We loved having our reception at St. Anthony Main Event Center! Aaron, one of the owners was awesome at meeting our needs and was very flexible. The food was amazing and the staff was very professional. We received many complements from guests about the reception. Plus, the location was a great way to showcase Minneapolis to out of town guests.Sent on 07/03/2012

St. Anthony Main Event Centre fit all our needs for our wedding reception of about 135 guests. Prior to choosing this venue, I toured about 5 other locations in the Minneapolis area. St. Anthony & Three Sons Signature Catering as a standout from the start. We initially met with Carrie who was super detail-oriented, but not pushy. She gave us a tour of the space and answered multiple questions. After committing to the site, we were set up with Marguerite who led the rest of our planning process. I believe we met in person about 3 or 4 times and I was able to call or email with any concerns at anytime, usually hearing back in about 2 business days. Organized, efficient and a beautiful space!! Marguerite was honest with me when dinner was running behind, but it was no big deal. The food was worth the wait - Chef Ben created some amazing dishes and they were just as good at the reception as they were during our initial tasting. Guests liked being downstairs for cocktail hour, moving upstairs for dinner & then coming back down for the dance -- super nice not to be tied to just one room for the entire night. Definitely look into this space if you're planning an event!Sent on 12/04/2014

We were married 7 years ago, but I am still so happy we chose to have our reception at St Anthony Main. We wanted something different, but for 200 guests, it was hard to find an indoor venue other than a hotel. We finally found St Anthony Main and fell in love. It is a two story venue which was perfect because you eat upstairs and then go downstairs for the dance. This allowed our relatives to talk upstairs without being drowed out by the music. The venue is right on the river, so our guests could go for walks on the paths or hang out on the large patio and enjoy the breezes off the water. When we used the venue, they used Lancer catering and Buttercream, which was not good at all, but now they use Three Sons Kitchen which I have heard is wonderful. The main things we loved about this venue was the location, and that the interior didn't need decoration, the dark woodwork was beautiful enough. It also has a little bit of a warehouse feel which we loved. I highly recommend it!Sent on 01/29/2008
This is a charming site and you'll be treated to a talented, efficient staff. Three Sons Signature Cuisine is the caterer and their excellent, imaginative chef presents amazingly delicious food. There is parking in the attached ramp so the site is convenient in all kinds of weather.
