Excellent experience!

We used Danny Gray for our DJ this past weekend for our wedding! He was so professional, punctual, communicative, responsive, and played great music! He also made sure to play the requests that we picked for the ceremony and reception! He was truly a pleasure to work with and I would ABSOLUTELY work with him again if the opportunity presents itself! Thanks so much for helping to make our wedding day so special Danny!!! We had a blast!!

Larry = best dj in virginia!

We want to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional job Larry did at our wedding at the Cavalier Hotel. We are extremely grateful for all the effort he put in to make our day so memorable - from the wedding party intro, to navigating the last minute outfit change announcement, to even making a really cool sign with the Cavalier logo on the video booth. His attention to detail, expertise in getting (and keeping!) guests on the dance floor, plus overall professionalism - wow! We were beyond impressed. Gabe and I truly feel like we had the best DJ and just want to take a moment to express our gratitude.

In brief, Gabe and I are still recovering from the wedding festivities... our feet are still swollen from dancing (a good thing!) and we are still receiving messages from family + friends about what a wonderful night everyone had. Kudos to Larry (/Astro team!) on being the best of the best!

The Best Night Ever!!

DJ Larry D!!!!!
WOW WOW WOW!! Perfection!!
We made it very clear on what kind of ceremony and reception we wanted and Larry went above and beyond and delivered!
He cut our music for the ceremony perfectly there wasn't a singe bump in the road all day long.
He made sure to keep the party going all night long and read the room then deliver the vibe!
On top of being an amazing DJ he was also so kind to the other vendors, helpful when he could be, and made sure my husband and I were having a good time all night long!
He felt like a wedding guest and you could tell he was truly having a good time being there!

Danny is the best!

If you live in VB you've definitely heard of Astro and that's because they are the best of the best! Danny was incredible through the whole process and VERY patient with me as I am quite indecisive! The ceremony music worked pout perfectly and people have even commented on how smoothly the transitions and everything went! The whole evening, Danny just kept the flow going! Everyone was dancing and having the best time and we could not have been happier with the day!

This vendor helped us make our special day so perfect!

My husband is military, so we planned our wedding in about two weeks. While we were so stressed planning the wedding, Danny helped make our day so special. We would not have been able to have such a perfect and smooth night without Astro Event Company. The service for this company is outstanding. I cannot rave about this vendor enough. If you are looking for someone to make your day special and have a great time, hire this company for your event!!!

Danny is the right choice for any event.

If you are trying to decide who to hire to DJ your event- it's Danny 100%. My mom actually recommended him after attending another wedding he did and after reaching out to check his availability, I knew he was the right choice. He was friendly, outgoing, and knowledgable. We had a phone meeting to go over our vision for the wedding and Danny was on the same page immediately. He was easy to reach via email, text, or phone call and reached out at regular intervals to ensure I had no questions or concerns. He even talked to me the day before my wedding to make sure he had everything correct so the day would go smoothly.
The wedding went off without a hitch and he had the dance floor full ALL NIGHT. It was exactly how I wanted and felt like a huge party with all my family and friends. If you need a DJ for your wedding or any event, choose Danny! You won't regret it!

Danny absolutely smashed it! Completely hit every mark that we were looking for. I had dozens of guests come up to me and ask where we found someone so talented! DJ Cory of Astro was EXCELLENT!

He was quick to coordinate with us prior to our wedding, and then made sure he was covering the fine details throughout the night. Very, very happy with our decision to go with Astro. We’ve attended 3 weddings since our own and, while we might be biased, our DJ Cory was far better than any other we’ve seen.

Astro offered the perfect atmosphere for our wedding

We got married on 10/28/23 and Freddy Cabrera of Astro Event Company was the DJ. He was perfect! We would absolutely hire him again for any event. He listened and understood what type of mood and atmosphere we were going for with our wedding and he nailed it, from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. He was the perfect host for the evening, from taking requests to accepting changes on the fly. Every song selection he made was a certified banger!!! He had everyone on the dance floor from children all the way up to grandparents. And the transitions between songs were always smooth. We sincerely can't rate Freddy and Astro DJ highly enough. They were perfect.

We also rented a photobooth from Astro, and a younger man named Bryant (I believe that is his name) was the photobooth attendant, and he was absolutely perfect as well. He was fun and energetic. He offered ideas for poses if guests didn't know what they wanted to do. He was never bored or disinterested in being there. His presence and energy at the photobooth was a small detail that added greatly to the wedding. Truly appreciate him for that.

Danny is the best DJ ever!

Where do I even start? Danny is the BEST DJ you will ever find in the Hampton Roads area. Luckily for me, Danny was not just my DJ for my wedding but he is also a good friend. Years ago I told him that if I ever got married that he would be DJing my wedding. In October that day finally came around for me.....Danny even came down to our little town of Ayden NC where we now live to do our wedding.
Danny knew exactly what to play and knew how to read the crowd. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long. One of my bridesmaids even told me that she didn't feel like she was in Ayden the night of our wedding but felt like she was in some big city.

Great Dj Services with excellent communication!

We learned about Astro Event Co. from attending our friends wedding and loving their DJ. We decided to book Astro Events for our wedding, and start to finish the communication and service was excellent. From booking, Jeremy was very kind and answered our questions. We were given templates to fill in for explaining day-of order of events, and where special songs were needed. Those templates ended up being what my wedding planner and I utilized most the day-of as well since they were very detailed. We were assigned our DJ, Freddy C. and he was amazing! He was very kind and professional leading up to the wedding and had great communication and was there for any changes or requests we needed to make. At the wedding, the music was great and flowed perfectly! He was very encouraging and enthusiastic from start to finish and had a great positive attitude. We learned about Astro Event Co. from attending our friends wedding and loving their DJ. We decided to book Astro Events for our wedding, and start to finish the communication and service was excellent. From booking, Jeremy was very kind and answered our questions. We were given templates to fill in for explaining day-of order of events, and where special songs were needed. Those templates ended up being what my wedding planner and I utilized most the day-of as well since they were very detailed. We were assigned our DJ, Freddy C. and he was amazing! He was very kind and professional leading up to the wedding and had great communication and was there for any changes or requests we needed to make. At the wedding, the music was great and flowed perfectly! He was very encouraging and enthusiastic from start to finish and had a great positive attitude. We greatly enjoyed working with Freddy and would recommend him and Astro Events to anyone needing DJ services! :)

Excellent experience from start to finish!

I started my talks with Danny and Larry came highly recommended. It was an excellent choice. Astro Entertainment and Larry made the night perfect and personal for our daughters wedding. Lots of fun and people out on the dance floor which is all you can ask for. I would certainly use them for another event. Thank you for an excellent evening!
