Yelena was the makeup artist for me and my sister on my wedding day. She was excellent in every way - calm, professional, and extremely talented. I cannot recommend her enough.

Firstly, she was extremely professional. She brought all of her own supplies - brushes, makeup, primer, etc. - and also gave me tips on what to ask for from the hotel to make my makeup experience as top notch as possible. For example, thanks to Yelena's advice, I was able to arrange for a makeup chair to be brought to my room for me and my sister the day of the big event. Instead of rolling the dice with bathroom lighting, I was able to start to day knowing that I would have professional seating and lighting for my makeup.

In terms of style, I loved my day-of look. I looked like myself - just better :) Yelena was very open to suggestions but also made plenty of her own. She is extremely knowledgable. For example, I wanted to use a stick foundation and Yelena experimented with it, asked why I wanted to use this particular foundation, and then recommended an alternative that was a great choice.

Working with a bride-to-be can be stressful, but Yelena was a calming presence to have in the room while me, my sister, and my friends got ready. She also worked well with the photographer and collaborated on creating some great shots.

I've known her for 5 years as she has been my go-to makeup artist for every important event. I knew I had to have her do the make-up at my wedding for me, my 3 bridesmaids and my Mom.
It was the rainiest, most humid day and all of our makeups lasted for 24 hours - through the weather and sweatiest dance party of my life! (I have to admit that I skipped washing my face that night and got the best compliments at the breakfast the next day as people didn't realize it was the same make-up).
Yelena is super responsive, sent us detailed timelines throughout my ever-changing wedding planning, arrived on time and stayed on schedule. She customize the make-up to every girl's palette and made everyone look their best selves.
I couldn't have imagined spending the day with anyone else as she was also a very calming presence on a stressful/exciting day.
