind, friendly and deeply passionate and invested in his work. He personalizes it as your vision to make your wedding ceremony beautiful. He offers pre-marital counseling as well! He has the right package for everyone. I contacted him over a year in advance (because I’m that bride) but he locked my date down. He’s amazing. Definitely highly recommend!!!!

  Best Officiant Ever!!!

  Our officiant, John Candler, was exceptional! He was wonderful to work with, listened to and implemented our requests, and tailored the ceremony to be representative of us as a couple and family. My favorite moment from the entire wedding was the ceremony, and John was a huge part of that. Thank you, John, for helping to make our day extra special!!!

  Amazing officiant!

  John was amazing to work with and our ceremony went off without a hitch! He was flexible with us wanting to do a quick ceremony and also helped incorporate special pieces within the ceremony that our families wanted. I would hire him again without question and will be recommending him to all our friends/family!
