  Michelle and Marissa were a dream to work with!

  Michelle and Marissa completed hair and makeup for our bridal party of 5 women. The whole experience was so joyful, Michelle took our makeup inspirations and ideas and improved upon them in her wise execution, Marissa made our hair look incredible, meeting each of our individual styles with artistry! We were so happy and grateful to the two of them! Everyone felt glamorous and confident throughout the day and long into the evening!

  AMAZING experience!

  Michelle is outstanding. She went above and beyond for me. I was pretty self conscious about my hair being in a updo with the amount of postpartum hair i have and she made them practically non existent! I haven’t felt that beautiful in such a long time. Highly recommend A Cut Above for your special day!!

  Michelle and her team are amazing workers. They are detail oriented and work with your vision. I had the pleasure of having my hair and makeup done for my own elopement. As well as being in a bridal party where a cut above did the hair and makeup. Both time I was incredibly impressed with their work.

  Working with the crew at A Cut Above was a wonderful experience for our Oct 17 wedding. Michelle was incredibly patient with me as we rescheduled our original plans due to COVID-19, and helped make sure everything was in order for our big day. Jenna and Destinee were not only skilled hair & makeup artists, but they also helped keep my nerves at bay on the day of! My party loved chatting for them and felt very pampered at the experience they had!

  Our wedding was a destination wedding to upstate New York. Not being from the area I was nervous about my hair & make up. I found A Cut Above Salon on weddingwire & I couldn’t be happier. Michele was fantastic from start to finish. We did a practice run in July & not only did she do my hair but, she helped with suggestions for lodging & local dry cleaner. Michele always responded to my emails/text messages within 20 minutes. I was provided a schedule for the girls approximately 2 weeks ahead of time. Michele & Jenna arrived at the Tailwaters Lodge on time & went right to work. They were both fun & flexible with our groups shenanigans. We were even able to add on eye lashes for everyone & an extra persons make up. I would definitely use A Cut Above again for a special occasion.

  Michelle was such an important part of my wedding day! She worked with my picky hair requests and my wedding party and I had such a good time the day before with practice hair.
