About The Summit Conference and Event Center

BIG BIG NEWS AT THE SUMMIT! We are completing a major renovation end of 2012/early 2013 and are open for business with our new look. Thus far, we have painted and recarpeted throughout, and we have chairs, ceiling tiles, signs all on order. Should be done shortly. It looks fabulous, entirely new and very contemporary. We invite you to come see our new look!

We would love for you to consider The Summit Event Center for one of the most important days of your new lives together. We are happy to help plan your day exactly as you would like it.

The Summit Offers You:

* Huge, Beautiful Grand Ballroom featuring 2 Italian Chandeliers and 2 large dance floors
* Seating for up to 420 people (For more intimate gatherings, our Grand Ballroom can be divided and we have smaller rooms)
* Affordable Rates (use The Summit catering or bring in your own catering) - For example, you can do a catered wedding reception for 150 guests for $6,000
* Space to have both your ceremony and reception for up to 200 people
* Full cash or host bar with bartender service
* Convenient location with free parking at 6th Avenue and Highway 225 in Aurora
* Hotel partners with negotiated room rates and free shuttle to/from The Summit and DIA

- Room rental (for parties of less than 150, a site fee may apply)

- Chair covers with sashes - $4.00 each
- Table Overlays - $5.00 each

Place Settings
- China dinner and cake plates

- Mirrored tiles for center of each table
- Votive candles - 2 per table

- Coffee station for $2.50 per person

- One to four bartenders, depending on the size of your party

Host or Cash Bar Service:

Responsible Consumption
The Summit has a liquor license issued by the City of Aurora and the State of Colorado. By law, all liquor consumed in our facility must be provided by us, and we must purchase it from authorized distributors.

We will not serve anyone under the age of 21, and anyone appearing to be under the age of 30 will be asked for identification. Also, the bar will close one half hour before the end of an event.

Host Bar Service
In a Host Bar, you purchase the alcohol from us, and we serve it to your guests free of charge.

Cash Bar Service
At a Cash Bar, your guests purchase their drinks directly from our bartender. The host pays nothing.

Combined Host/Cash Bar
There are several ways of combining a Host and a Cash bar. For instance, you may provide your guests with beer and wine on a host basis, and they could purchase any other type of drink from the bartender.

    It would have been nice if we could have had more than one hour to set up.

    Thank you so much for the 5 star review! One thing that we know we do differently than many other wedding venues is have 5 hours of event time rather than 4. We have found that most couples want more event time rather than set up time. Also, whether a couple chooses to use our full service catering or bring in their own catering, we always set up the Ballroom and clean it up. The one hour prior allows for DJ/band set up, centerpiece placement, wedding cake placement and other personal items. But we do all the heavy lifting prior to that. Thanks!

    Area, decorations, lighting was outstanding. Location for reception was easy for guest to locate .

    My Husband and I just recently had out wedding ceremony and reception at the Summit Event Center. We could not have asked for a better place, as well as the staff. I could not believe how helpful the staff was to make my special day stress free and relaxing. From beginning to end the Summit Event Center has a very professional staff. Roxie helped me plan and get everything prepared, and Cory made sure everything went smooth and as planned. I loved it and would recommend this place to anyone.
