Wyoming Farm, LLC is a young chestnut and pawpaw orchard in Clinton, MD, at "Wyoming", a nationally registered historic place, that also serves as a wedding and event venue just 30 minutes from downtown DC. The historic house was built prior to 1800 and was the ancestral home of the Marbury family, made famous for the Supreme Court case Marbury v Madison. Weddings can be hosted with the house as a back drop on the scenic lawn using event tents or in the Tobacco barn, once renovation is complete in the Spring of 2019. There is no commercial kitchen, so catering will have to be provided by a third party, including bar service. Parking for 100 cars is onsite in the front field providing a scenic walk up to the property by moving through the historic English Boxwoods. Small services can be held within the Boxwood circle, up to 40 people. There is a family cemetery on site but that is not available for use as a venue, although guests are allowed to pay their respects. There is no lodging on site but "Colony South Hotel" is only 5 minutes away. Portopotties or portable bathrooms are not provided by the venue but are available using a local third party. Tents are available to be rented from a local vendor. Wyoming Farm does not provide, food, beverage, tent, lodging, or portopotties.
