Tia was very responsive and flexible and coordinating for my wedding. She was able to provide three totally different but equally stunning hair and makeup looks for my wedding weekend and truly transformed me. She has a keen eye for details and is precise in everything that she does. I very strongly recommend this company to anyone! Also would like to note that I am South Asian and she had a great selection of products for my skin tone. -

Tia has a whole team of traveling hair and makeup artists and she pairs each wedding with artists who will fit the bill.. she absolutely nailed it on ours! My makeup and hair artist was Kristin and she did all my bridesmaid’s hair as well. Megan did all the bridesmaids makeup and both of them were so talented and efficient! Cannot recommend them more! -

What a wonderful experience! I was a guest at a friends wedding and hired this team to style me and my two friends, so we could feel glamorous for the our friend April’s big day. They came to my home, and did all of our Hair & Makeup. Not only did it last all night, but we got so many compliments. We were very proud to tell them that Candice and Meghan from Beauty Unveiled by Tia made us beautiful for the day! -

Always a bridesmaid never a bride -- by far the best experience ive ever had
I have been in multiple weddings -- a classic "always a bridesmaid" situation. Honestly, I've never loved hair or makeup. I'm very particular about how my skin looks and I always feel like my hair looks like a teased ratty mess or the curls fall out as soon as the artist leaves. My photo never actually resembles the inspo photo. It's just comical at this point. Between 2023-2024 Ive been in 9 weddings. Considering average hair and makeup services are about $200 I could've taken a vacay for what I've spent being a bridesmaid just on the beauty services.
Going into my friends wedding last weekend, I thought "here we go again...." but I was floored. Seriously OMG. I cant remember the names of the artists that worked on me (sorry there was a lot going on) but I have never felt so beautiful. I didn't even want to wash off my makeup and I 100% slept in my hair. When I woke up the next morning it was STILL curled as beautifully as when she finished the day before (AND THE PINS STAYED). When I was talking to the artist (very personable btw), she explained that this team focuses a lot on education for bridal hair and makeup and OMG it shows. Every single bridal party member looked so stunning. And not that we're ugly girls to start with, but all of our natural beauty was just like magnified....
I mean I'm seriously considering booking this team the next time Im in a wedding solely for myself. Thank you for putting emphasis on training artists to ACTUALLY give us paying clients something we a feel confident in. This was the best experience I've ever had. -

The Perfect Look!
Thank you so much for helping me feel so confident and beautiful on my wedding day! I was paired with Megan and she was great to work with. Megan was super sweet and helped explain different things to me that would work best for my features. She helped calm all my day of nerves and made me feel so beautiful and confident. -

Tia and her team are *chefs kiss*. Tia literally pulled off a miracle on my mom who had brain surgery 6 months prior to my wedding. Check out her Instagram for the transformation. I felt like a princess. I went with something completely different than what I did for my trial and it was BEAUTIFUL! I can’t recommend Tia and her team enough! -

Choosing Beauty Unveiled by Tia for my wedding hair and makeup was one of the best decisions I made! They made working together so simple and seamless and Tia responded quickly to all of my questions via email. On the actual day, they were so efficient and kept us ahead of schedule. Everybody’s hair and makeup turned out stunning! And I felt so beautiful thanks to Tia (hair) and Kristin (makeup). My look stayed in place all night, with only very minor touch- ups required! I would highly recommend Beauty Unveiled to other brides in the Milwaukee area! They are true professionals and so amazing to work with!

Talented Make-Up Artist Worth the Trip!
Recently doing a maternity boudoir shoot, I knew I wanted to get my make-up done because, let's face it, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to make-up. Tia listened to what I envisioned and really made me feel and look just stunning. She took her time, gave great conversation during application and made the whole process a really positive one. I drove an hour just to see her and would definitely do it again for any event I'd need in the future that would need her skills and talent. Thank you Tia for the perfect experience and make me feel special during a time when growing a baby tends to make us feel unattractive, exhausted, and not very confident. -

Tia was incredible! Hands down one of the best experiences I have had with a beauty stylist! (I am a florist) She was so kind and worked really hard to make my bride look beautiful! She also did a needed retouch, that she suggested no one had even requested one. She is someone who truly has a talent and cares so deeply.

I contacted Tia a few days before a fundraiser event to see if she could put some curls on my hair because the last time she did this for senior pictures they lasted for days and looked great. She came in early on Sat for me and the curls look great. Even popped on some eyelashes for me as well. -

Tia is a superstar! She did hair for 8 people and makeup for 2 the morning of the wedding, finished right on time, and nobody felt rushed. Half of the people just sat down and said "I have no idea" and Tia just ran with it. Everybody looked gorgeous and somehow very 'them,' even with no direction. She was really friendly and skillful. The hair and makeup trial went very smoothly (I was so sad I had it in the evening and had to take it off so soon!), and her daughter did a great job occupying my wife while she waited for me. -

Long story short, my bridal party and I did not receive the full/complete services we paid for. We had so many issues through the services and after they left the majority of my bridal party had make-up crisis (make-up breaking down, oily skin, creasing, patchy shadow, etc.) and my curls were flat by the time we took pictures. They did not book enough time, the MUA struggled with my lashes at the trial and did not offer to help or place lashes on my wedding party on the wedding day because she might not be able to do it well due to our eye shape or have time for the clusters (I had to do the lash strips for some or they had to learn how to use lash clusters). Tia was very unprofessional to my review and the negative feedback. The constant deflecting and blaming the wedding party was uncalled for. She refused to acknowledge any of the issues we encountered. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! -

I intially had a great experience with the stylist I booked and paid for from my trial. Fast forward to wedding day. The stylist I booked was unfortunately not able to make it so they sent another stylist, no big deal right? Wrong. Long story short, it was not good. Majority of my bridal party hated their hair and as the bride, I was also very unhappy with how mine turned out. And the company was already paid ahead of time with gratuity automatically included. -

Would not recommend
I really hate to write bad reviews; however I remember reading hair/ makeup reviews for hours and hours when I was deciding who to hire for my wedding and I would have loved to have read a review like this. I hired Beauty Unveiled by Tia in Aug 2023 for my 9/21/24 wedding. I booked the “elite” premium HMU for myself, the bride, and booked HMU for 6 bridesmaids and was so excited! Tia did my hair/ makeup for my engagement photoshoot in Sep 2023 and I loved it! However, the company decides which hair/ makeup artist you are paired up with… in Feb 2024 I had to schedule my hair and makeup trials where I had to travel to their location. I had to drive to Kiel for my makeup trial (1 hour drive each way). I was wanting full glam, like Kim Kardashian glam, and left with my makeup looking like a middle schooler did it. It was extremely blotchy, didn’t match my skin color and there was absolutely nothing “elite” or “glam” about it. The makeup artists next trial appointment was there a few minutes early and sitting in her living room waiting right next to me, so I did not have the opportunity to tell her how unhappy I was with everything). The first 4 pictures are pictures I took in my car, 5 min after I left. I broke down bawling in my car, never had I anticipated my bridal makeup looking as awful and terrible as it did. I emailed Tia about the situation and voiced my concerns about the quality of the makeup and was given 2 options: 1. Do another trial with the same artist or 2: Be released from my contract without penalty. I was very disappointed that there was no effort to find me a better artist.
I did go to my hair trial a few days later (another 1 hour drive each way). I thought the hair trial looked okay, but not fabulous. I paid for both trials and tipped both of them (even though I wasn’t happy, they still provided a service). I ended up getting a referral to another company that was AMAZINGGGG and available somehow on the day of my wedding. She got my into her studio for a hair/ makeup trial 2 days later and she NAILED IT. I have attached pictures of that trial as well to show what I was looking for.
My takeaway is that Beauty Unveiled by Tia is a great option for someone that normally wears little to no make up and is looking for a more “natural” style. Not someone who is wanting full Hollywood glam. I did end up cancelling my contract and hiring the 2nd artist that I found.
