History

Built in 1896, The Storyteller’s Cottage was originally a home for Connecticut State Senator and owner Alexander Thomas Pattison. After years of running the Wilcox General Store, which was later renamed Pattinson General Store, Pattinson died in 1931 and was buried across the street from his home.
