Beautiful venue and awesome staff!
We couldn't have been more happy with how our daughter's wedding turned out. Kaylie and her staff did an amazing job making sure the day went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about any of the food. Speaking of food, all of the guests have been raving ever since about how good the food was. Like literally the best salmon alfredo and chicken pasta they've ever had at a wedding or any event that is catered. The chef is top notch!We couldn't have been more happy with how our daughter's wedding turned out. We chose the Allenmore Golf & Events Center for several reasons. First off, it is beautiful. We originally chose to have our wedding and reception in the pavilion. Because of some scheduling issues, Allenmore graciously upgraded us to the Elks Lodge. It was perfect! We couldn't have been happier. The ambiance, the setting, the sound system and the staff are wonderful. I would highly recommend this site for any event you might be planning. We worked with Annie and she is very kind. The price was very reasonable. Good job everyone and Thank You for making our wedding a little extra special.We chose the Allenmore Golf & Events Center for several reasons. My husband and I had our dinner and reception here following our church ceremony. The staff was very easy to work with and flexible that morning to allow my family to decorate for the reception. They do have an exclusive caterer, Pacific Grill, but my husband and I like their food and they offer different packages (appetizers, buffet, seated dinner, desserts, late night snacks, etc.). Catering was also very helpful with planning our reception linen, layout and over-all set-up. We rented the Elk Lodge room from Allenmore Golf and Events Center (they had a couple to choose from). It was a lot more affordable than venues in downtown Tacoma, my husband and I searched and looked at a lot of places. The Elk Lodge Room was very spacious for our 60 or so guests but originally we planned on 100 attending and it still would have been very comfortable. The tables and chairs were all provided by the venue. They have a nice built in bar so there was no need to pay extra to set one up (the catering offers the beer/wine/liquor and bartender(s) as you cannot bring your own). There was conveniently a small stage in the front so we had our DJ set up there. There is a very spacious deck area that our guests used to hang outside for a little bit in between dancing. There also happens to be a lot of parking available but we rented a bus to transport most of our guests from downtown Tacoma which is only a 10-15 minute bus ride. This venue was great and I'm glad we had our wedding here. Annie was amazing to work with and Josh was a big help during the wedding. We had around 160 guests at our wedding and we help the ceremony in the pavillion seating theater style, and our reception in the lodge....let me just say the venue itself was perfect...no complaints! Annie was so helpful showing us the rooms whenever we wanted and helping answer our questions. It was very affordable compared to other venues and we had the rooms from 9am to midnight the day fo our wedding which was SO helpful in planning to decorate and get everything set up. I'm so thankful for Annie and was sorry to see her leave for maternity leave before the wedding (but obviously very happy for her!). This vendor started out great and then changed and later improved. We had initially been working with the head of the catering department and were promised several things and felt very comfortable with our arrangements. However, that person left the company and they could not initially find our information. Two months before the wedding we had to start over again. It took some negotiations between what we were promised and the new people we were working with, but after all was said and done we had a good time and received good service.This vendor started out great and then changed and later improved.
