White Tie did an excellent job with transportation on my wedding day. I was married at a venue with limited parking for the reception and no parking for the ceremony, so I relied on White Tie to shuttle guests from their hotel to the ceremony and reception and back. Teresa was really easy to work with and I felt confident in the days leading up to the wedding that I had nothing to worry about. I would NOT recommend White Tie Transportation for any event. We utilized their services for our wedding and prior to the event everything seemed to be going well. Communication & responsiveness was great. Then wedding day arrived and everything fell apart. We had ordered a single mini coach to shuttle our guests between two hotel locations and the venue. The company, for some reason, provided a large coach that could not get to our venue and had to stop at the top of a hill to drop guests off. This was not communicated to our wedding planner until the DAY of the wedding, and the email was not seen for a couple of hours because she was deep in wedding day tasks. They never called her or us to follow up on the email and relay the information to us that day.Sent on 01/21/2018
The company also did not update our request to adjust the pickup/drop off schedule and in turn, some guests thought that they had missed the shuttle and ended up driving to the venue, which can only fit 11 cars, and had to park blocks away and walk to the venue. This lack of communication caused the event to start almost 30 minutes late.
With the original agreement, the shuttle was supposed to be at the venue for the entirety of the event to shuttle guests to and from their hotels and the venue. Since the company changed the size of the shuttle, it could not get down to the venue and in turn, couldn’t sit at the top of the hill because it was on a busy road. We had no idea where the shuttle was and it left our guests stranded until the shuttle decided to show up.
It was extremely stressful for us, our families, and all of our guests. After the wedding, we went on our honeymoon & couldn’t deal with the issue promptly. So, our wedding planner contacted them to deal with the issue while we were away. She was able to speak to the manager, Corey, over the phone & he was very helpful and apologetic, asking her to follow up via email with all of the details. She sent the information & never received a response.
