  It was such a fantastic experience not just working with Ashley and Todd, but watching them work together. They both have an incredible understanding of the importance of lighting in photography and film. Beyond their technical skills which speak for themselves, the couple team kept us on schedule without stress, gave us excellent instructions (for epic photos + motion), and made us laugh the whole day through. We had a great time working with Ashley + Todd and highly recommend their services for capturing any special life moment. Thank you for helping make our day perfect.   Though it's only a few day after our wedding so I do not have all of our pictures yet I am positive we got the best photographers we could have for us! I absolutely hate being in front of any sort of camera and they made it so much less stressful than I thought it would be. Talking with us and cracking jokes the whole time. In our few preview photos you see our genuine joy of the day on our faces and that the most important thing. Not to mention they didn't shy at all from our four crazy fur legged kiddos that were a part of the day. I could not imagine any other photographers being more worth it!!!

  My fiancé and I traveled from South Dakota to Florida to view wedding venues... Ashley and Todd responded to our engagement session request right away. They were very accommodating to our schedule and location in Destin. Our engagement session was unforgettable and pictures were amazing!! Our favorite product was the engagement video-- it's a must do!!!! I would highly recommend Ashley and Todd :)

  Ashley and Todd are truly incredible photographers. They captured so many wonderful details and priceless memories from our wedding. They were professional, always on time (early actually), they're very good at what they do, and they always made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Their prices are very reasonable for as much time they spend before the wedding, and on the wedding day itself. They were actually with us an entire 12 hours on our wedding day!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful they were!

  Working with Ashley and Todd was extremely easy. They were very organized leading up to the event, friendly to speak with, and produced a beautiful video we'll have forever! Their ideas were creative and they were able to guide us throughout the day to obtain perfect shots. Special moments were captured and put together with such creativity and emotion. We highly recommend their work and are pleased with every aspect of their talent and professionalism!

  This couple was amazing to work with! From the start they made us feel comfortable in front of the lenses. They captured all of the special moments and the day after the wedding we already had a trailer for our video and many pictures to share with our friends and family that couldn't make the wedding. They were very professional and the quality of service is excellent. Pictures and video is the only thing you will have to cherish your wedding in years to come and it is definitely worth the money you will spend. Ashley and Todd are amazing at what they do! They have a gift and vision for photography/videography and will create a perfect keepsake for your special day!

  So happy we were recommended these photographers , they were awesome! Pictures turned out beautiful and the video was like watching a movie! Very top quality. They are a sweet couple and make you feel very comfortable while taking pictures. All of my guests were so impressed and kept complimenting on the pictures they previewed. We loved them!

  Under the Stars definitely surpassed my expectations. I hate having my picture taken, and I had been dreading posing for hours in wedding photos. But somehow they made it painless and even kind of fun. The most impressive thing about Under the Stars was the wedding video they put together. The two minute trailer had every member of my family in tears.   Ashley and Todd were amazing! When I first contacted them, I mentioned that we would be eloping in the weeks to come and moving. Not only were they fantastic about coordinating our wedding photography from four states away, they even jumped on board and captured the romantic spontaneity of our elopement! The photography was great - they met every request (even the silly ones asked on the spot), made great time, captured moments I didn't even know they were there for, and were on site for nearly 12 hours. They went over and above on all of their promises. At the reception, we got to watch a slideshow of the photos taken earlier in the afternoon, and the very next day we were experiencing our wedding from new eyes with our video trailer. As a bride, you miss out on a lot of the details you work hard to plan out like cocktail hour and hand painted table runners. That made choosing a photographer especially important to me, and thanks to Under the Stars I have all of those memories on my hard drive now (less than a month after my wedding!!). If you go with these guys, I guarantee you will not regret it!

  I met Ashley and Todd when I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding a few years ago. I was so impressed with them. Not only are their pictures incredible, but they are also EXTREMELY easy to get along with. they are very good at making you feel comfortable. When my husband and I got engaged, I knew I needed to have them at our wedding. They were the first people we met with and booked. I don't think i have ever taken pictures before and felt that the emotion that was captured was real… in all of the pictures we were really laughing and having a great time. The video that they did was amazing. I was nervous about having a "wedding" video… afraid that i would look awkward and i would be uncomfortable watching it. What they made though wasn't a typical wedding video where you just see us saying our vows. This video is so well done that i can't watch it without sobbing. It makes you really feel the emotion that was felt that day. I have never been so impressed.
  
  Ashley and Todd are also very good at the whole customer service aspect of their business. They always made us feel like they really appreciated us and have gone way above and beyond to make us feel special. They did more than i would have ever expected.

  Ashley and Tod are AMAZING!! I used them for my bridal portraits and wedding and every photo turned out flawless and beautiful! They are so creative and had so many ideas for different poses and ways of editing the photos. In the past when I would hire a photographer for a special event they were never prepared and would just stare at you with a blank face until you made up your own poses...this was NOT the case with Ashley and Todd...they had sketches drawn out of different ideas which was such a time saver. I recommend them 100 million% to anyone looking for a photographer. I know I will definitely be using them again :)

  I would 1000% recommend Under the Stars Photography (Ashley and Todd) as both a photographer and videographer! They were AMAZING! They made my husband and I feel completely comfortable. They really became more of our wedding party than our photographers! They captured so many photos that I had no idea they were even around for, that have become some of our favorites. They were very organized and really made you feel like they were excited about getting the most amazing shots they could. We have received so many compliments about our photos. Now to the video.... We are completely overwhelmed with our video. They did such an AWESOME job with it. We cry every time we play it. The music, sound, and highlights are perfect. Our friends, family and even strangers haven't stopped talking about it. We are so happy that we will have a video that truly captured our perfect day!

  My husband and I had a TOMS shoes themed wedding. For our wedding we wanted to start the ceremony off with a cute video of ourselves, and kind of explain the TOMS theme to our guests. Under The Stars Photography shot our video, and is seriously the best video ever! It was exactly what we imagined it to be, and our guests raved about it! They had awesome ideas and we had such a fun time while shooting the video with them. I would totally recommend their services to anyone looking for a photographer or videographer! Their work is truly amazing!! :)

My husband and I decided to get a engagement and wedding package with them and we are very happy with both. We were nervous to have our photos taken for the engagement but Ashley and Todd made us incredibly comfortable, when we left that day we feeling like we had new friends. Ashley emailed me several times with suggestions for wedding planning and would respond back quickly to my emails. On my wedding day they showed up early and actually helped ease my nervousness. Ashley and Todd work so wonderfully together they are fun to watch. My friends and family could not stop raving about how great they both were and how wonderful the pictures turned out.   Ashley and Todd were incredible! I recommend them to everyone I know who has an event they need a photographer for. From the very beginning of the process they were wonderful.
  
  Ashley is super responsive to emails and always made sure all of my questions and concerns were answered as quickly as possible.
  
  They were extremely well organized. Prior to our wedding they sent us a questionnaire so that they could make sure they got all of the shots I wanted. They knew exactly what they were doing and were able to flawlessly direct my large bridal party and our families.
  
  Ashley was pregnant at the time and let us know that if she wasn't feeling well on the day of our wedding they would hire a second shooter to work with Todd. Well Ashley ended up feeling fine, but they brought along the extra photographer anyway- just in case!
  
  My favorite thing about Ashley and Todd is their photography style. They take pictures and send you those pictures after LIGHT editing. I love that with Ashley and Todd you're getting a real image of your event that isn't heavily photo-shopped. They know how to use their equipment and produce beautiful images from skill, not a computer.
  
  They're also FAST. Right after my ceremony, there was already a preview site of my images. Within a week, I was viewing all 700 beautiful photos.
  
  As you can tell, I could go on and on because Ashley and Todd and the BEST photographers in the area. I'd recommend them to anyone for any type of event.

  I had a small budget for my photography and I was anxious about finding someone that was talented, professional, eager, and a good listener for my price range. Ashley and Todd were all these things and more. Since I live in Texas I met with Ashley only once in person before my wedding day. After our meeting I knew I had found my photographer. Even though I was all the way in Texas Ashley and Todd would still check up on me and even mailed me a Starbucks gift card with the sweetest note. Planning a wedding can be stressful but they made it so easy! I highly recommend them, they are the sweetest couple and their love for each other and the work they do comes out in their pictures. I have received non stop compliments from coworkers, relatives, and friends on our pictures -I couldn't be happier!

  I wanted to surprise my husband for our anniversary and decided to do a 1940's journalism-themed pin-up photo shoot. Even though this isn't Ashley and Todd's typical session, they were amazing! They helped me pick poses and they made me feel super comfortable during the shoot. They are such a wonderful team to work with! Their packages were easy to understand - no minimum print requirements or strange language - and the quality of the photo book and prints were outstanding!

They tried to provide everything we desired and when our wedding day rolled around, they took charge so we didn't have to worry about the photography at all! Their services may seem a tad bit expensive, but what you get is worth the money! The keepsakes will last us a lifetime and they're all we have now besides the memories. They are very friendly people and so easy to work with. They helped to make our day stress-free!
