Ashley came as a recommendation via our planner. We worked with Ashley for our engagement shoot in Portland and destination wedding in Hood River, OR. She was very helpful in helping us be comfortable in front of camera and answering any questions we had throughout the process. We could tell her any ideas we might have, and we worked together to pull it off. Everything was very organized. We felt we were in very capable hands the entire time. Very happy with how everything turned out! -

Best photographer ever!
Ashley Cook is an absolute rock star!!! First I must apologize for my procrastination in writing this review. My then fiance and I hired Ashley to do our engagement photos and day-of photos for our recent wedding. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the results and the experience. Ashley is a true master of her craft, extremely professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Her talented hands helped guide us throughout our stressful wedding day. She was there from beginning to end, and even stayed late to make sure she captured all of our special moments. And boy howdy! Did she capture them! Several of our friends cried when they witnessed the true passion and many emotions that she captured on film of our special day. She even managed to capture the small intimate moments between our guests, as well as everything from the small details to the big moments.
Ashley went way, way above and beyond for us! She even poured our champagne for toasting! She worked so well with all of our friends and family, wrangling them for our group photos, making everyone comfortable in front of the camera, and the guys especially had a blast when she was shooting the groomsmen with the groom, pre-ceremony.
From start to beyond the finish, Ashley exceeded our expectations, giving us the gift of priceless memories captured on film. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you Ashley for everything!!!Ashley Cook Photography's reply:

Couldn't have picked a better photographer!!!
Ashley was absolutely amazing and so much fun!!! On our engagement shoot the Fire Department randomly came and she decided we should take pictures with them and the truck... not only was that a blast but those are some of our favorite photos from that shoot! She made our wedding day so easy and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Her photography is light and elegant without being washed out. All of our wedding photos were stunning and Ashley photographed EVERYTHING we could have ever wanted from our day. Needless to say, she is a phenomenal photographer and we wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture our special day.Ashley Cook Photography's reply:

Oh my gosh, where do I even begin with Ashley. She was, hands down, the most incredible vendor we worked with and I could not have imagined our wedding day without her there. My husband does NOT enjoy getting his photo taken, but Ashley was able to make us both feel so incredibly comfortable and captured the most breathtaking photos we could have ever imagined. She was an absolute joy to work with throughout the whole process, and from the first time we spoke with her, we knew we had to go with her! Her photos are exceptional, her attention to detail is unmatched, and her personality is top notch. I truly couldn't imagine a more perfect wedding photographer. Thank you, Ashley, for everything. Unbelievable and necessary.
Having a good photographer on your day is absolutely necessary. A lot of people are nervous to spend the money, but it is so worth it. Ashley's photos have a way of taking you right back to that place or time and feeling the motion. She was so supportive along the way and on the big day - not only was she our photographer but she helped me with my dress, my hair, wrangling the whole bridal party and family - she helped create a timeline for the day. She is so loving and dedicate to her craft. I can't really put into words how highly I recommend her. -

Ashley was absolutely amazing on our wedding day! We felt so comfortable with her and the day felt very natural with her by our side. We wanted to be very present in our wedding without feeling like we missed out on pictures. Ashley went above and beyond to make that happen and we are forever grateful. Your wedding day goes by so fast and it can feel like a blur and Ashley does such a good job and capturing every little moment including all the things you feel like you missed out on. Ever since I saw Ashley's dreamy photos of my friend's wedding 3 years ago, I knew I wanted to have Ashley capture my own wedding. We planned our wedding rather quickly and Ashley was incredibly responsive and helpful from our first call. She helped me to think through all of the details and timelines. On the day of our wedding, she had such a calming demeanor and made everyone feel at ease. When we received our photos (far sooner than I expected), I was absolutely floored. We love Ashley!
Ashley was so much fun to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. Ashley is the kind of person you want and NEED around on your wedding day! When we picked a photographer we wanted someone who captured fresh, pure images and she does just that and BEYOND. We didn't stop smiling the entire day. Absolutely going to call on Ashley again when it comes time to expand our family and take lots of photos!! -

Ashley Cook is simply fantastic and impressed me through every phase of working together! Incredibly communicative, easy going, FUN, thoughtful, generous, prompt, she made ME feel like a client, not just a fellow vendor at our client’s wedding! I could wax poetic about her talent has a Photographer and all of us were blown away by her wedding sneak peek gallery- which she delivered in record time! Trusting Ashley to capture your special occasion(s) is really a no-brainer. -

Just before our originally scheduled wedding date, my husband had to be hospitalized due to illness which caused us to postpone our wedding. I called Ashley, voice shaking and not knowing what the cost/schedule impacts would be if I had to change our date so late in the game. Ashley's response was "what can I do for you? what do you need from me? get through this and we'll figure out the rest later." And then, on our original wedding day, she sent us flowers, a journal, and a sweet card. When it came time to reschedule, Ashley was nothing but accommodating. She showed up 4 months later to our 'new' wedding date and totally rocked it! Pictures turned out beautifully and she was such a trooper through all the wedding day hustle!
Ashley was clear and efficient in her communication. She was extremely well priced. She was flexible throughout the whole process and made us feel like we were her only clients.
Not only is Ashley an absolutely amazing photographer, what we loved even more was her heart. She puts so much thought into the details and went far above and beyond what we ever expected! It is obvious she loves her job and her clients. If I could take Ashley along with me to capture every big life event, I would! -

Hannah Sent on 10/20/2017We used Ashley Cook Photography for our wedding in August 2017, and we could not be happier! Her photos are amazing, and she is so sweet and easy to work with. I can't stop looking at our wedding photos. Her wedding packages include a free engagement photoshoot, which was a great way to get to know her before the big day. On the day of the wedding, she was so helpful. Whenever I needed something (not even photography related) Ashley jumped right in to see how she could help. After the wedding, our sneak peak album came so fast! (we were still on our honeymoon when we got them!!!) We just got the rest of our photos and there are so many, we're trying to go through them slowly to enjoy every one... Ashely is the best!
