The Wenatchee Farmhouse is a wedding venue possessing many picturesque charms nestled in Wenatchee, Washington. The historic home was constructed in 1905 by a veterinarian before being purchased by Dr. Mares in the 1930s. In 1940, it was transformed into the Wenatchee Clinic Hospital. Eventually, lovebirds Chris and Michelle Mccormick took over the site and now offer it as a whimsical venue for weddings.
Facilities and Capacity
Throughout the property, there is a pastoral feel at The Wenatchee Farmhouse, which was built in a Dutch-colonial style. The venue is located just outside of town. Tulip trees that are over a century old dot the grounds while offering shade. You can host special occasions with guest lists of up to 100 loved ones at this retreat. There are both indoor and outdoor areas for celebrating your love and commitment. Inside, the architecture is classic with numerous details that reflect the vintage appeal of the home. In addition to weddings, the farmhouse and property are suitable for engagement parties, showers, and other nuptial-related gatherings.
There are a number of ways you can rent The Wenatchee Farmhouse. If you so choose, you can come the day before your wedding at three in the afternoon or later. During this time you can hold your rehearsal dinner and mingle with family and friends. On the day of your event, you and the wedding entourage can enjoy the climate-controlled farmhouse as you get ready. You can also rent the house for accommodation, providing out-of-town attendees with comfortable lodging. If you book the entire house, there is enough room for 10 individuals.
The Wenatchee Farmhouse is situated near a number of places to see, keeping guests entertained before and after your big day. Travel roughly 30 minutes by car and you can find yourself in Leavenworth, a town styled after a Bavarian village. In Wenatchee, there is downtown and the Pybus Market to stroll through for a bit of retail therapy. Meanwhile, nature lovers can take in the breathtaking sites of Saddle Rock and Lake Chelan.

I'm a 50 something who loves antiques, gardening and theater. I direct for a local youth theater program.
I grew up in Southern California, but in 35 years of marriage we've lived in 5 states. It's always been a dream to live in an older home and now I'm living the dream in my 1905 historical farmhouse. I LOVE Wenatchee!
