About 6 months before the wedding I set up service for out of country residents to get from Disneyland to Malibu for the rehearsal. I said that for now, just say Disneyland and I will later call to specify a location. They said ok. 3 months later I found out the hotel name, updated them. 2 weeks prior to the event I call to add another pickup location and this was ok but they required that I send photocopies of the front and back if both my ID and credit card!!!! How sketchy is that?!?!? They said I had until that day at 4 to send the photocopies. We then called to confirm the reservation and extra charges. The lady then proceed to scream at my fiancé!!!! She said how she has no time for these ridiculous changes, etc, etc. All we needed was to confirm...
So I wrote an email politely telling them we got yelled at and so will now cancel. They said "you have not sent photocopies of the front and back if your credit card and ID so it has already been cancelled." No apology!!! AND this was a pie because they said earlier we had until 4 that day and it was not yet 4.
One of the rudest most irresponsible and confusing, sketchy companies I have experienced. Cancel right now!!
Hi There, I wanted to thank you for recommending Ace to us. We had an amazing wedding thanks to all our wonderful vendors, including the chauffeurs of Ace Transportation that were not only extremely professional but they made sure that all of the wedding party was transported on time and without any issues. One of the Limos ended up having to make 2 extra pickups last minute and the driver DJ was so amazing about the added pickups and made sure to ease our nerves about making sure we got to both the ceremony and reception on time. I appreciate your website and will certainly recommend to friends and family.
I have to preamble my review by saying, I didn't want a limo in the first place but my now husband had never been in one before and wanted the experience for our wedding day. And boy did Ace provide an experience! The stretch Escalade limo was very impressive, comfortably sat our wedding party of 11 plus extra riders, and Jim (the driver) never got lost and provided a smooth ride. I was very impressed by the interior lights, the cleanliness of the vehicle, and the complimentary champagne, liquor, and sodas. We were able to play our own music in the vehicle as well.
THE WORST TRANSPORTATION COMPANY! If I could give negative stars, I would have selected that. PLEASE BE WARNED that this company is not professional. They are irresponsible, non-responsive, and rude. They were the closest thing to ruining my wedding. My wedding guests were supposed to be shuttled in from a parking lot to a wedding site. Guess what? The didn't perform their services because all of their drivers showed up late, after the ceremony. And, they still refuse to pay me back for the fees although they completely missed the boat. They claim that their was a lot of traffic that day and their drivers were lost, but all the other guests apparently were able to make it to the wedding, but not them. My own guests started substituting in as drivers to shuttle guests back and forth. They are a transportation company too, so aren't they supposed to know how to get to places? I got a lot of compliments about other aspects of my wedding, but it just pains me to hear when people say "you had a great wedding, but what happened with that shuttle driver?" I completely regret hiring this company. I still have yet to receive any apology from them as they do not want to admit any fault, because they want to keep my money. This is not a company that should be in the wedding business, when so much is invested on a special day as this company cannot be relied on.
