Whip Poor Will Hill was phenomenal from the start! I picked my venue 10 months before my wedding but Mrs. Linda was there for me every step of the way. She allowed us to come look at the venue again with my wedding planner so that we could figure out where everything was going to go. She also let us store things the night before the wedding so we had no worries on wedding day. Her and her husband were very sweet and caring, they made sure I (the bride) had everything I wanted wedding day, even water 2 seconds before I walked down the isle! You can tell they truly love what they do!Sent on 06/12/2014

Whip-Poor-Will Hill is a beautiful location for a rustic outdoor wedding. The owner, Linda, was a pleasure to work with. She made us feel welcome and at home as if it were our home. She even added little finishing touches to our special day, fitting our theme. I have three small daughters that LOVE horses and we had several children coming to the wedding and I wanted to make sure the venue was kid friendly and everyone would have a great time. Children are a big part of my life and we couldn't have been happier with the decision we made to get married at Whip-Poor-Will. It was absolutely beautiful! I would defiantly use this venue in the future for other parties and events. Several of my friends asked me where I found this place, they were in aw of the peaceful nature of this venue. Prices are outstanding, if I may add. I received quotes from several places and just fell in love with everything about this place. Perfect fit for our perfect day!Sent on 09/05/2013
Whippoorwill-Hill is an awesome venue ! I highly recommend this venue for a memorable and beautiful wedding.
I was the DJ for a wedding and reception on Saturday September 24, 2011 at Whip Poor Will Hill in Waxhaw NC. This is the beautiful home of Linda & Mike Terrell. Linda was so very easy to work with and Mike saw that everything around the grounds was taken care of. This is a wonderful wedding venue. The grounds are well kept and the landscaping is awesome. Linda takes care of everything down to the smallest detail. She has a wonderful personality and it is easy to detect that giving her clients 100% of her talent and attention is her priority. She strives to give each bride a wedding and reception that will last a lifetime in memories. If you are looking to have a beautiful country wedding, I highly recommend you contact Linda. She can answer any questions that you might have. Linda and Mike are a great team. I look forward to working with them in the future.
Whip-Poor-Will-Hill is a beautiful and charming venue! As photographers composing an image, it's a huge help when a setting is pretty and has a lot of attractive elements. Whip-Poor-Will-Hill has such a wide variety of beautiful backdrops for wedding portraits as well as truly beautiful and timeless architectural elements. Its owners are wonderful people, who were incredibly helpful to us as vendors when we had the chance to photograph a wedding on their property. Don't pass up this venue!
