My fiance, Michael, and I met when I was a freshman in high school. I was dating his best friend and the three of us were always hanging out. The summer after my high school year that boyfriend and I broke up and I was devistated. Michael was the only person who would talk to me at the time and helped me through the break up and became my best friend. On October 17, 2007, he asked me out. Little did he know that that was the day his best friend had asked me out only a year earlier. Lone behold, I thought it was a joke and I did not think it was funny. He continued to tell me he was serious and he really wanted to be with me. After a lot of talking, I said yes. We had a great relationship with our fair share of problems including him going to college three hours away. On December 22, 2009. Michael asked me to marry him at my favorite restaurant, Johnny Carino's. I cried and said yes. We rushed home to tell our friends and my parents (his already knew and were giving him advice on how to do it). We are getting married in 2014 at the latest, it might be bumped up depending on if he gets laid off from his job or not. I can not wait to be his wife!
