    My husband and I always wanted the triple threat (ceremony, reception, and hotel block all at the same location), which is exactly what we achieved by booking our wedding at Aloft - Mount Laurel. When looking for a venue, I hated the old school (and ugly) parsley carpets of most hotel ballroom, but Aloft had just the right modern/bright/fun look we wanted.

    Desiree (Director of Sales and Catering) was the most helpful person throughout the entire wedding planning process. I have a CRAZY work scheduled and live about 50mons away from the venue (without traffic) and she was more than happy to work with my schedule. I could not ask for better!

    We used Aloft "preferred profesionals", received a discount for our photographer, bakery, and DJ. Which worked out phenomenally since they have all worked together many times prior to our wedding day.

    My husband, our guests, and I had the most fabulous time.

    I would HIGHLY recommend the Aloft as a one stop shop for a fantastic wedding!

    This hotel was great and the girls were helpful. However, ask to stay in a new room because the older ones have ripped head boards. Some of my local guests were placed in rooms that look like they had some mileage on it.

    As soon as myself and then fiance (now husband) walked through the doors at the Aloft Mount Laurel for our wedding consultation, I knew instantly they'd be hosting our Halloween wedding. The hotel's look and atmosphere were exactly what I was looking for and we booked shortly after our first visit. There were so many times the Aloft staff exceeded my expectations, as they hosted all aspects of my wedding (ceremony, reception, after party & accommodations), that I've lost count. Jenna, the event coordinator, and Linda, their group sales manager, and I must've collectively exchanged over 300 emails (I'm quite hands on) and they made things happen with urgency, courtesy and professionalism. I can't tell you how many times I was approached at my wedding reception by guests asking, 'how did you find this place?!'- I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else. Thank you Jenna, Linda and the rest of the fabulous staff at the Aloft Mount Laurel!!

    I first fell in love with Aloft in 2012 when I attended a bridal expo. I am obsessed with the modern design throughout the hotel. I contacted the sales manager( who was Chenoa at the time) and we got started on building my package. I booked the venue for 9/18/15 and just hung in the balance for a year or so. In August 2014 I contacted Chenoa and we began the entire process. (the timeline of the day, food choices etc.) Then, in Jan. 2015 Chenoa informed me she was leaving. I was extremely nervous about the transition, but then Jenna stepped in. SHE IS AMAZING. She made me feel at ease and was so organized. She promptly responded to all the e-mails and went over so many things with me(probably more than once lol) She was always kind, professional and detail oriented( which I love). When the day of the actual wedding arrived I didn't worry about a thing. I knew I was in good hands with Jenna. Everything about my wedding was perfect! The food was outstanding and the service was also great. (The drinks were strong, which is hard to find at most weddings anymore.) Everyone had a great time! The process of blocking rooms was easy and my guests loved that Aloft is a "one stop shop." I had my ceremony, reception, and hotel all in one spot. I am truly grateful for Jenna, Linda (who helped me block rooms), Alexis (who set up all my personal touches at the wedding) and the entire staff for making the day special. The only issue (very small) that came up was the person who was in the suite the night before wouldn't leave before 3 pm, which made getting ready in the bridal suite tight. (Basically, it was more the guest being a jerk and not leaving, even though he knew a wedding was coming in). I don't blame aloft for that, but it was a little inconvenient since I did book the room so far in advance. But, I want people to see all the positive!! Despite the room not being ready, they put us in another room right away. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else!! AMAZING!

    We did not use Aloft for our wedding Ceremony/Reception but we did use them for our accommodations for the evening. We had a great experience with them!! Staff was very friendly and helped us with any questions we had leading up to our event. We had a rather large amount of guests staying at the hotel that evening and everyone enjoyed it! Room prices were very reasonable. Upon our return from the reception the bar/lounge area, as well as the outside courtyard were open for our use for a few hours and it was a great place to continue celebrating our wedding day!!!

    It all started with the decision to have our wedding at a hotel in S. Jersey. We had multiple meetings setup for the same week we saw Aloft, but Aloft happened to be the first. Well, after 5 mins. with their Director of Sales, Chenoa Lane, we knew there was no need to look any further. Chenoa's confidence in her craft, spot-on efficiency and ability to listen with all of her senses was astonishing. She knew what we needed and wanted without us even saying a word. She worked with us, reassured us, NEVER misled us and gave us the confidence to sign our contract and send in our deposit within days. There was no need to look anywhere else. Aloft was where we were going to have the best night of our lives--and that it was!

    Enter: Desiree Ligotti, Director of Catering and manager. 6 months before your big day you receive a call from this burst of energy who has already become so familiar with you as a couple; your needs, desires and hopes for your event are shared completely by Des. Every detail is thought of and executed to the highest degree. I was so calm the week of my wedding because I knew everything was in Des' extremely capable, organized, thoughtful, genuine and hardworking hands.

    Every member of the Aloft team treats you and your wedding as if you're a member of their family. No task was too little or too big. Our guests, staying in the hotel, couldn't get over how incredible everyone who works there was! And I haven't even mentioned yet, the décor of not only the GORGEOUS ballroom but every nook and cranny of this hotel is sassy, swanky, modern and fabulous.

    And the best part is--everything is incredibly reasonably priced. The venue, the hotel rooms, the snack foods as well as the catering menu for your event. I'm so blown away by my experience, how perfect everything flowed, how well thought out every aspect of our weekend was...

    From the moment my husband and I entered the Aloft Mount Laurel we fell in love! Then, we met Chenoa - and we were sold! She was so sweet, fun, and HONEST. We booked immediately - then started working with Desiree. Between Chenoa and Desiree, they were HEAVEN SENT! They helped us every step along the way and did everything in their power to eliminate any stress and make this a fun, easy experience. We love that the Aloft didn't look like every other wedding I've been to -- we loved the modern, chic look! On our wedding day, when an issue occurred with an outside vendor, Chenoa and Desiree jumped in right away to fix the issue! Throughout the whole night, Desiree was going above and beyond, not only for us, but for my parents and our guests! Her actions were so genuine and sincere, that we had dozens of guests come up to us telling us how amazing she is! They don't just treat you like a dollar sign and another client on a list, they treat you like family and go out of their way to accommodate your day! Their food is so delicious -- everyone at our wedding raved about how amazing it was! Anyone would be crazy not to go to Aloft for any event or just to stay the night! The whole staff is so friendly and helpful - the front desk, the bar tenders, the kitchen crew, housekeeping -- we never saw someone not smiling and asking what they can do to help us! Going with Aloft for our wedding was the best decision we ever made!!!!!

    Aloft is such a phenomenal place! Me and my husband love it so much! They were amazing people from the time we booked our wedding to our special day! Des,our wedding planner is totally sweet and she made everything smooth for us!!! Chenoa the director of sales, was great as well!!!! :) love love love!! Definitely renewing our vows there!!     From my initial visit when Jerika gave me an informative tour of Aloft’s facilities to my final farewell hug with Desiree after my daughter’s wedding everything at Aloft was first class. Chenoa, the sales manager, negotiated our contract with knowledge and grace, patiently answering any and all questions, and when we met Desiree from Catering and Convention Services, I knew my daughter’s wedding was going to be outstanding. Desiree, a smiling bundle of energy, made every interaction fun and provided suggestions and insights drawn from experience and an obvious love of her trade. On the rare occasions that Desiree was not available, Sabah willingly and efficiently lent her assistance. The tasting provided by Chef Mike and his staff far exceeded our expectations and was hands down the best of our three family weddings. The décor of the ballroom and the food at the reception was positively commented upon by many of the guests and the w xyz lounge served as the perfect spot for the ‘after-party’ when the reception ended. The only slight bump we encountered during the entire wedding planning was with the Aloft reservation process and that was satisfactorily addressed as soon as it was brought to the staff’s attention.

    Everyone at the aloft was so nice, they allowed us into the bridal suite early so we could get ready in there. The staff was courteous as they butlered hors d'oeuvres. My wedding was smooth and the place is beautiful!

    I had nothing but a great experience with Aloft Mt. Laurel. From the very beginning it was easy to work with Chenoa and Desiree. After the initial booking process, I spoke with Desiree every step of the way. She was awesome (even moreso because she has an awesome name!:). Everything was as I imagined it to be and I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. I've received countless compliments about the venue, the food, the rooms, etc. I highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the South Jersey/Philly area. Thank you to everyone at Aloft, especially Desiree.

    This is the first review since we were the FIRST event ever held at aloft Mt. Laurel! They were exceptional...period! We were more then impressed with their services and compassion with helping making our day wonderful. Everything from the rooms to the wedding were great. The staff was excited to help and willing to do whatever it was to make us happy. We were given access to the bridal suite the night before the wedding so we could us it as a "get together" spot. This is just ONE example of the many extra little things they did to make us feel welcomed. We had our ceremony at the hotel too. It rained on the day of our wedding so we could not use the outside courtyard for our ceremony, but its awesome and very quaint! You do not feel like you are at a hotel if you decide to have your ceremony at the hotel. The staff moved everything to an inside room which was nice.

    The caterer for our wedding was Foodwerx and the food was delicious. The cocktail hour food and reception food was more than great. Our guest are still raving about it!! The food selection was large and had a great variety.

    We highly recommend using aloft hotel in Mt. Laurel for your wedding. They were amazing. There is also many great places to get fun wedding pictures! Our guest loved the hotel and raved about it. The lobby has a great bar, nice fire place, pool table and great DJ/entertainment at night. (in a low-key way!)

    This is the second time I've written a review about the aloft's event planner Desiree; and my event hasn't even happened yet. Although Desiree works for the hotel, she seems more like my own personal event planner. She has helped coordinate outside vendors, and continues to ease the stress of planning such a large event. The warmth she continues to show my girls is just lovely. She has taken the time to get to know them, and is catering this event to their personalities. She is responsive, always pleasant, and is attentive to detail. If there were a Desiree in all of our lives, our lives would run a lot more smoothly.

    We just recently had our wedding at the Aloft Hotel in Mount Laurel and it was great :)
    I worked with Sabah who was awesome, throughout most of the planning process but Desiree, and Chenoa were equally great. Sabah always replied back to me very quickly. She would even respond back to me when I would get an email saying she was out of the office for a few days - so it was really nice that she took time for me out of her own personal time. I wasn't so sure about some details and Sabah stepped in with her suggestions and they turned out working PERFECTLY.

    The location was great. We had guests coming from all different parts of NJ and PA so the actual location of the hotel was very convenient. We had our ceremony outside on the courtyard which was amazing, and then our cocktail hour and reception inside. We received multiple compliments on how beautiful the venue was. It's a pretty modern place, and for us being a younger couple, that was exactly what we wanted. The food prepared was delicious, we received feedback saying how good everything tasted.

    The only true complaint that I have is that on the day of ceremony while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready in the Sweet Suite (which is also awesome) there were I think two other wedding parties around the hotel taking pictures - particularly another bride taking pictures in the cocktail hour room. Firstly, this caused some confusion among some of my arriving guests because these people were obviously not part of my wedding, but they were in my location, and secondly, it was really just kind of annoying that I felt that the spotlight shouldve been on me and my needs that day, not multiple other wedding parties taking pictures literally less than an hour before our ceremony.

    We stayed here the night of and the night before our wedding. We had a room with " Philly" carved into the headboard which gave it a very underwhelming feel to me for $150.00 night. Also it was a little small. There was also no room service which wasn't the best. The hotel itself was pretty cool and always had something going on. There was a halloween party one night and a marines ball the next. We loved that it was right next to Millers so that we could just walk over! Overall decent hotel, I'm not sure I'd pay 300 dollars to stay 2 nights again though.

Alofts are not full service hotels, therefore, we do not offer room service. However, Miller's Ale House Restaurant (located next door) will deliver to the hotel lobby. It's a great and convenient alternative for lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Thank you for noting the great energy at the hotel.     We booked a wedding at The Aloft Mt. Laurel for Oct 2013. Now while we had a beautiful venue, we experienced so MANY problems with the food during the reception that I feel the party was ruined. We have contacted the management team of Aloft and they have offered us $2000.00 to "make things right". My daughters wedding is OVER. It was BAD. I want my at least 70% of my money back! Not that this will make the wedding better, but it will force Aloft to pay attention to customer satisfaction in the future.

    THE FOOD WAS SERVED COLD! At the beginning of the reception, I personally went to the Maitre D' and told her the food was COLD. She completely dismissed me and did nothing about this. She did not tell the Chef, she did not tell the Wedding Planner. This FACT has been admitted by Aloft with NO resolve. So many of my guests have commented on the cold food. I am embarrassed that I tried to make this right and yet NOTHING and I do mean NOTHING was done!

    The desserts, we contracted for, included SIX wonderfully distinct choices. Without warning, the Pastry Chef found it necessary to supplement the inadequate amount of desserts with, what we believe, were FROZEN mass produced, boxed pastries (the kind you buy at Sam's Club) they insist that they were made in their kitchen. Hey, I know I had a frozen cream puff MYSELF. The bigger question was... why wasn't there enough of the contracted desserts? Who asked for these pastries?

    THE WEDDING CAKE!!! Aloft pastry chef met with us and we contracted a 4 tier cake with a different flavor in each tier. Our Guests were served ONLY vanilla cake. The Top Tier, which was contracted to be chocolate, IS VANILLA. Yes that is the one my daughter took home to remember her day! The rest of the cake went missing.... I guess that was all vanilla as well. They have offered to make my daughter a chocolate cake... IS THAT HER WEDDING CAKE?

    I had a great experience with Linda the group booking specialist. She was extremely professional and always responded quickly. My guests loved the hotel. I have to give a poor rating due to Desiree, he woman in charge of the brunch. I've actually never dealt with anyone less professional in my life. she was not responsive or helpful and the brunch was a huge let down in both quantity and quality. It was the biggest waste of money I spent during my planning process. I would have been better off bringing my guests to the Bob Evans across the street. Use the hotel. Just don't do the brunch!
