  We hired Allen Cruz (without the Galaxy) to play at our wedding ceremony. He did such a fantastic job, he was professional and attentive during our pre-event conversations and played everything that we wanted perfectly. I received many compliments throughout the reception on how awesome he was during the ceremony. Thank you so much Allen!

  This band was AMAZING. I still have family and friends talking about how great they were. Plenty of music selection to keep everyone happy, very responsive to emails. Guitarist played during our ceremony, and DJ available for appetizer. Wish we could have kept the party going! Highly recommend this band.

  MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT HOW GREAT THIS BAND WAS FOR OUR WEDDING. In all honesty, my husband and I argued about whether to hire a band or a DJ. I was pro-DJ and he was pro-band. He specifically wanted to hire this band to play at our wedding near Chicago even though they are in Ohio because my husband just so happened to go to college with Allen Cruz. I told him that if this specific band was available, then he could have his way. I am so glad that we went his way because they were absolutely perfect! Allen was a wonderful MC for the night and was even able to speak a little Tagalog for my Filipino family. We got to have a Skype session with him about 3 months before the wedding to discuss all of our songs - first dance, parent dances, bouquet and garter toss. He even took our request to learn a song in Tagalog, which ended up being a huge hit with my older relatives. My husband and I just trusted them to play their own songs all night, and the dance floor was NEVER empty as long as they were playing. A+ job guys!!! 10/10 do recommend.

  Allen Cruz and the whole band made our wedding amazing. They were so helpful and flexible from the beginning of the process, and made planning the music so easy and fun. We got so many positive comments at and after the wedding about their performance, and everyone danced all night!

  If you are even thinking about hiring a band for your wedding Allen Cruz and the Galaxy is the only way to go! My husband and I went to hear them live before we made a decision and we needed all of about 5 minutes to decide. Listening to this band gave me goose bumps! They sound absolutely amazing! I suggest adding additional pieces on top of the 4 person band. We added a female vocalist, saxophone, and a keyboard player. They did not disappoint. From the moment they started playing at our reception there was not a open space on the dance floor. The continued all night to the minute the reception was over! We had so many compliments on how fun the reception was and this was because of this band! I wish I had a reason to hire them again! I have recommended them to many of my friends that will be getting married soon. If your still looking for a band, stop here. You've found them.

  We found these guys online and had a good feeling about them, and they totally beat our expectations. They were easy to get in touch with, flexible with our plans (which changed a little in the couple of weeks before the wedding), and then most importantly, fantastic entertainment. We had our first-dance before dinner was served, and after hearing just that one song, between 5-10 guests approached us to say "whoa, these guys are awesome."

  I have so many good things to say about AC&G. Super talented group of young guys, very professional, and very responsive. They even traveled to play our wedding from out of state for a very reasonable price.
  
  They were extremely accommodating and agreeable by learning a few special requests. Being the detail-oriented individuals that we are, these requests came with some very specific instructions, and Allen knew exactly what we were asking for. Allen MC'd the event like a pro too.
  
  Their set consisted of a huge variety of cover tunes, and our guests all had great feedback about the music. Overall, we couldn't be happier!

  Allen Cruz & The Galaxy is an incredibly talented band. They are versatile and can do solid covers of wedding standards, classic rock, and today's pop and alternative hits. We appreciated the band's willingness to travel, and their ability to provide their own professional sound gear was key due to our rustic venue.
  
  The band learned 3 songs outside their repertoire and played them flawlessly. Allen is also a great MC and DJ, and was able to seamlessly work in our own playlists for set breaks, dinner music, etc. My only suggestion for improvement is that it was difficult to connect by phone and all logistics had to be worked out by email.
