We had a great experience with Mandy from 50/fifty! We did not do a tasting prior to our wedding, which I was admittedly a little nervous about and I had only ever communicated with Mandy via email (where she was always professional and responsive). I was so excited to get to the reception and see the cutest mini-dessert display and the perfect small cake for cutting - it was exactly what I had imagined!! The cake was perfect and exactly what I had communicated with her! Everything was delicious and her advice about how many mini desserts was spot-on!! My personal favorite was the pumpkin mini cupcake with cream cheese frosting, it was the perfect addition for a fall wedding. Overall it was a wonderful, stress-free experience! -

Knew at the tasting this would be it!
50/fifty was a fantastic choice as our dessert vendor for our wedding. They were very responsive from the start and worked with us to be able to try everything that we needed while we were in town. They made it all easy and that's not even getting to the main point. EVERYTHING we had from them was delicious. The tasting stood out from all others because each thing was so so good that it made deciding what to get difficult. We ended up doing a small cake for ourselves and a small desserts table. The cake looked great and tasted even better. The small desserts were also fantastic, but none of that was a surprise after the tasting. I had so much trust in them after the tasting that I even added a different kind of dessert that we had not tried to our final order... and of course, it was spectacular. They do it right! don't hesitate. -

We opted for a table of mini desserts instead of a wedding cake and after searching for a baker who would be willing to take that on I found Mandy at 50/Fifty and I'm SO glad I did! The variety of desserts she offered was so much broader than anything else I had found, and each one was truly delicious. She was lovely to communicate with and everything was very organized and clear, the whole process was excellent. Our guests loved all the desserts, but the macaroons and the mini banana puddings were the big hits! I would highly recommend hiring Mandy for your wedding sweets. -

We ordered a one-tier dairy-free and gluten-free cake for our wedding. It was absolutely delicious! Mandy was easy to work with and accommodating to our dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend 50/Fifty for your cake & dessert needs! :) -

Incredible wedding cake!!
50/Fifty made our three-tiered wedding cake this past weekend, along with sheet cakes to cut and serve to all of our guests. Due to the pandemic and me and my husband living 6 hours from our venue/vendors, we were not going to be able to make a trip to the area for a cake tasting. This was no problem for Mandy, who boxed up all of our chosen cakes/fillings/icings in dry ice and ice packs, and overnighted it to us to do an at-home tasting! From the start she was so professional and easy to work with, and her cakes were absolutely DELICIOUS. I wish I had more leftovers, but all of our guests enjoyed it way too much! :D Thank you 50/Fifty!! -

Mandy and 50/Fifty created the most delicious desserts for our wedding! Our tasting session to decide on desserts was a highlight of the wedding planning process (honestly, Mandy brought to-go containers treats we didn't finish, but they were so good we finished them all). 50/Fifty offered many options to choose from, and we and our guests loved each selection. Many was great to work with, and we heartily recommend her! -

I can't recommend 50/fifty enough! Mandy was so sweet and accommodating- she let us have 2 different tastings when we decided to do a cake as well as a dessert bar. All of the sweets were delicious and we had a beautiful assortment of goodies at the wedding. She also designed a gorgeous wedding cake that tasted just as good as it looked! -

Do yourself a favor and book 50/Fifty for your wedding!
Amazing flavor options, wonderful quality and presentation, super kind and professional - I’d give them a million stars if I could.
For our wedding cake, we did one tier of lavender cake with lemon curd and cream cheese frosting and then another tier of lemon cake with strawberry buttercream + cream cheese frosting. Both tiers were an absolute hit!50/Fifty's reply:

beautiful and delish!
We're so happy we went with 50/Fifty for our wedding cake! From the start, Mandy was incredible to work with - made the whole process so easy and was so friendly and responsive. She has amazing options on her menu and we loved getting to sample them at our tasting. We ended up going with a 3-tier cake with 3 different flavors - champagne cake with strawberry compote filling, lavender cake with blackberry compote filling and strawberry cake with lemon curd filling. We also got to keep the top tier to keep in the freezer and save for our one year anniversary - complimentary! We definitely recommend going with Mandy for your cake :) you will not be disappointed!

Mandy and her team at 50 / Fifty provided our daughter’s wedding at Willow Falls, Hendersonville, with beautifully crafted, sumptuous desserts! An absolutely delicious semi-naked 2-tier cake (Chocolate and Almond cake layers, with Strawberry Buttercream, German Chocolate Frosting, and Chocolate Ganache), luscious banana puddings, and mini tarts: strawberry rhubarb and lemon curd, with fresh fruit toppings. Beyond delicious! Thank you, Mandy for helping to make this such as special day! -

I cannot recommend 50 / Fifty enough! I worked with Mandy who was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process; we decided to go with mini desserts and a small cutting cake for our wedding at Highland Brewing in Asheville, NC in May of 2021.
Since we don't live in Asheville, I was a little hesitant to pick out desserts without tasting them first, but in hindsight I don't think we could have gone wrong. We went with an assortment of bars, macaroons, mini cupcakes, and tarts... everything was so delicious and beautifully arranged!
They were a huge hit with our guests, so much that people started crowding the dessert table before the "official" dessert time, and our wedding cake was possibly one of the best pieces of carrot cake I've ever had! A big THANK YOU to Mandy and the team at 50/Fifty for giving our guests something to rave about!50/Fifty's reply:

As my mother and I (Bride) were looking for wedding dessert options, Mandy (owner) had posted on her instagram beautiful and impressive wedding cakes that we thought looked amazing. We decided to scheudle an initial tasting. Mandy was clear, direct and detailed in what cake, filling, and icing flavors were available as we chose the limited amount for the initial consultation. When my mom and I arrived at the tasting, Mandy had already neatly placed our requested flavors (cake, filling, etc) on the table and all her other offered flavors. We had a great conversation with her as we discussed cake sizes, pricing, and flavor combinations. She was so kind and thoughtful!
We decided on almond cake with nutella whipped filling, and lemon cake with raspberry whipped filling (which I still dream about). Mandy was responsive and organized with the billing, my vision for the wedding cake design and my guests LOVED the flavors!!
If you want a professional, bubbly, detailed, and organized cake vendor, Mandy is your lady!!!50/Fifty's reply:

Mandy was incredible! From our first meeting, I knew she was going to be extremely helpful. She messaged me back almost immediately and helped us schedule a tasting really quickly. She was one of the first vendors we booked and she was extremely flexible with our change in guest count due to Covid. She answered all our questions promptly and gave us detailed answers every time! We had a small cake and mini desserts that Mandy recommended and they were delicious! We were so lucky to have found Mandy and we would recommend her to anyone!50/Fifty's reply:

Delicious and beautiful!
50/Fifty came highly recommended by our wedding planner and venue and we are so happy and thankful that we trusted them to lead us in the right direction when it came to dessert! Mandy was very responsive to our emails and questions about flavor combinations. 50/Fifty also makes gluten free cake, a huge plus for us to make sure that the FOB could enjoy cake! The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and so delicious! If we lived closer we would use Mandy and her team to celebrate every occasion! Thank you for being part of our day and making it delicious! -
