    We can tell only two words to A&A Wedding Agency – THANK YOU. Everyone liked our wedding very much. Seeing a lot of couples getting so stressed out while planning their wedding, I could never have thought that there could be a real wedding WITHOUT ANY STRESS :) The planning, the recommended vendors, the castle itself and the ceremony, everything was wonderful! These memories will remain with us for life, and we will gladly recommend A&A Wedding Agency to anyone who wants to have an unusual and very beautiful wedding.

    Our wedding took place on 04.11.14 in Konopishte. I am very glad that the circumstances went in such happy way and I accidentally met your excellent agency on the internet expanses, this is fate) thanks for response so immediately. Thank you for attention, confidence, and simplicity of everything to be organized.Thanks for the bouquet which was brought so sweetly in the morning, make-up from the good and professional Jana, such a sincere registrar, and interpretor, thanks to the whole team. Thanks that we were not thinking about anything, but only enjoyed that day, and this is your professional job and the excellent organization of our day! Thanks that you were with us that day, you are members of our family. Admittedly, it was important because we were together. It is a pity that there is no photo of us together.     Our wedding took place on 03.10.2014. It was an unusual wedding in a hot air baloon. We are so lucky our wedding has been organized by the A&A Wedding Agency in fairly short terms, slightly more than a month (we were going on journey to Europe and suddenly decided to marry:)). I wanted something unusual and the proposal of the A&A Wedding Agency to hold the official wedding ceremony in a hot air balloon became ideal option for us. Particular thanks to Andrew, who replied to all the questions quickly, had always been in contact and, what is important, always gave the comprehensive information, so we did not have to worry. All the additional services ordered in the agency were great as well. For example, bouquet of bride was wonderful, exact copy of what we asked for, and the makeup expert Yana was just a bomb! In general, Prague is perhaps the nicest and most suitable city for the wedding. Thanks to the A&A Wedding Agency for this beautiful holiday!

    A&A Wedding Agency team is very professional. We have not regret for a minute, that we have chosen them to plan our wedding. They are young, active and very attentive people. We had an elopement wedding for 2, and evrything was just perfect!

We were choosing for a long time in what country we wanted to have the wedding and never regret we have chosen fairy Czech Republic.     Stress-Free!

    I am from the United States and we decided to elope to Prague. Anna picked vendors that were truely passionate about what they do. The day ran so smoothly and everyone was on time. Everything Anna picked was so beautiful (bouquet, dinner reservation, venue). Anna was also very helpful with all the legal paperwork. Andrew was our coordinator during the wedding day and he was awesome as well, answering any questions I had and he was very informative. I definitely recommend this agency! I had never been to Prague and they made my elopement dream wedding come true!

    Be cautious. Not what we expected at all

    We found A&A through weddingwire and contracted with them based on all five star reviews here. Didn't expect it to be the start of a dramatic nightmare.

    We have them plan our destination wedding in Europe. A&A asked us to wire them $1500 at the first place, out of which $1000 as venue deposit. We didn't think much and did as were told. It was later when we wanted to terminate the service because we were very unsatisfied that we found out the venue never required the deposit at the first place and A&A paid ZERO to venue. Instead, they kept that money to themselves.

    They are inflexible of comparing prices and services across florists and catering vendors, the main reason why we decided to terminate, They only want to use their own florist or those vendors "connected" with them. They kept emphasizing that the venue we booked has strict rules and only allow selected number of vendors. Even though I found a michelin level fine dining catering company who has provided services at the venue before and approved by the venue, A&A still insisted that we should use the catering vendor they recommended but refused to give us the name of the vendor. We don't even know what catering company they recommended to us until now.

    I am writing this review to remind all those we are selecting their wedding planners to be CAUTIOUS! A&A said they are a "full-service planner" that's why they use their own florists, provide selected vendor options and we signed up for it. If you are fine with this business model and their way of doing businss, go for it. If you are like us, who like transparency and fair comparisons across vendors, think twice. Otherwise, terminating contract with them is even more FRUSTRATING.

    We told them VERY NICELY our mindsets didn't fit, we needed to end the contract roughly 1-2 months into the contract, 3-4 months before the planned wedding. We were in the phase of choosing designs, didn't finalize anything. A&A demanded us to pay them additional $1300 to cover the full contract amount and told us the venue would be transferred to their other guests, which is RIDICULOIUS and UNHEARD OF!! After we contacted the venue ourselves, found out they never paid the deposit to the venue and the venue never said it was non-refundable deposit, A&A kept the $1000 deposit themselves and demanded us to pay them $300 more otherwise they would take all legal actions.

    I am posting this review here because I don't know why and how their previous reviews are all five stars, but other newly weds considering planners to be cautious, to be mindful of what you are expecting. A&A also "threatened" us if we ever post bad reviews, they will involve lawyers. We are not scared of their threats, we need to let people know what we've been through.

    Hello Cheryl!

    First of all, we would like to say, that we have over 10 years of experience in the event business, and have planned already over 440 weddings. And you are the first clients, who decided to terminate the contract with us (the reasons are explained below). We pay very high attention to our clients, and you received it as well. We are very client oriented company, the satisfaction of our clients is our N1 priority. As a result of it we have so many 5 star reviews here and also at our social media pages.

    Below is the summary of the cooperation with you:


    1. You contacted our company to be your full service wedding planner and to organize your wedding in Prague.
    Organizing a wedding works similar like a body, when all organs must work together, help each other and cooperating with each other – otherwise the body will not feel healthy. With the wedding is the same - planners work with the trusted vendors as one team. Clients look at our portfolio, based on the photos, videos and reviews they choose our company to be their wedding planner. We are able to guarantee the same high result only if we work with people we know, and are 100% sure they are able to deliver the high level of services. That is absolutely standard situation, if you order full planning service.
    We provided you several available venue options, prepared proposal of the whole wedding, discussed the detailes how we work – and you confirmed it by signing agreement and sending deposits.
    BEFORE you signed the contract, you received THE PACKAGE CALCULATION OF YOUR WHOLE WEDDING, references of different photographers, videographers with the prices. We discussed in details, how we worked in WeChat, emails and several telephone conversations. So you were away of the fact, that we work with our team.
    2. You confirmed several recommended vendors (photo, video), then cancelled the booking and chose to bring photographer and videographer from China – the reason was the production time, we offered to negotiate better production time but you ignored it (prices were almost the same). We did not have any problem with these external vendors, as they do not affect the wedding day so much (mainly post wedding experience with photo, video result).
    3. You received 21 options of wedding design. You chose the one you liked – we created the concept of the whole wedding design including ceremony, reception, photozone. First you accepted the proposal, we ordered 2 professional graphic visualisations of ceremony and reception design (worth 350 EUR each, which was not charged to you). In a few days your fiance contacted me and said, that you changed your mind regarding the budget, which had to be lower. We offered new option according to the exact budget he required (leaving the same concept). He said, that probably you will want to have even lower budget. We sent you cheaper options. At the end we agreed to wait for the final budget of the whole wedding, and you would decide after that.

    4. We sent your catering standard proposal, which we said can be changed according to your particular wishes (you could mix dishes from offered menues or request for something totally different). And in terms of prices we mentioned, that once the catering receive your food and drinks selection and number of guests, they will make the total calculation and discount for you as our clients.
    5. You sent the food selection. We said, that we will send you calculation within next days and also another venodor’s proposal (as you asked for comparison).
    6. YOU ASKED US TO ALLOW THE PAYMENT WITHOUT VAT. WE REFUSED THAT. OUR VENDORS ARE ALL REPUTABLE COMPANIES, AND THEY DO NOT ACCEPT ILLEGAL ACTIONS. And not paying taxes is illegal in Czech Republic.
    7. You called us in order to terminate the contract (before receiving the final offers from catering companies). We discussed the reasons. According to your first reason, you wanted to work with your own catering company. We explained, that the company must be reputable and approved by the venue. When you mentioned the Michelin company you are referring now, we told you RIGHT AWAY, that we accept working with them, as this company is approved by the venue. However, their prices are higher, and we suggested to compare the total budget calculations first.
    You said, that THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY THE REASON, AS YOU DECIDED YOU WANT TO PLAN THE WEDDING BY YOURSELF.
    8. We accepted your wishes to terminate the contract. The only thing we did not agree with, that you will not be paying our agency fee, and that you will not be paying taxes to our vendors. We requested the payment of the already provided services by our company, which was exactly according to the services agreement you signed.

    You refused to pay for our services according to the service agreement, and threatened us to post bad reviews. AS REACTION to your threats we told you, that if you will be posting false accusations, we will have to solve it with lawyers, as you are defaming the name of our company. We have requested your IDs several times, but you never provided them. If you feel, that you are right, please let your lawyer get in touch with our lawyer, and we will solve this matter in court. We have records of our communications and service agreement. There is no problem for us to prove, that we did nothing wrong in this situation.
    You have absolutely no ground of false accusations. It was your decision to plan the wedding by yourself , save money on our fee and to agree with your own vendors about different payment terms (illegal). Any other requests have been fulfilled by our company. But the work we have done must be paid.

    Regarding the booking of the venue, you were claiming, that it must have been booked by you directly instead of our company. We explained to you from the very beginning, that this particular venue works only with Czech companies, and the contract will be signed by us. They do not deal with private foreigners for renting for such events (they consider it very risky for them). It is a state property, and they have certain rules, which we must accept. If we confirm the booking to the venue, we must be 100% sure, that this booking is secured. We took your deposit as booking confirmation, and after that we confirmed the booking to the venue. The time, when this amount will be paid to the venue, depends on the payment schedule of the venue. If you continue with the booking, this amount would be paid together with other part of the rental fee. If you are cancelling the booking, the venue might charge us cancellation fee - that is why we took deposit. It is our right to take any deposit if we are making the booking on our name. It is not any extra money on top of the rental fee, but only secure deposit.
    After you decided to terminate the contract with us, we had a meeting with the management of the venue, and they confirmed, that they will not charge the cancellation fee if we cancel our booking now. We informed you about that after our meeting with the venue management.
    Since you owed us according to the service agreement 1300 EUR, we have credited the deposit you paid to cover the sum of the invoice.

    At the end, we would like to say, that we are very sorry, that our cooperation ended so badly. During the planning process you were happy with our services, and told your wedding planner Anna it several times. The problems started, when we asked for payment for our work, which is absolutely normal, as no one must work free of charge.

    We are reputable company in the industry. We have won WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award for past 3 years - because we love what we do, and client’s satisfaction is our priority.
    We ask you not to post false accusations about us or solve the matter in court - when both sides have the right to prove themselves with actual material, not just accusations, which have no ground.
